Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Cheeser · 15/01/2011 12:20

Hi everyone. Can't believe the number of BFPs on this thread! Grin

Hi Katyrah, hopefully you can join forces with the others and stop me obsessing.

Takethatlady I've also been having really weird and vivid dreams. Think it's a symptom? Wink

What I thought was my ERTD yesterday hasn't materialised... it was just a very pinky wipe... tiny implantation bleed perhaps? If ERTD doesn't arrive on Monday I'm going to test on Tuesday. Grin

Hope everyone's having a nice relaxed Saturday. Just mooching around doing a bit of housework here after a lovely lay in.

Katyrah · 15/01/2011 11:53

Haha truffkin, 'stunt ring' its like your famous!

And i have no idea what jsibg viroid or what you said i was it but im assuming its good!

May try the headboard thing just to see the reaction, much like one starts arguments for no other reason than pmt!

Truffkin · 15/01/2011 11:17

Ooh Grin KatyRah you are a proper JSing viroid then, I salute you!

Am feeling full of woman flu this morning so my skull is snot city and my nose is belatedly celebrating Christmas with a rudolf impression. I may need to invest in some drugs and balmy tissues today [feeling a bit sorry for myself emoticon]

But seriously I need to man up a bit and get on with the weekend. Am collecting my engagement ring today after it has spent 2 months in the workshop being repaired! Am soooo excited to get it back and not wear the fake 'stunt ring' I've had on!

Happy Saturday peeps

nickelbabysnatcher · 15/01/2011 11:16

DH did! so much so that I did it again just to amusse him Grin

OP posts:
Katyrah · 15/01/2011 10:54

Haha I think dh would piss himself if after shagging i proceeded to stick my legs up against the headboard! Glad im not the only one who doesnt take it all too seriously, was beginning to think i should be obessesing with the amount of ppl telling me i should be recording everything like some sort of exam!

nickelbabysnatcher · 15/01/2011 10:36

Oh, I forgot to say, I thought you meant 14 shags in 12 days, which is still pretty good going! Wink

With our shag capes on, I've been trying to encourage DH to do it every other day.

OP posts:
nickelbabysnatcher · 15/01/2011 10:35

Aha! KatyRah - just who we need on the thread, Welcome.

We frown at taking temperatures every day - you're not allowed to do that.

And you're allowed to drink as much as you like (in moderation, of course!) Grin

I have to admit I've done the legs in the air thing, but i'm not entirely sure what it's supposed to achieve, being's as 3 seconds later I've got stand up to go for a wee. Hmm
And i only did it because someone else on a previous JS thread did it and thought it was funny! Grin

I am the thread starter this time, Got2Dance - so what I says is the rules! Wink
You're not supposed to be obsessing ! Grin

OP posts:
Katyrah · 15/01/2011 09:15

Hey can i join! Loving this thread, ttc number 1 for over a year but havent given in to the legs in the air/no wine/taking my tempreature everyday - because lets face it, wheres the fun in that!

crowette · 15/01/2011 08:59

Your evening sounds fab TTL :) We're just going to have nice meal at home and watch a film - possibly the Robin Hood one with Russell Crowe in which I bought yesterday.
Am on the bus to collect my girls and using my new phone to type this - still getting used to it. Missed the first bus as it left too early, saw it whizzed by as I turned the corner. I need a car, the buses here are ridiculous.
Nothing to report here, no nausea yet, boobs normal, so the wait continues. Hope everyone has a lovely day. X

vallinnapod · 15/01/2011 08:44

You nut bag Grin

Up early here as DH bought some kitchen shelf thing on eBay and has to go to Coventry to pick it up (we live in London...) Hiring a van for the pleasuring...! Not such a bargain now...fool.

takethatlady · 15/01/2011 08:36

Grin at Mr truff's hard-working todger. Hope he gets it serviced once in a while Grin

Congratulations crowette on your anniversary! Awww one year ... so romantic. Had a lovely evening at Zizzi (I know I know, but we've got expensive baby things to buy so watching the pennies) and went to the cinema to see 127 Hours. It wasn't a romantic film (it's the one where the guy cuts his own arm off) but it was that or Blue Valentine, which is about a relationship going horrifyingly wrong, apparently, so 127 Hours it was. It was quite good, but it was sold as an ultimately uplifting film. The uplifting bits didn't quite match up to the horrifying bits though (though it allowed much teenage clinging onto DH :))

Sorry to keep boring you with my dreams, but had a corker last night. We had a baby, and when it was about 18 months we decided to take it to church, where it went all Chuckie on us and ruthlessly massacred the congregation with a knife. We manage to escape and hitch a ride with a lorry driver, but the baby was after us because it wanted to kill us too, and the police were after us and we knew they'd never believe we had a baby that was also a ruthless and violent murderer Shock Confused Hmm

Pregnancy dreams are awful!

Truffkin · 14/01/2011 23:31

Wow, how would you even fit them in around normal life? I'd love to see Mr Truff's face if I suggested 14 daily shags were required to win a baybee. I think he'd rather remain child free than subject his poor todger to that much hard work!

