Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

What CD are you on Josie? Just a thought...

JosieSmith1 · 02/02/2011 10:21

Thanks Katie I honestly can't describe how I feel. I had a miscarriage years ago and I know it sounds daft but I feel as awful as I did then. I could really do with going home and being on my own but I'm stuck here till 7. I have banned myself from going anywhere alone today as when I don't have to hide my tears from people I can't stop them.

I certainly wouldn't be telling people this early if it was me, and I bloody wish she'd kept her mouth shut. She's only told us, no-one else will kow for a while. I keep thinking if I don't get pg soon, how will I cope watching her get bigger and actually looking pg SadSad

kateepie2 · 02/02/2011 10:06

Sorry you were upset josie, seems a tad early for her to be announcing that sort of thing, wonder if boss asked her to. If I get pg, I will be keeping schtum until I know its stuck!

Don't be embarrassed about crying, no one will think anything of it I'm sure - just say its your time of the month or something if anyone says anything, usually works!

xx

My new colleague just announced she's 5 weeks pregnant. I just cried my eyes out in the tearoom on my own and I don't think I can hold the tears off all day. It's obvious I've been crying, I'm so embarrassed

JosieSmith1 · 02/02/2011 08:35

Any update Got2Dance? Fingers crossed your MOT doesn't cost you through the roof!

My car should be ready by no later than 5.30pm so by then it'll all be good Grin And I will be dragging DH to Ikea after work to get the rest of our decorating stuff in Grin

Good luck Practically, got my fingers crossed for you

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 01/02/2011 22:24

How is your sister doing, G2D? I live in Brisbane (in answer to the question a couple of pages ago). It's also hot and humid and we had a power outage last night and we all had to lie there for a couple of hours sweltering with no fans etc working. Thankfully DD slept through it. But today I have a headache and feel nauseaus but I think it's a combination of it still being so humid and getting bugger all sleep last night.

We did manage to JS last night but now DH is away for 4 days with work so if I were to get pg this month (which I don't think I will) then it would have to be already done. I hate waiting!

babylann · 01/02/2011 22:05

Any update on your sister Got2Dance? I had a ridiculously long labour too, so can understand how she must be feeling (desperate!) It wasn't even the pain that got to me, it was the "urrgghh I just want this all to be over now!"

9 months is definitely too long.

Got2Dance · 01/02/2011 21:23

If it makes you feel any better Josie DH's car cost £300 for its service and mine is going in for its MOT on Mon.....grr!!

Look forward to your time off and making your home lovely.

JosieSmith1 · 01/02/2011 21:09

Your poor sister Got2Dance, bet she's fed up by now!

My car is in the garage tomorrow so hopefully by tomorrw night it'll all be over and I can distract myself by going shopping and doing stuff in the house again

Got2Dance · 01/02/2011 20:08

tee hee - evening Lizzy. Year 9 can be shockers...not yet caring enough about GCSEs and too big to be scared easily.

DH is asking for the laptop, so I'm going to totter off for now.

My sister is doing well, but when I left her at about 6 at the hospital there wasn't a lot going on. Small contractions but not much movement.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 01/02/2011 19:44

lol, I'm here, but not got anything interesting to say! What do you want to talk about? I could tell you how sick I am of year 9 if you like...

Got2Dance · 01/02/2011 19:39

Hello??

Where's everyone gone?!

BamBam21 · 01/02/2011 14:35

Got2Dance · 01/02/2011 13:57

Sorry!!! To clarify to our viroids: Nickel has not shate herself (at least not today). She merely commented on a thread in which a troll claimed to have done so. And Nickel was very kind and helpful.

Better now? Grin

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 01/02/2011 13:55

shit

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 01/02/2011 13:53

ah, can't believe it was pulled!
bloody trolls :(
and your comment made it look like i had sit myself... Hmm
Wink

Got2Dance · 01/02/2011 13:52

Oops...just seen the thread has been pulled as it was a troll. Very odd thing to do.

Got2Dance · 01/02/2011 13:48

Good - I'm glad it wasn't your sisters fault. Keep being mad at 02 rather than her.

Spent lunchtime walking around with sister. She's doing really well, but still only mild twinges or contractions. She was induced with DD1 and she was in hospital for 36 hours before she made an appearance. I'm popping back after work to see her again.

Anyone else see the Victoria Station shate pants thread? (I know Nickel did!). I was late for lunch with sis cos I wanted to read what happened!! But we both had a chuckle over it.

Hope everythings ok with you colleague Josie

And welcome back Foghorn - it is hard to keep a balance. I just enjoy the inane chat that goes on on the thread Grin

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 01/02/2011 13:30

no, i got nothing from O2 at all, and there's nothing on my O2 profile about a picture message.
Angry

JosieSmith1 · 01/02/2011 13:19

Sods law Nickel, glad it wasn't your sis' fault in the end

Katiepie that's a good distraction tactic Grin

There's something going on at work. My new colleague asked to speak to our manager in private about something, then nearly started crying Confused hope everything is ok. Her mam has been unwell with skin cancer, hope it's not related to that Confused

kateepie2 · 01/02/2011 13:00

Angry at 02 on your behalf too Nickel did you get sent a code or a link in a text from o2, that's happened to me before, you have to put the link into the computer to see the pic

xx

kateepie2 · 01/02/2011 12:59

Hmm I am using chocolate as a distraction tactic... so will probably look pg even if I'm not lol Hmm

yummy though! Grin

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 01/02/2011 12:56

apparently, Sis sent a photo to my phone before anyone else saw him.
I haven't received said photo.
I'm now Angry at O2 for making me mad at my sister.
and trying to find out how the fucking buggery i can get my missing photos! Angry
