The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

Happy Birhday Jolls & Mummya

(I am still very light so not 100% sure but as it was an anovulatory cycle I might not get a proper af?)

batteryhen · 22/02/2011 21:15

mouse have just PM'd you xx

mummya - Yes my LP phase is usually 14 - 15 days long, I fully expect AF tomorrow. Can you let us know as soon as you have tested please - these suspenders are killing me Grin

jolls hello lady :)

BB even the thought of a 4am start makes me feel queasy!!

had my acupuncture tonight - she concentreted on blood flow and uterine lining so I feel better for that :)

mousebacon · 22/02/2011 20:55

Good luck mummya Smile

The tests I've been using are the 10miu Internet cheapies so pretty sensitive I suppose. The blood test is a fab idea - I'd really like to avoid fanjo cam!

I just want to move on, have af and ttc again. It's so frustrating.

Will ring the gp in the morning. Do you think it's something the practice nurse could do?

Happy birthday for tomorrow jolls and mummy

battery fingers crossed for you too Grin

getawiggleon · 22/02/2011 20:48

Mummy I have everything crossed for you and extra flashy suspenders on. Do you have any tests other than internet cheapies so that you can compare results?

Mouse I can't remember how long it took to get bfn after erpc but seem to think it was around 2 weeks. I think I'd contact the ward and see what they say, they may offer blood tests to see if your hcg is falling.

Izzy I'm paying for private tests next month. I decided that it was worth it for piece of mind esp as I'm not getting v far with my GP. I'm using redundancy money. Plus if there's a slight hormonal imbalance or something preventing pg that can be adjusted I want to know about it now rather than a year down the line when age will be even less on my side than it is now!

randomimposter · 22/02/2011 20:34

oooo, mummyA am so hoping for a BFP for our birthday! Have all crossed for you.

sorry will catch up on other news when I have 2 tics x

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 22/02/2011 20:26

eeeeeeek!!!!! exciting stuff mummya have everything very tightly crossed for you.

CD1 again for me and one more week until my D-Day results appointment at St Mary's.

Sorry for not name checking, am up at 4am tomorrow so off to bed for me, see you all tomorrow for Mummya's BFP!! Shock Grin Wink

nickstermum · 22/02/2011 20:00

not long til 12.30pm

mummyabroad · 22/02/2011 19:43

mouse I would give someone a call and see if you can get your HCG done, it could be a really low level and tailing off, in which case you would have a bit more peace of mind than you do now, if it does come up high then perhaps you could take cytotec tablets to help expel anything that might be left in there and get your cycles back sooner rather than later. Is it a really strong line you are getting?

battery Do you normally have a 14+ luteal phase?

batteryhen · 22/02/2011 18:17

mouse - if you are concerned give them a call - with my erpc I had a negative test 2 weeks after. Also - you just want to get on with things too so give them a call, they could at least do your hcg if nothing else. xxx

mummya - fingers crossed for you :)

Still no AF - am off to acupuncture - see if she can get things moving!!

mousebacon · 22/02/2011 18:08

Ooh mummya - fingers crossed for you xx

mousebacon · 22/02/2011 18:06

Hi ladies can I ask your advice?

I've just taken another hpt and it's still positive. It'll be 4 weeks since the erpc on Thursday. Is that normal? My bleeding is practically nothing now and when I've compared it to the test I took last week it's not any lighter.

Doyou think I should phone the ward?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 22/02/2011 18:05

mummya that sounds soooo promising!!!! You'll have to let us know how it goes with fmu, but it's looking good so far!!!

I'm liking the work analogy, maybe if I try explaining it to dh in those terms he would understand a bit better [slightly sceptical emoticon]
