Am ok, we're ttc-ing (round 4). Had all the rmc tests and now waiting for clotting and karyotyping test results. DH had semen analysis and they told him it was low volume and there were abnormal forms present. But told not to worry just do another test in a few weeks and we'll take it from there. Am now worried that his abnormal sperm keeps fertilising my eggs...but I suppose one of the good ones will get through eventually, no?

Good news on the drugs Bee and being persistent about it. You being feisty Clare? I had rage for about the last 3 months with DD, maybe you're having a spot of that?

Today, after a few phone calls and messages, I received a call back from my consultant's secretary saying she's put me on his list for this wednesday. Huzzah! double huzzah as it's my usual day off, so only needed to scramble to check whether DH could look after DS for the morning rather than drag him into the hospital waiting room. Triple huzzah, because he wrote back within 5 mins saying all sorted.

So...hurdle no.2 jumped....several hundred more to go but can stop being angry at the world now at least.

lady I'm feeling feisty today so if you want me to hit the phone for you I will do!!! hope you manage to get it all sorted

PV I know, it's shit. I'll be back on the phone tomorrow believe me. I just hate doing this stuff. I bought some baby aspirin over the counter so at least I can start that and the injections weren't going to start til after a sac had been seen but that should be this week coming up, so I want to know what my plan should be. Made more complicated by teh fact that it's a tricky week at work to be trying ot take time off.

hey PV it turns out I have Leiden Factor V, so need to have aspirin and heparin/clexane injections daily once pg confirmed to try to prevent sticky blood causing another MC.

I'm attempting to make a potato gratin tonight. Such a risky dish. It should be total creamy/carby yumminess but so often just turns into wierdly runny slightly undercooked disappointment. I'm going for the full lard option tonight and have par-cooked the potatoes so hopefully will have something closer to the yum side of the spectrum.

We made pizza come yesterday. I was absolutely ravenous, tonight it's DH's turn to cook. Which is excellent as it means I get to sit here, and noodle on the laptop.

I downloaded a sleep hypnosis app yesterday, it's quite good - certainly worked last night, drifted off without realising it. Can give details if anyone wants them. Had no luck with GP/Consultant/drugs/scan combo yesterday. GP had said he would call consultant to find out what I needed to do and then either he or his secretary would call back and leave a msg about what I need to do. No msg, no call. So no idea whether he was successful or not.
This is soooo annoying. I thought we had a plan settled - get pregnant, call consultant, he'd book me in for scan to confirm and then prescribe drugs. Simple. But no..bloody consultant secretary thinks she needs to read through everything and then come up with a new plan that involves 500 more steps and confusion.
And of course GP couldn't follow through. That would be too easy. God I hate our practice sometimes.
Sorry. Small amount of anxiety over all this. I'll chase on Monday - not much option is there
