Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

PS LOL at Truff but also I hope that's not true Shock. We could all be here a llloooooonnngg time in that case!

NervousNelly · 17/01/2011 19:55

Actually I've previously named 2 cats after my favourite brand of a particular type of booze. They weren't called Bacardi or Cinzano though.

Talking of cats, where is singingmog? Who else are we missing? Haven't heard from Miffles for a while either. Because I'm very very sad a caring soul, I might go back through some old threads to see who has gone quiet. There are so many now that I lose track Confused. Or is that stalker-ish?

. Going to have to work hard to get the shag-cape some action. OH and I just had a fight about sausages. Or more accurately the cooking of them.

Him: shall we just grill them?
Me: Hmm I'd rather not, I just brillo'd the grill the other day
Him: Well I don't want them fried, I'm on a diet.
Me: Well I could do them in the oven.
Him: What's wrong with the grill? Cleaning it isn't that big a deal.
Me . Oh really - how would you know? Clean the oven much do you? Hmm.

Please tell me you all have equally ridiculous discussions about these pressing matters Blush.

PMSL at some of these names from DH's. Ra? Lando? Just no!! And esp chuckling at Nelly clarifying the type of Kipling!!

Although for pets, I think the slightly funnier the better. Lewis and Barrack would be excellent.

Truffkin · 17/01/2011 19:07

My husband believes that Lando (after the Star Wars character) is an acceptable name for a human child. I think repeated babyfail is nature's way of punishing him (and protecting said child) Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 17/01/2011 17:42

Bacardi and Cinzano Grin

DP wanted to call our cats Lewis and Barack (we got them as kittens the week that Obama was made president and Lewis won the F1 championship)

GetOrfMoiLand · 17/01/2011 17:41

It is ancient egyptian apparently.

I have visions of me, DP and imaginary baby dressed in dish dashes and cleopatra make up, wandering round going 'Imhotep, Imhotep' a la the film 'the Mummy'.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 17/01/2011 17:38

Ra... as in ra ra skirt? I don't think DH has any idea, he had interesting enough ideas when it came to our kittens... Bacardi and Cinzano. Veto. They are now called Tiger Lily and Tinkerbell, I wanted the boy too, so we could have Peter Pan, but he drew the line at two in our two bed terrace!

NervousNelly · 17/01/2011 17:35

Ra Ra rarara, rararara-ah

OK that's just weird GOML. Is that a sort of Kipling-esk name (as in Rudyard, not Mr) Grin.

GetOrfMoiLand · 17/01/2011 17:29

Nervous I have been doing to same, much to my eternal chagrin and self loathing.

Mind you DP has come up with what can only be described as surreal baby names. Ra, anyone? Ra. Hmm

I am not allowing him anywhere near the (so far non-existent/unconfirmed) baby.

GetOrfMoiLand · 17/01/2011 17:28

Maud

NervousNelly · 17/01/2011 17:24

Mudeline Grin. That's perfect!

Blush.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 17/01/2011 17:19

see here to aid with any necessary hinting! They give you the mud, salt and oil, and leave you to it!

Got2Dance · 17/01/2011 17:14

Wow, Lizzy that spa sounds amazing! I'm so jealous!! Think I'll have to research that one and casually leave a print out for my DH to come across.

Go for it with the shag cape, Nelly!!

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 17/01/2011 16:57

hmmm.... names names names... How about Mudeline? or Spalotte?

NervousNelly · 17/01/2011 16:43

Crikey this thread moves fast! Firstly I'm also sobbing into my hanky at the departure of my fellow oldie-viroids over to the grad thread . But of course very very happy for them Grin. I will just have to make more effort to join them. Shag cape is being laid out for tonight, CD 11 and definite pant snot Wink.

GOML come on already and pee. I'm glad G2D pointed you in the direction of the Gu ramekin, we're a classy chocolate loving bunch here! You don't need ALL your piss to fit in it though Wink. And Nickel you too, it's time for a couple more BFPs to cheer me up :)

That mud-wrestling story is hilarious Lizzy Grin. What would you call your baby if it was responsible (a la Brooklyn Beckham)?

Poor Truff. Have a hug. (to the Newbies, it's important to note these are not just allowed but encouraged amongst the viroids!!). I agree, as I seem to say a lot, that wine is the only solution :(

Right better get that last bit of work done for today. It's so annoying how it gets in the way of my chatting on MN Hmm. Speak later

I like the sound of that - throwing mud at one another Grin

Actually there is a turkish hammam in Cheltenham which is orivate for couples - have always wanted to try that.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 17/01/2011 16:15

Yay to being a true viroid, thanks G2D!

I'm a tad jealous of the spa Truffkin. I went to a spa between Christmas and New Year in Canary Wharf. Me and DH had a treatment where you get to basically throw mud at each other in the privacy of your own steam room for an hour before they put the showers on you, and give you 15 minutes to put your bikini/trunks back on! If I am upduffed, that could well be responsible!!!!!

Also a good way of convincing OH he likes spa days after all!

GetOrfMoiLand · 17/01/2011 16:11

Good luck Lizzy for tomorrow.

I love the power of negative thinking - convince yourself that something is not going to happen, and then it is a wonderful thing when it does.

Fingers crossed in any case.

Truffkin it must be so hard to talk about babies with someone when you are trying so hard to get pregnant yourself.

GOML good point on the booze, my MiL and I have oft enjoyed a bottle of wine and a good natter. My diffed SiL will be in bed by 7pm going on recent form so I can avoid the baby talk with any luck Biscuit

Got2Dance · 17/01/2011 16:02

Lizzy - if you have no understanding of your cycle, then that means you're a true viroid!

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 17/01/2011 15:57

Wow, how much have I missed in a day at work! I'm still on for the tuesday testfest, although I have more or less convinced myself I'm not pregnant now, and am waiting for ERTD, which I think should have arrived already.

The egg donation thing from a friend (no matter how close) is just too weird for me, although I think I would manage to say thanks but no thanks politely... dunno though I might just Shock

I kind of want ERTD now, because I thought I ovulated quite early in the cycle, and the longer this goes on for, the more likely I am to be wrong, meaning I have no understanding of my cycle after all!

Truffkin · 17/01/2011 15:52

Thanks guys, am feeling loved (and chocolate cake is my fave Grin cheers)

Am hoping MrT will be making dinner for me tonight whilst I snuggle on the sofa under my blanket and catch up on my Sky+ delights from over the weekend.

GetOrfMoiLand · 17/01/2011 15:49

I hope you will have a lovely time at the spa truffkins.

massages and jacuzzia sound wonderful. Plus you can have lots of lovely booze.
