Hello everyone

bb am also feeling despondant. I have a hysteroscopy booked on wedneday to find out where the hell my periods are. I am having periods but really light, so am off to have them investigated.

Had a bit of a meltdown at work today, I could reel off the top of my head about 10 friends that are pregnant, and it's just really taking its toll on me :(

I feel that if I could only be pregnant by my due date then I would feel better but I just cant see that happening now:(

I feel so alone,DP abroad and I have no-one to go with me to the hospital next week as everyone is at work :(

mummya I hadn't even thought of asking, but that sounds like a good idea, thanks! I also hadn't put my despondency down to pre appointment nerves, (more to one too many Leffe beers last night! ) but you've probably hit the nail on the head again there. I don't know what I want them to say / do, well I do but I don't think a magic pregnancy pill exists!

BB I am normally a blabber - I surprised myself. I hate those pre appointment nerves, but it sounds like you are getting closer to lots of answers. Blood test + HSG covers a lot of potential issues, hopefully something very treatable will be uncovered and you will be on your way to BFP shortly after (getting a diagnosis is much more time consuming and agonising than getting treated honest) and at least the HSG information is pretty instant. Can you ask for a CD of the images so that you have the option of getting them reviewed by other doctors if you want to at a later stage? xxx

mummya totally get where you are coming from about not telling DH, you give yourself as much or a little time as you need before breaking the news, he will be happy whenever you tell him, you'll know when the right time is. I'm hugely impressed you managed to keep quiet though, I'm crap and blab at the first opportunity!

Yet another colleague has just announced she's pregnant, I'm so numb to it all now it hardly registered and I don't think I actually said anything, I just walked away there was a group of us so I don't think she noticed as everyone was gushing congratulations.

This time next week we will have had our consultation with St Mary's and know if they have picked up on anything with the blood tests. I then have the HSG to contend with the following week and then I reckon we'll have an idea what we are actually dealing with. My periods seem to be getting lighter and this cycle turned up 3 days earlier than normal. Slightly despondent today and thinking that at 35 and DH at 42 it's never going to happen for us

Velvet Big Hug for you. if men got pregnant things would be so different. I am not the best in the world for DH advice but when pregnant with DS I persuaded DH to sign up for weekly pregnancy updates from www.babycentre.co.uk, it helped a lot. I wish I had done it sooner because until then he was just under the impression that the first trimester was the easiest because the baby was smallest

So... my news today is that I chickened out of telling DH I couldnt really find the right moment and I had my therapists words ringing in my ears that I should consider getting used to the idea myself before telling him... so I just left it!! Ooops. Feels wierd now.

I had a row with DH this morning - I told him I was finding it really hard to get through each day and he just laughed and said that I always like to make a meal out of things!!

I'm on a mission today to do all of my planning for the whole of next term I had better get started soon!

Am initiating a full-on mega plan to get a BFP this cycle after an unheard of 32 day cycle (poss anovulatory):
Grapefruit juice
Soy isoflavones today-CD6
EPO till ov
100mg B6
SMEP starting day 8 (but minus the OPK's)
SFF as much as poss

DH away 31st March to 12 April then my Dad coming to stay till 29th, so not much action then.

Off to to the health food shop...

I am feeling very ill and sorry for myself today. Got a horrible cold, complete with aches and sweats, snotters flying out of me! Had to leave a meeting I was chairing toady in front of over 20 people because I thought I was going to pass out. I am such a wuss without pills, some ibuprofen or cold and flu and I can normally soldier on.

Just read about Ladybee so sad to hear her news. Its so bloody unfair, I can't make sense of it. Life is so cruel at times.

Forgot to say big squeeze for battery. CD1 is truly rubbish My af has got heavier in months since mc too (was v light initially) so I think of it as a good thing. Fingers crossed for next cycle x

Well, results are in! I persuaded her to tell me over the phone - my number is 59.1. She then said, "oh but you need to see the table to know what it means" and I just about refrained from replying that I practically memorised that table a long time ago!

So I checked with my old notes and the table says a result of over 30 = defo pregnant. and 16-156 = 1 to 2 weeks. I think that is good enough to tell DH about.

Hope you get the the result soon mummya :) Just some reassurance, I only ever got super faint lines on the internet cheapies. I totally agree with the other ladies, you'll probably get a much stronger line with CB & FR...but strong line or faint line....a line is a line xxx

Thanks Ninunina I am actually still in denial waiting patiently for confirmation, because the line is very very feint and AF not due for 2 days. Should get blood results back soon and if its positive I will pop over to the mother thread to update the stats. Send my love to those that still know me xxx
