Hi all well I went on got some tests with the good intention of holding off, but couldn't help myself and got BFN:(
they were tesco value ones which say you can use from first day of missed period, but do think the bleeding I've had is turning into AF I'm cd 27 so due anyday from tomorrow to Friday. Feeling a bit fed up which is silly as when I started trying I wanted a winter baby so still got plenty of time, good luck to everyone else x

cep · 01/02/2011 16:20

vegas hey hon, sorry for the bfn, see what happens on due day.

sevendwarves · 01/02/2011 16:06

Sorry Vegas.

Disappointed faces all round today then. Does anyone have any good news?

that should say "just had"!!!

goingmadtrying · 01/02/2011 13:21

Good afternoon ladies well still no AF and a little bit of spotting, just a 2 hr 5 minute nap on the sofa with a little man!!! could this be a sign!!!tomorrow will be 28 days so not sure whether to get a test for in the morning what do you all think?

sevendwarves · 01/02/2011 12:14

Sorry ellan, I wouldn't rule it out yet though, not before AF is due.

I also tested this morning and got another BFN. 16dpo and AF due today. Still no PMS symptoms though so I don't know what's going on. I expect AF will creep up on me when I least expect it!

kateepie2 · 01/02/2011 09:14

vegas my DP wasn't all that engaged with it first couple of cycles, but I think its just because he wasn't that knowledgeable about the whole process (I mean the intricacies of things), I've slowly been trickling through bits and pieces of info, and he's now much more interested. I started charting this month, and he always wants to know if its up or down and what that means, so I think that has helped too.

DH is probably just worried about you - mine was a bit like that too! Wink

ellangirl · 01/02/2011 08:15

No, they don't! Thank goodness they can't see these forums :o
Thanks for the glimmer of hope goingmadtrying, but I'm pretty convinced.
Best of luck to anyone left to test!
Ellan x

Although your AF hasn't yet arrived so still a glimmer of hope :)

ellangirl · 01/02/2011 07:46

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm just not looking forward to another month of people saying, 'So, when are you having another one then?'- mental note made to never say that to anyone!!

Big hugs for you ellangirl

I've got a bfn this morning at 13dpo, 2 days before af due so it looks like i'm out. So disappointed because it means it's nearly a year. DS took a year and a half- gave up trying properly with him in the end and got pregnant, but it seems harder this time because we already have a baby so we know it must be possible! DH has strong views about not wanting to see a doctor so we'll just have to carry on as we are...

goingmadtrying · 01/02/2011 07:36

Good luck with your wedding queenrollo, I got married in July it was fantastic, have lots of fun :)

goingmadtrying · 01/02/2011 07:34

Well definately feel like the dreaded AF is on it's way although no sign just yet, feeling really dispondant today :(

sevendwarves · 31/01/2011 23:08

Ooh that's getting close! Hope you have a great day!

queenrollo · 31/01/2011 21:27

26th of Feb Smile and my dress it fitted so if i am pregnant I hope i don't bloat too much in the early weeks!

sevendwarves · 31/01/2011 20:50

When's your wedding queenrollo?

I'm a bridesmaid for my friend in June, so may well be a 5-month pregnant bridesmaid!

queenrollo · 31/01/2011 20:20

I haven't been around for a while. Really not been thinking about TTC this cycle. Pretty sure i ov'd last friday but only SWI 2 days before and yesterday so not holding out much hope here for a BFP. Will be just my luck to get a BFP this time and spend my wedding day fighting morning sicknessGrin

sevendwarves · 31/01/2011 20:14

thinking thats the trouble though isn't it? Once you decide you seriously want a baby, you WANT a baby, not in 9 months plus however long it takes to conceive!

I know you probably don't get as many possible chances with a donor but general advice is to have sex every other day when ttc, which is only 3-4 times during the fertile phase anyway.

Also if we're unlucky this month, I've worked out I should be most fertile from 14-18 Feb. We're moving on the 16th so probably won't get much chance next month either!

Thinking11 · 31/01/2011 19:42

it does make me feel better thanks sevendwarves, i just fear that because im doing AI with donor sperm its going to take months and months.

Its taken me years to finally make the decesion to do this and I dont want to wait months and months now.
