The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

Thanks for the tips ladies, I'll definately start googling those places!

My boss left me alone last week but has booked me in for an all day meeting the day after the cremation next week. Not sure what it's about but she's booked a day with each member of the slt so I'm hoping it's not another 'you're shit' chat. Thanks for asking caribou

mummy I'm so gutted for you. What has he seen to make him decide that?

battery I am famed for my poor co-ordination. Even going to zumba gives you brownie points Smile

CaribouMoo · 21/02/2011 21:45

Battery I would have put money on a BFP going by your chart. How many DPO before you've got a positive before?

Mummy how has he reached that conclusion, by the thickness of the lining? Surely that your cycle is back on track is a good sign though?

Mouse there are some beautiful places in Scotland, we went to the Isle of Mull last year and I was blown away. Also Donegal in Ireland has the most stunning beaches I've ever seen. You're at the mercy of the weather though! Is your boss being any more understanding now? That was shocking the way she treated you after your recent MC.

batteryhen · 21/02/2011 21:29

mummya - crap - so sorry :( - I saw on the other thread that he wants you to have a hysteroscopy - I am having mine next week and will be awake so can let you know how I get on and how 'uncomfortable it is(am sure you already know - not teaching you to suck eggs, just want to help :()

mouse I am from Devon so am biased but it is beautiful :) North or South is gorgeous - depending on what you like to do xx also my acupuncturist told me that nurofen can delay OV and that is the same sort of drug as bruffen and diclofenac.

Am surprisingly upbeat following my BFN. I have just re booked my flights to see DP in March - this baby making lark is very expensive!

However, I am very :( that I should have been going on mat leave in about 4 weeks, and 2 of my friends that are due at the same time will be starting their mat leave then :(

Just in from zumba - I have realised I have no rythym at all!

randomimposter · 21/02/2011 21:18

oh mummyA I'm sorry :(

mummyabroad · 21/02/2011 21:10

Doom and gloom time for me again. I got a reply to my emails to the AS specialist and its not good news. He suspects that I still have scar tissue and is recommending I have a diagnostic hysteroscopy. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

Sorry about your BFN battery.

mousebacon · 21/02/2011 20:01

Evening ladies :)

Just popping in to say hello. I'm trying to choose what to do for a holiday in the summer at the moment.

After the latest mc I decided to go and get lots of brochures but can't settle on anything and resent paying a fortune for a week or so in Majorca just because I'm a teacher.

So, started looking at centre parcs...DH says no way (£900 for 4 nights in a shed...mutter mutter mutter)

Any advice? Cotswolds? Cornwall?

Anyway also wanted to say that I'm definately down to just brown goo now so am going to poas in the morning to see if it's negative yet. I can't wait to be pg again!

Had coffee with a friend today. Her GP told her not to take any ibroprofen/diclofenac as it inhibits ovulation and prevents implantation. Now, I know I can't take it after a BFP but I never knew all of that so that's another thing on my banned list.

My GP knows I'm ttc and that I take these pills so why not mention it?!!

Aaagghh!!!!!

OK, time for Wine

mamapower · 21/02/2011 16:31

batteryhen · 21/02/2011 15:31

Hello [sulky emoticon] I tested today - BFN, and AF cramps :( had a bit of a wobble this morning. Spoke to DP about it and we have spent the afternoon jiggling shifts and flights to fall with OV in March :) so I feel better. I have never got pg with SWI afew days before SWI - I am one of these that need it on the actual day - so flights are booked, holiday is submitted - so I feel a bit better :)

wiggle - You must have read it wrong - I am a 28 day girl usually :)

And I am not going to temp this cycle either:)

Velvetcu · 21/02/2011 15:24

wiggle i got totally shitfaced on ov week and got diffed with a still-drunk-in-the-morning shag :)

getawiggleon · 21/02/2011 15:17

Ooh, tunnocks thanks for the lovely diffed chart! It's nice to see what one looks like. Despite my intentions to stop this temping lark, curiosity gets the better of me and I still do it because, on the rare chance that I do get updiffed, I would like to see what my chart looks like so I can frame the fecker.

Very reassuring to know that stress didn't get in the way of your bfp too. I think once you've experienced mc it's hard not to stress about ttc and the only way I could do it would be to get totally sh*tfaced during ov week but then that's probably counterproductive

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 21/02/2011 14:55

Unfortunately not I'm at work

jolls & wiggle I'm still uncomfortably here too. We can take advantage of our barren situation and drink OBSB to our hearts content while the others freak out about cramps etc Grin Envy Angry Grin

Our turn soon. Surely! I've chalked up 2 friggin years on here now!

Oops and congrats tunnocks x

its quiet around here this morning...

teacake best of luck with everything teacakeSmile its very reassuring to know people still get pregnant despite the stress. I totally agree FF should have some animated champagne cork pop and fireworks a la Free Cell Grin

battery Personally I find the torture of not knowing worse than a BFN, but if you know you will a negative will make you feel really bad then keep holiday out till AF is due. When is/was that?

hi nix looks like I am POASing for everyone at the moment Blush Grin

Well, the pressure is off to keep up my "perfect" chart, DS has me up at 3AM so I couldnt get a decent morning temp. So I am back to wobbly peaks and troughs as normal.Smile

Izz how is slimming world going Izz? Keeping up the good work?

batteryhen · 21/02/2011 06:20

hmmmmmmmm. Temp down slightly but the bloody heating didn't come on for some reason and I was freezing this morning. No sign of AF but no symptoms either.

What to do , what to do? Don't think I can bear the disappointment of a negative test:( xx have a good day everyone xx