Got2Dance · 14/01/2011 22:41

Oh...isn't that normal Eskarina ? 14 shags a day? You must be falling behind!! Grin

Eskarina · 14/01/2011 21:20

Got2Dance I read that as "managed CD12 and had 14 shags". Hats off to you for that one hun!

crowette · 14/01/2011 19:53

TTL it's mine and OH's anniversary of being together on Monday too - a whole year Grin but we knew each other at school too ... I had a massive crush on him Blush

Well, I'm home alone tonight - OH has gone out for a 'jamming' session with his mates, so I thought, 'oooh can get a curry, watch a girly film and drink a bottle or two of Jacques cider ... but I have nausea Sad again. But this time it's evening, and just when I thought I'd got away with it today! Is way to early to be MS, but that doesn't stop me thinking 'yay!' Also was play fighting with OH before he went out, and his arm brushed my boobs - ouchies! Still - it's too early (smacks sense into self)

Now, do I cook my curry and hope it's just hunger that's making me feel queasy, (even though I've just had a couple of bhajis for starter and they haven't stopped it ... or go without in case I throw it all back up?

Lovely Grin

Got2Dance · 14/01/2011 19:30

Wow!! I turn my back for a couple of days and all chat breaks out!! Have been busy at work, but have eventually managed to catch up on the thread. Not that I can remember it all, mind you!

Welcome to the newbies and not-so-newbies.
I did chuckle at the hard-core, royalty MNers coming back to the start and joining a conception thread! This is the place to be.

Vallinna - i'm really pleased that all is well.

Congrats to Reality - definitely another Kitten Envy

And sorry to the BFN and ERTDs. But just think how muc fun there is to be had on the thread! Especially now the not-upduffed out number the grads again!

Nickel - you are making me laugh with your baby snatching antics!! And desperately trying to keep the viroids on the JSing way of doing things. You do realise, don't you, that you are the only one just JSing?!!! Grin

No real news this end. Managed CD12 and 14 shags (am on clomid) but not the 16. Both DH and I were knackered and he was planning our anniversary weekend away. So I decided I'd rather have a good weekend surprise than a half-hearted JS...is that bad?? I figured I'd have ovulated by then anyway (although there seemed to be some lurking pantsnot)

TTL - can't you tell them all to read Shakespeare? All of it? Surely that will keep them all busy?!

takethatlady · 14/01/2011 18:34

Grin nickel and also Grin at truffkin. Like it :) Not going to find my way around a newborn though - just going to have big glasses of wine when I want them, give the baby formula when I've had said glasses of wine (because I'm so responsible and wouldn't drink and breastfeed Grin), chuck all the baby books out the window and stick my fingers in my ears when people start telling me about routines and organic puree and other such guilt-inducing things, and dump the baby on a babysitter (my mum) whenever I feel the shag-cape calling Wink. 'Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times ...', that's the mantra isn't it?

I am currently seriously sressed though as I have fucked up my prep for term. Teaching on Monday at 9am and have not put together my reading list/worked out what the hell we're doing all term, and haven't read what I'm teaching them on Monday. Am driving 200 miles to celebrate SILs birthday tomorrow and 200 miles back on Sunday, so am more-or-less up shit creek.

Oh well, there's a thread party for reality, it's mine and DH's 12-year anniversary on Monday (not of wedding, of being together, and yes, we were only sprogs ourselves when we started going out), so I'm going out to have a slap-up dinner (well, it'll probably be either Pizza Express or Wagamama Grin), throw a bit of bunting of our own, and maybe even have a little slurp of DH's wine. Somehow I need to fashion an outfit that makes me look pregnant and glamorous, and not like the pie-munching slob I really am am turning into...

Have a good night viroids

Truffkin · 14/01/2011 18:18

Goos God Reality you've done a Kat on us haven't you?! Congrats, glad it was a short stay for you.

Nickel step away from the babies Grin and definitely second the drinking plan, I am feeling a cold coming on so plan to indulge in some wine hot toddies tonight to ward off the lurgy.

Vallinna very pleased the bleeding has stopped, hope it's all plain sailing from here on in.

Take That how about 'Just Mumming' for whilst you are still trying to find your way around a newborn?!

GoldFrakkincenseAndMyrrh · 14/01/2011 16:35

Bloody hell, Reality!

Loving Just Slumming Grin

Suppose we ought to resurrect the JS grads again but it keeps slipping off threads I'm on.

Nickel when you start hanging out in the Due in Jan thread, looking shifty and ready to run with the nearest new born, we'll have you committed. Until then feel as broody as you want. I think I felt more broody this time last year when we weren't even TTC than I do now. The good news though is that's it's Friday afternoon and you're allowed to get as unupduffed shit faced as you like.

deemented · 14/01/2011 15:38

Nice one, reality Smile

nickelbabysnatcher · 14/01/2011 15:36

it's all GOML's fault, you know.
