Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Morning all,

Sorry - wasn't AWOL, just busy at work.

Sorry to hear about ERTD Nickel and GOML Although I'm not sure that one day counts as a period. One Day?! That's insane!!

Fingers crossed crow. Keep busy and by the weekend you should know for sure. I guess I'm same as you - CD29 today, but definitely not going to test til Sunday, as 33 days last cycle. Sure AF will arrive.

Sounds like your w/e was similar to mine Nelly. I fed all 3 (nearly 4!) of my nieces on saturday. They came over for lunch and then took the 5 year old to watch DH play rugby, which was great fun. Actually, I might have said this already....sorry...I'm repeating myself. Ho hum!

However, Nelly you are not a bad person cos of your reaction to all the baby talk. You'll get your turn.

Good Morning, and welcome to the newbies!

Sorry about AF nickel Sad

Still waiting here ... had some mini cramps yesterday afternoon, went for a snooze and 'dreamt' I was having more, so woke up feeling like AF was well and truly on her way, but still nothing. I'm now offically late! Boobs are still tender, and I think that's about the only symptom I have of anything at the moment Hmm apart from some very low level nausea (that sort of mouth watery sensation in back of mouth) but then I could just be imagining that, as it's barely there Grin

I have work this afternoon, so hopefully that'll take my mind off things, and lugging around trays of fruit and veg may kick AF into starting if she's waiting!

NervousNelly · 24/01/2011 22:53

Evening all. Just thought I'd check in. About 6DPO here, so no symptoms here yet, made up or otherwise. We did manage a true JS last night Grin.

Sorry for the ERTD's arriving - the witch Angry. Waves hello to all the newbies too!

Had a very baby filled couple of days. In-laws came round with our Nephew (13mos) and a friend with their 4mo daughter. Was lovely and our nephew took his first steps when he was here Grin. Then tonight, went to visit a friend who had a boy 3 weeks ago, he was also super cute! Only thing is, went with another mutual friend, who has a 2yo; and felt a bit left out with all the shared experiences and mushy love-ins about how having a child was so amazing, etc etc. I am sure it is, and of course they don't know I'm TTC, but still felt a bit Hmm about it. Which makes me a Bad Person.

Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky soon :)

Must go to bed, mwahs to you all

kateepie2 · 24/01/2011 20:43

Ooh can I join please? I've been giggling laughing myself silly over this thread today (yep, read right the way through from the start). Pantsnot always gets me smiling Grin

Sorry for those who fell to the ERTD, better luck next time round... and good luck to those waiting to test.

I'm ttc numero uno, currently halfway through cycle 3 and not looking forwards to the loooong wait til I found out if I will be preggers or not by 10 Feb. Too bloody impatient, that's my trouble (obsessive, moi?)

:)

JosieSmith1 · 24/01/2011 20:32

Welcome 4andnotout (waves)

Sorryabout ERTD arriving for GOML and Nickel Sad

I've given up on temping and have decided it just doesn't work. Temp gone back down today and I'm convinced it's the thermometer not me Grin Wishful thinking perhaps?

Have just sent DH out to asda to get me some ice cream and dime bars, haven't had them for years! I'm so excited Grin

Hope everyone's ok

4andnotout · 24/01/2011 17:50

Hello can I join?

We are ttc #5, I had my last depo jab last march but still waiting for my body to get back into the swing of things! Had some spotting last night and today which is the first time since before I fell pregnant with dd4 (2) so hoping this is a good sign.

I'm not charting etc just mainly shagging Wink

GetOrfMoiLand · 24/01/2011 17:43

Sorry you are feeling so vile.

panpipe have you come on yet? I seem to remember you had exactly the same long cycle as me.

nickelbabysnatcher · 24/01/2011 17:35

I'd be alright if it weren't for the sickness feeling. Angry

nickelbabysnatcher · 24/01/2011 16:16

eurgh - that envy looks nasty against the new green background.

DH is getting me something naughty for lunch.

OP posts:
nickelbabysnatcher · 24/01/2011 16:15

thanks dee just what I need - a jam sponge [bleurgh] Grin

I'm going back to baby snatching.

It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so crampy - like my body's taunting me.

I started this thread, I'm supposed to get knocked up before it finishes! :(

happy shagging, Getorf - i'm sure you'll "catch" immediately. with your non-painful tiny periods Envy

deemented · 24/01/2011 16:10

GetOrfMoiLand · 24/01/2011 16:00

Oh I'm sorry Nickel. Sad It's a bugger isn't it?

I am off my period again now (I am lucky that I am only on a day) so will shag with intent for the the fiest time tonight! Dp has also had flu.

nickelbabysnatcher · 24/01/2011 15:19

i'm here! don't panic Grin

I have been very busy this morning - what with faffing around with my brand new shiny echelons - but they weren't :(
they sent some that unfortunately, i had agreed to have because they told me they were bascially the same, but they weren't basically the same at all and entirely wrong for my shelves. :(

I think i've got my period, but i'm not sure.
have been having cramps, but they don't feel like normal period cramps and i've been feelign abit sick too, but when I went to the toilet the "discharge" wasn't entirely white. I've put in a tampon and will check later (if i dare).
I did take an ibuprofen, which got rid of the cramp for a while, but it's back and i don't know whether it's a good plan to take another. (just in case)

BamBam - previously, I've been told you start it form when you get a proper flow (cos mine always takes a couple of days to get going)

I was hoping not to have to buy tampons and towels this month.

OP posts:
deemented · 24/01/2011 14:55

I always though period started from flow arriving, iyswim?

BamBam21 · 24/01/2011 14:21

Probably a good idea to wait til Weds dee, although it shouldn't matter at 32 days.

Well, AF seems to finally be gone for me. We had our first JS in ages last night, as DP had the flu. We are going to really try hard this month! Wink Think I am on about day 10/11, but not sure. Do you count your period starting from when you first get the pink/brown spotting, or from when it comes on "properly"? Sorry if TMI, but I'm never sure, and it's important for working out ovulation etc.

Where are you Nickel? Any news?

deemented · 24/01/2011 13:20

Will have to wait til i go into town tomorrow so i can get some Grin Will possibly wait til Weds to test though with FMU.

BamBam21 · 24/01/2011 13:17

Ah, go on dee! POAS should be your new hobby, so have a try! Grin

LOL crowette! Smile

deemented · 24/01/2011 13:02

Hi folks.

Sorry GOML - i too was convinced for you Sad

Well, i'm really spotty atm, and am having a few crampy pains, so am hoping that the pill might finally be out of my system. I don't know wether to bother testing or not - it's been 32 days since i came off the pill now.. do i test just in case?

Have been SWI daily, and manshape is very definately coming rond to the idea of having another baby.

Hope everyone is as ok as they can be.

crowette · 24/01/2011 12:56

I promised myself I'd wait until I was a few days late, to make sure. Had a very early MC in Sept and the hospital tried to tell me I hadn't even been pregnant (after 4 + tests on 3 different brands)Hmm

I keep telling myself AF is on her way, then I'll be happy when she doesn't arrive!

Maybe I should go and sleep the week away Grin
