Orange thinking lots of positive thoughts for you, remember some women do bleed and have a healthy baby, it does happen, why couldn't it happen to you?

Not a lot of excitment going on here, tried to jolly myself up by telling another corner of mn that I hide in but doesn't really feel real. Bumped into one of the midwives who I saw with dd today znd had a quick word, she rang the other one that covered me and booked me straight into see her on thu. Haven't been to the docs, partly cause I was worried it would temp fate but also I guess I was expecting to be told off for it being so soon after the last one.

Mw1 said I need to tell mw2 about everything that happened around the time of mc. I do really like my mw and totally trust her, I know her surgery was full but she's going to see me anyway.

Just can't seem to get to the level of happiness that I think I should be at. Of course I am pleased very pleased, I thought I might never go through with getting of for the secong time cause I didn't know how it works with two. But I was ready. I keep thinking about my dad.

I don't know how to work out my dates with no period but I'm going to be due in sep aren't I?, thatS when my dads birthday is. Still haven't told mum and had said that when I was pg that I would tell her abouv last time but I'm not sure I can. Sorry for going on. Just don't have anyone to talk too.

Lots of positive vibes to you all x

Hello everyone and big hugs to orange and wombat...what a rollercoaster this all is...am willing everything to be OK for you both.

Gah MummyA what a terrible frustration . Is there any way round it?

Just to add to the general worry, I'm not feeling all that great and am a bit concerned there might be some aspects of the MC lingering...have a hospital appointment on Thursday and was hoping not to have to go back in but think I probably should now :(

Ladies with BFPS don't go anywhere...you give me hope!

PinkRabbitFood · 10/01/2011 21:54

mummya just a quickie but are you sure cd13 isn't too late in cycle for HSG? I need one next month but they told me it needs to be between day 7 and 10, 48 hours after no bleeding and no sex after cd1 (as if DH would be keen for that!! Boak! ) i guess it might vary from hospital to hospital though. also think you're good to swi straight after as soon as you're ready so hopefully not a write off.

orange sorry it's all so stressful, fingers crossed tis all ok!!

dachs really good Yo hear more follicles! That is great news!

knitter sorry you're not feeling great, hope to see you with a bfp soon

mamamp hoping for a bfp before your due date hun xx

Sorry for no more shout outs, only skimmed thread xx

Velvetcu · 10/01/2011 21:31

hi cep sorry you are getting anxious already. I was exactly the same, gave myself a time limit of due date and was stressed, obsessive and miserable until I reached that goal post. Now I'm past that, i'm still a little obsessive but not so miserable :)

Don't apologise for posting anything you are feeling - we have all been there so understand completely and it helps to get it off your chest.

Ladybee · 10/01/2011 21:31

oh ladies what a lot of worry.

Orange, Wombat I hope so much that everything works out for you both.

I've managed to get an appointment for Wednesday with consultant so hopefully can get meds sorted then.

Gah have work to do - need to stop MN-ing and get on with it.

(((((Un-MNetty-Hugs))))) to all.

cep · 10/01/2011 21:20

wombat uti's/bladder infections are v common during pregnancy.

mummya oh no i'm sorry how frustrating. did the london dr not get back to you at all then?? how rude.

velvet sorry nope absolutely awful at any type of science.

orange hope you're ok.

on a personal note, my af is due to leave over next couple of days, she's starting to pack her bags. all i've focused on is starting again and now it's nearly here i'm starting to get rather nervous. i'm worried about all the stressing about it, and worried it'll take longer than i have got. And mostly worried it'll all happen again. i know statistically i have no higher risk but i never thought it would happen to me in the first place. i'm sorry that this is rather pathetic considering everone elses worries and i'm only on cycle 1 so shouldn't really be worrying yet, but i am a worrier.

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 21:06

(although it was 10 years ago so i might be a bit rusty!)

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 21:05

Well I'm a tax accountant now but I've got an Astrophysics masters so if you have any questions I might be able to help with some of them...

Velvetcu · 10/01/2011 20:56

lol Dachs dont encourage me to buy HPTs you naughty lady! It just makes me wanna use them! I feel much calmer if I dont have any here (there are 2 here atm)

Wombat DH has already nicked my winnings!

Nix chart is here www.fertilityfriend.com/home/31a8bd not particularly interesting apart from definate ov this month opposed to last and my cycles are settling down nicely (about frikkin time!!) :)

MummyAbroad · 10/01/2011 20:51

Bugger. After one night of SWI I am going to have to go back on the WTTC list! I had no response from my doctor in London (I asked him to confirm that it was definitely OK to TTC) so I wrote to the best AS surgeon in the world, he replied this morning saying I should have an HSG and then a mid cycle scan before I go ahead and TTC.

