The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

phew, got some cross hairs, hopefully shagging is done for the next 9 month. Oh bollocks, its Valentines Day though Cant believe bonking has become such a chore. Confused Anyone who wants to chart stalk , do you think FF is to be trusted and I can have a rest now?

I'm getting excited for everyone too, especially top of the list Jolls, I so hope its a birthday BFP for you.

Hi battery thats great news! hopefully he'll be back just in time to enjoy that second trimester Grin

batteryhen · 14/02/2011 15:09

DP has heard he should be coming back from germany permanantly in June - hooray - all we need now is BFP next week and that will be a good week of news. xx

Must go - will be fired. xx

clareanna · 14/02/2011 10:22

Fx for you jolls

SameOldJollster · 14/02/2011 10:18

May have POAS this morning HmmBlush, as spotting stopped yesterday. It was a virginally white BFN however. But have just looked at when I got BFPs before and it wouldn't be til Friday or Saturday if it follows the same pattern IYSWIM.

So not out... yet. And no more spotting this morning, which is unusual as when pre-period spotting starts it just usually carries on. So... who knows??

Happy Valentine's Day my lovelies xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 14/02/2011 10:04

Looks like we have a few people in with a chance this week keeping fx for you all - surely the law of averages or something must mean there must be at least one bfp there?

youremindmeofthebabe · 14/02/2011 09:57

Hey, I just saw that too, jolls. Exciting!

velvetGrin exciting over there too.
And I've still got fx for you too Aandr- it's not over yet.

AandRMum · 14/02/2011 09:48

Just took a peek at the stats - so you are still in the game jollster! I have all symptoms of af turning up now so I gather I just have an overactive imagination and will just have to wait until Friday to see what happens ...

MummyA glad there was some good examples on your AS support site - hopefully it is in the LP category - nice to have a 14 day LP but not essential. Concentrate on shagging and 2ww mentalling

Velvetcu · 13/02/2011 15:59

Thanks mummya for sticking me on the list :) fx your lining being enough to keep a bean happy for a whole 9 months. Its great that you have other people to talk to about it and that they have positive stories for you.

loola i looked at your chart too and it must have changed its mind from what you thought.

Grin so everyone who is all shagged out, I'm finding it very amusing for some reason!

I am refraining from any comments on possible symptoms here. Have got a whole week to get through! I usually start spotting on cd24/25 and have had nothing today so thats good. I'm gonna feel like a right dick when AF arrives arent I Blush

youremindmeofthebabe · 13/02/2011 15:08

Hey all, How's it going?

Had a nice weekend, including muddy running, tea with friends, uni lectures, Big shop, and much much more! And of course the obligatory SWI. Consequently I am now knackered. Much like mummya Watching Star Wars with ds, he's an obssessive.

That's good to hear from others, hey mummya? Even if you're not at the stage you would like, it's cheering to hear others with their success stories. I'm shagged out too, although it has been quite an enjoyable monthGrin

velvet how's the boobs today?

nix hope you're well, and had a very relaxing weekend after the trauma of Thursday.

jolls sorry to hear that. But it aint all over yet. Doing anything nice for yor bday? It's mine 2 days after yours and mummya's -25th.

dachs Hurrah for scans-I saw the update, is it just a waiting game now for pup2?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/02/2011 15:00

Btw jolls - any news? I know you said you thought AF was on her way but I'm hoping you were wrong x

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/02/2011 14:55

mummya try to keep going a bit longer, don't do every day if it's too much. We usually start too early and exhaustion sets in before the crucial time - I think this month on SMEP has been one of the better bizarrely. It's good to hear that there are some positive stories in terms of the lining thickness - and it's nowhere near the 3mm you were faced with before. I know that doesn't make it easy, but try to take heart and remember the positives. I think a future pg will be scary and stressful for everyone on here, but obviously more so if youve got a specific worry to contend with - maybe you'd just have to embrace the worry and accept that you're allowed to stress if that makes sense? Will keep my fx for you to hear some good news tomorrow x

I'm not sure who InnocentRedhead is - maybe she'll introduce herself soon? Do you think maybe it's not obvious that the stats are linked to this thread?

wiggle sorry she's here, like mummya says, the odds are on your side now though!

