Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

nickelbabysnatcher · 14/01/2011 14:13

You stick around mainly to worry and fret and vomit....

Hi everyone, Happy Friday!!

Was out last night, had a good time despite not drinking but was fast asleep on the train home Blush I see exceptionally knackered at the moment.

Had a slightly pinkish wipe this morning (sorry for TMI!) so think the ERTD is on its way, slightly early (not due till Monday).

Good to see you here Getorf, I followed your POAS thread. Sorry you were disappointed by the result, but you've joined the right place Wink

takethatlady · 14/01/2011 13:29

Yes, nickel is right, STEP AWWAAAAAAAY. Grin at 'fizzy tits' though. That was my first sign (kipper me, I'm too encouraging of early testers ....)

To those of you worrying about how long it's taking, just thought I'd say it took me 7 months (only had 3 periods in that time) and my friend from school took 10 months despite having a proper good old go at it each month. She gave birth three weeks ago Smile. It's so bloody frustrating and I definitely recommend going to the doctor's to get checked out sooner rather than later (at least it gives you something to focus on) but it is normal for it to take ages. I recommend turning to drink ...

How are you today vallinna?

Have been noticing all this stuff about breastfeeding in the news today. I basically want to say BOLLOCK OFF to all these bloody people going on about it (including me Grin). Got some good advice from a family friend and mum of 3 the other day, who said the advice always changes, to ignore it, and just damn well feed the baby any way you can.

Think we might need a thread for mums with the JSing ethos when we've all graduated. Just Slumming, anyone?

nickelbabysnatcher · 14/01/2011 13:21

Envy at your half day period though. Envy

STEP AWAY FROM THE OVULATION CALENDAR!!!

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 14/01/2011 12:29

OOOOH

I have just been on the ovulation calendar (I never knew such things existed in life) and put in my approximate dates (even though they vary I based it on 6 weeks).

So - my fertile days were end dec/beg Jan, which fits in with (ahem) drunken new years eve sex.

Apparently though according to that I am not due on til 17th Jan. So period is not late then. But I still have fizzy tits so will wait til next week to see if I come on.

lol at MN royalty TTC thread - hardly! I still feel like a newbie and am pathetically delighted when someone like Custardo, Expat or Aitch answers me on a thread Grin

Reality is royalty, though.

GetOrfMoiLand · 14/01/2011 12:12

Thanks Nickel - I should fit in then. I have no idea about my cycle, I have a period every 4-6 weeks, but only am on for half a day so it is pretty much blink and you miss it.

When I had dd a lifetime ago I was't actually ttc - so to actually try for a baby is really new for me.

All this ovulation stuff I have no clue about - i said to DP last night 'you pee on a stick and it changes colour and then it means you are ovulation so you have sex...' and he looked at me as if I was making it all up Grin. Perhaps I am, god knows.

GoldFrakkincenseAndMyrrh · 14/01/2011 11:59

Popping on to catch up and my oh my is there catching up to do.

Congrats to all the BFPs but special meantion to:

Brassica - WTF? twins?! Double congrats!

Vallinna - huuuuge congrats too! My heart was in my mouth reading the posts midway up the thread.

I clearly need to come on here more often....

This is becoming the MN Royalty TTC thread, isn't it?

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 14/01/2011 11:50

I dreamt a fellow upduff viroid was telling the rest of us upduffers to bugger off to the grad thread BlushBlush

Vannilla's sounds much more fun

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 14/01/2011 11:48

I knew GOML was going to end up here! Grin My poor DH must have thought I was being right anti social last night waiting for that BFN! Grin (honest I have a life, really)

nickelbabysnatcher · 14/01/2011 11:44

nickelbabysnatcher · 14/01/2011 11:24

sooooooo very glad i read it again! GrinBlush

OP posts:
nickelbabysnatcher · 14/01/2011 11:23

Aw, hello GOML!
Grin

to be on this thread, you're mainly disencouraged from knowing when your OV date is, how long your cycle is, how much of this that and the other you might need to do to ttc, all we do is JS and not worry. Confused

although, we all break the rules.
apart from me, because I genuinely have no clue about my cycle Grin

and thanks hiddenme for outing yourself! Grin