Just got the HSG booked, but the earliest I could get is Thursday and I will be CD13 by then, so this month might be a right off.

Bugger Bugger Bugger Bugger.

kat2504 · 10/01/2011 20:10

orange that must be so hard still having bleeding but try, if you can, to hang on to the good news about the sac and the bloods being really good. I also had no bleeding and still lost the baby, many people bleed and are fine. Really really hope that it is a good outcome for you. It must be so hard waiting I'm sure.

nickstermum · 10/01/2011 20:04

Wombat was it you who had the staph infection after mc? could it have re-occurred? would it be worth havig a vaginal swab done? I have had 3 diff infections since MC :(

Wombat33 · 10/01/2011 19:46

Ooh velvet £30's pretty good! Are you going to treat yourself to something nice?

Doc thinks I may have a UTI Hmm (bear in mind this is the doc who tested me 3 times for UTIs because of pain after my mc but never found anything...). On the upside I haven't had more brown since earlier. I am v sore down below though. Maybe it is infection? Anyone got any idea if that's common?

He's also going to try and arrange an 8 wk scan. Only 3 weeks to go. Can't begin to believe I'll get that far but we'll see!

nickstermum · 10/01/2011 19:21

can you post your chart velvet?

orange tis true.. a friend of mine was hospitalised for a week due to excess bleeding during pg... baby;s fine. I didnt bleed at all, and MC! Goes to show, you never can tell!

Ooh velvet 30 quid, you will be up for the jackpot next month...

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 18:56

plenty of HPTs you can buy with £30... Wink

Velvetcu · 10/01/2011 18:54

lol Izz I wouldnt bother with the suspenders - temps have gone down to post-ov level so I dont think its my month.

On the plus side, I won £10 on the lottery on sat - thats £30 this month so far :)

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 10/01/2011 18:31

velvet 15dpo sounds perfectly reasonable!! Why would you wait longer? Remember the "average" lp is 14 days so for many people 15dpo would mean af is late.

Btw - and so I can get my suspenders on - which day do you get to 15dpo?

Velvetcu · 10/01/2011 18:07

orange sorry you are bleeding it must be tough just waiting :(

Congrats on the follie growth Dachs

YRMOTB I promised myself I wouldn't POAS until at least 4 days late but I have found myself wondering if 15 dpo (next weekend) is ok! Dont let me do it!!

Wombat as everyone says - brown is ok (not that I know anything about successful pgs)

Hi to everyone else!

OrangeGloss · 10/01/2011 16:58

Thanks guys, the dr said don't worry if I bleed again as she's seen women lose loads and been fine. Doesn't stop it getting to me though. My scan's on 23rd as she thinks it'll give it lots if time to grow

Wombat33 · 10/01/2011 16:34

Oh Orange. I'm willing it to stop. You poor thing. When's your next check-up/scan/blood test?

cep · 10/01/2011 16:30

oh Orange i'm so sorry you're still getting the blood. Please try and listen to dh and izzy. Did you talk to the dr again? will they do another scan? Put your feet up and try to rest.

nickstermum · 10/01/2011 16:29

(((ORANGE))) :( feet up xxx

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 16:27

oh orange sweetie,

I have my FX that it is not as bad as you fear, but I know that no amount of us saying that will make you feel any better. I hope you have lots of real life support at the moment and I'd demand some more medical attention if you need it. We are all thinking of you.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 10/01/2011 16:25

(((( orange )))) hang on in there!!!! Keep reminding yourself the sac was there, measuring correctly, your bloods were fantastic..it can and probably will be ok. Take it easy and get some rest...we're all thinking of you and willing on bean orange x

OrangeGloss · 10/01/2011 16:14

((( Wombat ))) if it's any consolation my dr at epu said some women can bleed "buckets" and be fine, or not have any and end in mc. I think a too-early scan could make things worse, from what I've read 8 weeks is a good time. Fx dr puts your mind at ease. And try not to google - easier said than done
Dachs that's fab news, some there already and others nearly ready, sounds good for Friday. Do you have anything planned for the weekend to take your mind off their progress?
YRMOTB good work on the free stuff :)

We went to see The King's Speech at 12.30, and I nipped into the loo before it started, and had a pad full of red :( and was in such a state we had to go home. DH kept reminding me what the dr said about it not necessarily being a sign, but all my earlier zen has gone now. I feel like I'm waiting to mc :(
