Does stretchy cm as opposed to runny cm = Grin Have vague memory of runny cm being the lining starting to pull away but stretchy cm being a good sign - clutching at straws here. Friday seems a loooooong way away. Other than inflated boobs - which I get for both af and bfp - nothing much going on here.

Boursin - yum num - we had chicken breast stuffed with Boursin, wholegrain mustard and cheddar wrapped in streaky bacon last night - extremely naughty but very very delish!!!

Cb digi every time velvet I got a negative with a cheapy using FMU but bought a digi and mid day the same day, got a positive.... Much more sensitive (in my humble opinion). Oooh I will be watching out and keeping fx Grin

Day22 and no Ov picked up yet. If I get a neg opk today though I'm running with yesterday being my positive. Cos I'm bloody knackered.

Eek for all of you for Friday though. I want to ov cos otherwise I'm gonna have to remain soberish at my birthday, and who wants to do that unless they've got a really good reason?

BB Nice to see you back, did you get much powder, or was it good enough? V jealous. Would like to eat a Boursin Poivre in your honour. May just do it if I can find a supermarket that stocks!

Which brand of said pee sticks is most sensitive? I have a cb Digi here but have heard they aren't that good. Got my bfp really late last time so I really don't want to test Friday but I will!

We spent a short time in Tokyo a while back. It was fantastic (very expensive!). We definitely want to go back as so much of the architecture we are drawn to comes out of Japan.

velvet I stalked your chart and I reckon poas Friday morning - you should be about 14dpo then shouldn't you? So you might well get an accurate reading (and fx a positive one). Also, if it's bfn you can enjoy a boozy weekend away which is sure to tempt fate to give you a bfp on Monday Grin

Velvet I've been to Kyoto and Tokyo (spent 3 weeks between the 2). Amazing! I would def spend time in both and if you do decide to visit them let me know and I'll try and remember the must do's!

So we are going away for a boozy weekend at centre parcs with our friends on Friday which means I will have to prematurely POAS on Friday morn doesnt it? Or do I just leave it and not drink too much?

Oops - sorry - SMEP is the sperm meets egg plan. I can't remember the link but I'm sure someone will oblige soon...anyway the idea is you shag every other day from cd8, then when you get a +opk, swi every day for three days, then miss a day, then one last attempt. Apparently the plan claims to have a 40% success rate after mc Hmm So some of us were testing that claim - it started on the mother thread so I think that's where all the linkage etc was.

yrmotb I would guess it's probably +ve (mine are never particularly convincing!) but would hold of drinking and try again in a couple of hours just to be sure.

jollipopsicles Oh. My. God. I am bursting with excitement (and it's not from eating 16 tonnes of cheese last week) I will try and keep it contained.

Skiing was fabulous, sunshine and blue skies all week and plenty of snow, vin chaud, hot chocolate with rum, cheese, bread and vino What more could a girl want!

YRMOTB dont wee for 2 hours and test again. I have been testing twice a day, watched lines get darker over a couple of days, but then the darkest one was just about as dark as the control line and I interpreted that as positive. Temps trump ov sticks everytime, and if they are still low then I'd say you are pre-ov/oving. If you cant manage that much more shagging, can you do every other day?

If you have ever been tested for PCOS or have reason to suspect you have it, throw the ov sticks away as you can get repeat high LH surges throughout the month that are no ov related.

gotta run now, I have a counselling session. xxx

Quick Q for those in the know. Just used my ov sticks and have just got as close as i've ever got to a positive beforeConfused it's still not positive, but I have drank loads today, and also been to the toilet a fair few times. Should I pretend it's a positive, or try and catch it later? WWYD? BBT still low this morning. Even though I'm on day 21 and have been shagging for England. Go figureHmm