No news here, I think I'm about 5dpo but not temping anymore which is actually quite liberating! Not holding out much hope, but at least I feel like we did everything we could this month, so we'll just have to wait and see. Que sera sera and all that...

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch here so will pass round Brew to all -

mummyabroad · 13/02/2011 14:17

Hi Nix hi Izz Feeling shagged out actually. We started optimistically early in the cycle and are both now nearing the point of total exhaustion, and tomorrow is Valentines Day Confused I am hoping to hear from the doc tomorrow. I asked the ladies in my AS group about their linings and got 10 replies from ladies all with thinner linings than me, 2 of whom are pregnant now, and one had a baby. Thats encouraging, but I still wish I had a thicker lining, it would just be one less thing to worry about.
I think my biggest fear is not infertility due to thin lining, but getting pregnant and suffering some huge complication with the placental attachment, which can happen at any stage of pregnancy. I just cant imagine how I would cope with something potentially going wrong through the whole nine months. But I guess I am not that worried, because I still want to try.Hmm

loola Hiya, your chart says three days now. Is that more the news you wanted?

getawiggle sorry about AF. Sods law says if you are booked in for fertility treatment you will get pregnant next month Grin

Velvet I have done your stats for you.

erm, there is a lady called InnocentRedhead on there? Has someone name changed?

nickstermum · 13/02/2011 09:38

Hello my love AR good to see you over here, i thought you had been left behind! /fab sounding symptoms... :) everything crossed

cant wait for you guys to get bfps x

I am fat, and proud but my definitive bump has deflated somewhat today after an evening of wind Blush

Mummy how are you feeling now, did dr march comeback to you?

loola2shus · 13/02/2011 09:15

Morning all

I have updated stats but it took me 3 attempts Blush Sorry!

Hope you are all well ( special FX to aandr and velvet )

Would somebody have a gander at my chart FF still says I ov'd 11 days ago but I'm not convinced! Any ideas? x

Velvetcu · 13/02/2011 09:03

Lol posted this on wrong thread!! My brain isn't working!

aandr fx for you! I'm gonna try and forget about it now otherwise I'll be wishing the week away and will be more disappointed when af arrives! So take off the suspenders and forget I said anything! Glad you are too fat nix it gives me hope that I might be too someday.

mummya I'm up for having stats in another place so I'll update when I'm on my 'puter instead of phone.

Have a good Sunday all

getawiggleon · 12/02/2011 23:33

Thanks for all the birthday messages. The caterpillar cake was a success!

AF turned up right on cue in middle of party today (uninvited of course) but for first time in 6 months I didn't mind. One more cycle then hopefully a monitoring cycle from fertility clinic

Some great suspender worthy symptoms going on there velvet and aandr! Fingers crossed for both of you!

I'm glad there are no stats here - I lingered on my ownsome at the bottom of the last list just as all the bfps came in, twas rather lonely down there. I'll add myself to list on new thread though. Thanks Mummy Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 12/02/2011 22:52

Fab symptoms btw aandr !

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 12/02/2011 22:52

Good idea putting it on a separate thread mummya I know there was a strong desire to keep lists off this one. I quite like the fact that I'm not automatically confronted with a statistical record of my ttc crapness as soon as I log on but there's somewhere I can go to see it all straight away when I want to Grin

How are you feeling today anyway chica? Hope you're doing ok xxx

mummyabroad · 12/02/2011 21:30

Hello AandR glad you came to join us! sounds like you and Velvet have got fab symptomsGrin

I see over on the mother thread it looks like we are in danger of getting kicked off the list. Is anyone interested in keeping stats going over here?

xxx

AandRMum · 12/02/2011 21:04

Nix happy you are fat - in the nicest possible way!

Waves to all you wonderfully familar ladies!!

AandRMum · 12/02/2011 21:03

Hi All - can I pop in the corner quietly? Have been missing you all and can't get my head around all the new names.

velvet I am completely with you. I am 9dpo and whilst I don't temp I am getting such strong symptoms - I cried on the tube yesterday when a group of 4 year olds popped on the tube, my boobs are aching, I have stretchy cm, I fell asleep in a cafe ... I am so worried I am just making it all up.

BTW. Oyster Bay is the affordable version of the somewhat overhyped Cloudy Bay from NZ. (not that I am an alcoholic or anything!)

nickstermum · 12/02/2011 20:26

Good symptoms v xx
