Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Oh panpipe, I am so sorry. Sad

Sounds like you have a long and erratic cycle as well. I have not ever cared before in my life (period turns up when it wants, who gives a monkeys) but now I just want to bloody well know. I am too scared to test really because I don't think it will really tell me anything - if it is a Neg does that mean anything, or is it because my period is not due yet?

I am also 5 weeks 2 days.

I think it is a good idea pan to move closer to London if you can, commuting after a long time is exhausting. I used to have a 2 hr per day commute, it was wonderful when I ,oved jobs to be closer to home. I worked it out that I was spending 40 hours a month (a working week) in the car. It is hateful and I can't imagine factoring a baby into that.

My Testing Tuesday is.......another BFN. I'm now 5 weeks and 2 days without ERTD so I haven't got the faintest idea when it's gonna show up. I've been fed up of them since the age of 15 (or whenever it was they started) and now one hasn't turned up I can't wait to see one! I just want to know what's going on!

Anyway enough of that. GOML have you tested yet?!?!?

And Cheeser are you actually my long lost twin? I've also been having the horrible sore nipples and am in the middle of decisions with DH about what to do next with our lives. One of the reasons to start TTC now so soon after getting married was that I'm still in an entry level job (which I'm really not enjoying :() so if I do take a break for kids then I won't have missed out on too much. We're also thinking of moving closer to London as the commute is getting to us now! We'll need a bigger place anyway if we do have kids so basically I'm looking for where I can find a better job. Doesn't matter so much to DH as he's all over the place with work.

I can't be doing with all these life decisions! I think a pub lunch is called for :o

GetOrfMoiLand · 18/01/2011 11:32

PIAR - lol!

No I haven't pissed in a ramekin yet (nickel - me and you are disappointing) - I was going to last night, but couldn't find the test anywhere. I had an empty pregnancy test box with nowt in it. I think that DP pee'd on it just to check Smile

Funnily enough my boobs are not at all fizzy or sore today. So perhaps I have just imagined the whole thing. But come on then period if you are bloody going to arrive

Yes - Ra is indeed a sun god Hmm.

DP and I watched OBEM - he actually welled up at the water birth (wasn't that beautiful) but I cried at the look on the welsh woman's face - didn't she look amazed when she first saw her baby? Went from pain and shock to complete awe in about 3 seconds. Beautiful.

Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 11:05

If you were due for ERTD, BamBam then might be worth a test. Milano one of the grads, had a day period and she was actually pg.

Morning ladies!

I just read through the last day of the thread, and was so excited to see if there were BFPs from GOML and Nickel! Where has GOML gone? Sorry you are having to hold out a bit longer Nickel. Hang in there!

Bit confusing here. ERTD seemed to arrive on Saturday, but was really light and has practically disappeared now. Usually a gory nightmare that lasts about a week! (TMI - sorry! Grin Anyway I am now wondering if something is up, as I still have quite sore boobs.

Hugs to everybody! Smile

Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 10:28

PIAR = Pee in a ramekin. We are classy here, you know! Grin

Cheeser · 18/01/2011 10:24

Oh, or test when you get the sticks Blush sorry, cross-posts.

Yes I would second how serene the water-birth woman was. Really inspiring actually. Especially as she managed to cope with her annoying attentionseeking sister in the room too, as well as her mum and DP! So lovely. Watching that programme definitely makes me more broody. Also slightly scares me as it looks painful but I still can't wait Grin

Cheeser · 18/01/2011 10:22

What does PIAR stand for?

Test, test, test, test!

Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 10:00

Oh poo. Never mind. Try and keep busy today. It was probably too early anyway... you know us, always keen for a bit of PIAR action!

Serene, huh? Maybe I should watch it!!

nickelbabysnatcher · 18/01/2011 09:52

my sticks haven't arrived. :( So no Testing Tuesday for me, sorry.

Ra is the name of the Egyptian Sun God.

We were watching a filmlast night (well, DH was watching it cos i was swimming) - when it finished i suggested we watch the end of born every minute. loved how the black lady's birth plan went right out of the window when she couldn't cope with the pain any more. (i did not like the shots of the business end! Shock ) But the white lady's birth seemed positively serene! I was just bowled over by her expression once she had finished and held her baby.

Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 09:14

I'm really trying not to think of the labour bit. Didn't watch One Born as thought it'd make me too broody - or at least wonder if I'll ever be able to hold my own baby. I do tend toward meloncoly (sp?) at times.

Labour just seems so....painful!

Honestly, we were all waiting expectantly for something to happen. GOML and Nickel - you're teasing us!!

Nelly - yes, that is just the kind of conversation/argument DH and I have. So annoying cos you don't really mean to argue, but they can be so annoying often sometimes.

Sorry to hear ERTD is so heavy this time. Hopefully it won't last long.

JosieSmith1 · 18/01/2011 08:41

Nelly we have exactly the same arguments Grin]

Cheeser I watched one born every minute but turned it off after the water birth. It made me cry only because I was scared that I would eventually have to go through that! I?m so scared of childbirth it is unreal. That one wasn?t particularly bad by the looks of it so figured I?d turn it off before a really nasty one came on and put my off my JSing. As it turns out, it did put me off slightly but we got on with it anyway Blush

NervousNelly · 18/01/2011 08:18

Anyone PIAR yet?

Cheeser · 17/01/2011 22:08

Evenin all.

Anyone watch One Born Every Min? I cried Blush at the young girl having the waterbirth.

NervousNelly that's exactly the sort of argument DP and I have! Grin

Having a particularly heavy ERTD and feeling quite weird, I can't stop eating everything in sight and am knackered. Off to bed soon... blimey I really have nothing interesting to report whatsoever!!

Good luck to those on shag-cape duty tonight.

Where's GOML gone? Has she started another piss thread?

Got2Dance · 17/01/2011 21:23

GOML???? Come tell us what of the PIAR....
