Twiglett,

That's very interesting - i will consider charting then - am off for a week's hold next week and then it is DS's 2nd b'day so after that and when get next period i can start. Will have to read up on doing it properly. Can you do it with an ear thermometer as that strikes me it would be easiest?

By the way huge congrats on your pg - hope all goes smoothly. Is it your first?

Thanks Twiglett.

I haven't charted as i cdn't face it really - keep hoping it will happen without doing that. Did buy Clearblue ovulation test kit for this month and then Dh had a bad back last week and cdn't BD so haven't used them yet.

Hi - i'm new to this board. TTC no 2 one year'ish now. It looks like a good place for support. I find it tough as i don't tell anyone and therefore can only discuss ttc with Dh but don't like to burden him with all my thoughts etc about it other wise i think he'd think i was mad!! Had result of sperm test today and that was good (lots of sperm apparently!) and I had day 19 blood test today so we'll see what that brings - a couple of weeks wait apparently.

Mmmm, sounds lovely Egypt!!!!!! have had so many twinges as if ov'g tho so who knows what's going on.
Jodee, I have cycles of 24/25 days now and until about 2 yrs ago were 28. I always get my LH ( in normal months) day 11/12, so it might be a little early yet. Try for another 2 or 3 days!
Jems, hope he's ok!!!!
Twigs, well there's no hope for you!!!!

Oh no, that was meant to be:

I'm just glad they didn't put it in a cast - Can u imagine it

Jemma7 · 09/09/2003 14:37

Twiggs - you are sooooo funny
Ever thought of stand up comedy? ;o

Decided to give DP a rest last night - His foot was really bad, bless him - think the doctors made it worse!

Anyway, no surge yet so hopefully he'll have today to rest and then we can get bd'ing tommorrow.

I'm just glad they didn't put it in a cast - Can u imagine it ;o

jodee · 09/09/2003 13:57

... and then I forgot what I really wanted to say ... like Quacks, I'm wondering if I'm not ovulating this month, using opks, started on day 8 (Sunday) as my cycle seems to be getting shorter - 25/26 days whereas it used to be 27/28 before ds 3 years ago, so I thought I would have had a surge this morning (day 10). I'd also heard that ovulation doesn't occur every cycle but this happened last month as well - no surge ... any ideas?

jodee · 09/09/2003 13:44

I'd be surprised the O word would be edited - as I've seen the F word used a couple of times lately (much to my shock ! )

That could be challenging, given the nature of a lot of our threads...and how do we write about the sex of the baby now??
