Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Nickel are you around at work today? I was planning on coming in to see you and let you have a baby squish if you're up for it?

sorry for hijack ladies!

JosieSmith1 · 25/01/2011 13:03

How do you make those emoticons!? So cute!

Welcome Kaitee (waves)

Fingers crossed Crowette

Glad you had good weekends with neices and nephews Nelly and Got2Dance. My manager has just become a grandmother so we?re being inundated with updates and pictures and someone at my yard just had a baby so I?m feeling rather left out too Sad

Technically I am craving sweet food at the minute Bambam but that?s nothing unusual Grin

Oh Nickel, sorry for BFN. I know what you mean though, at least you know now

Got2Dance I?m bored too. Boss is off this week (bliss!) so this morning I have typed a letter, sent a couple of emails, oh and finished my last full uni assignment! Yippee! Now I?m reeeeally bored

I'm bored.....

aquavit · 25/01/2011 11:33

mine vanished at around 13 weeks first time round Foghorn

it also got better at about 10 weeks when I worked out that mainlining bagels eating actually helped! so I'm hopeful that I'll be better set to cope with it next time round

crowette · 25/01/2011 11:30

Haha bambam I'm usually so very impatient! But after last time I want to be sure it's had a chance to stick.
Just walked to the bus stop and have a bit of lower back discomfort and tummy feels heavy - so still think AF is biding her time. Hmm

forlorn I think that's the text book idea ... but can be anything from none at all to all the way through?

Feeling sensitive Foghorn?! Early symptom clearly!

Was off having a coffee break, sorry.

The nausea varies from person to person. Some right thro pregnancy, but worse in first trimester (12 weeks) isn't it? Could prob come from week 6, remembering the complaints of some of our grads.

But def not at CD17!!! [bgrin]

Been there, done that Nickel, on buying for the two eventualities! At least you know where you stand now.

kateepie2 · 25/01/2011 11:15

Sorry Foghorn, not been there so can't help!

Hopefully ov'd today, dtd day before yesterday, and this morning, so hoping the swimmers are now taking it in terms to head butt the eggy Wink fingers crossed.

I wonder why our periods go so damn weird when ttc? I never had anything but normal periods and then bam.

gosh you chaps are so well organised!

Mind you there's never been any point my counting because my cycle is so wildly varied (probably a good thing as I'd get muddled straight away).

Sorry to hear about disappointments. FWIW GOML I have used ovulation tests in the past and the only ones I got on with were the more expensive digital ones which give you a smiley face when you're ovulating (very annoying and patronising) - the others were very difficult to read. I spent a fortune on them though and despite shagging like mad when I was ovulating, failed to conceive several months in a row (when I actually did, both times it was by getting into a doing-it-every-two-days routine). So my feeling was it wasn't worth it, esp as it is a pita in terms of what time of day you're supposed to do it to get an accurate reading.

fingers crossed for those of you waiting to test!

crow - you have the patience of a saint! I am very impressed! [bsmile]

nickel - I hope you are okay. That sounds odd that you were so sore. LOL at the tampon and test combo though! I've done that in Boots before [bgrin]

nickelbabysnatcher · 25/01/2011 10:29

welcome to the thread, katee and 4notout

stop with your symptom spotting Shock Naughty, naughty girls.
Grin

well, yesterday evening I was in agony - I felt like someone was pushing my stomach out from inside :(

I thought that it's not normal for a period, so we decided that it might be a plan to buy a test anyway.
cos my period hasn't fully started (don't know if anyone can remember me saying that i get 2 days of nothingness then whoosh! blood everywhere), we thought maybe there was a teeeeny chance it could be spotting, not period.
So we went to sainsbury's and bought a double pack of tests and tampons and towels! I was embarrassed by this combination so we went to the self-checkout - where our shopping kept playing up Angry and I knew the lady who was helping Blush

Anyway, did the test this morning in my ramekin, and it was a BFN. a BF N.
don't feel so bad now, though, which is weird - I know what it is, so I feel better iyswim.

I'm being remarkably calm though - no rushing to the loo for knicker checking every 5 mins, like last time Grin I'm sort of thinking, what will be, will be. Of course I'll be gutted if AF turns up, but I'd rather her turn up than get a BFN and carry on waiting - perverse in a way, I know!

Got2Dance · 25/01/2011 09:39

Absolutely Crow - I remember. I'm doing same as you - leaving it as long as poss to test.

crowette · 25/01/2011 09:37

G2D my last cycle was 27 days, and that's the average I think ... although I've been known to have the odd one here and there that are up to 47 days! But I'm pretty sure I know when I OVd, and that'd make me 2 days past AF due now :) So holding out on testing until the weekend, if I get the chance! I MCd on CD35 last time I was PG, so I want to make sure this one gets the chance to stick (if indeed there is one to stick Confused)

Got2Dance · 25/01/2011 09:34

Ahh...so you're a tad early just yet, foghorn [bsmile]

[bbear] - just cos....thought he looked cute.

DH woke up in the mood, but I really really wasn't. Surprising, as normally completely up for it. TMI here - usually my breasts are really sensitive and a bit of TLC on them get me going like nothing else. [bblush] Not today. Oh no. [bconfused]. I told DH he might as well have been fondling my elbow!!! [bgrin]
Crazy symptom? [bhmm]

Trying to get as many of these in as I can [bwink]
