Some people might need to rummage a bit more to check their EWCM - others are lucky and it's easily spotted!

Have found a thermometer on ebay for about £2 so will buy one methinks.

I hardly seem to get any EWCM - or maybe I do and I am rubbish at recognising it! P'raps I should drink a bit more grapefruit juice and see if that helps a bit.

the only positive (if you can call it that) from my M/C is that it seems to have reset my cycles, before i got preg i was somewhere between 19-32 days! now I am 29 days ov on day 18 with an 11 day LP so hoping that with everything settled it will happen soon. I got my af on christmas day and was so down I had had my heart set on being preg again before the end of the year. It seems that the world and her sister are expecting theese days! Hate having to be so fake in work when collegues annouce their "happy accidents" inside im screaming IYKWIM? Anyhoo moan over onwards and upwards and all that.

On the subject of CM it has to strech more than a couple on cm to be EW, you are most fertile on the last day of it (very helpful!!) I only get it for 2 days.

We've been TTC for about a year now and have had some unluckiness but I feel a little optomism now 2011 has arrived and I just hope this year is a good un.

We already have DS so are extremely lucky. It's really DP's wish that we have another LO although it's highly unlikely since I can't seem to make it past the first couple of weeks and I am over 35 so trying to be a little more wary (impossible!) of overly spotting symptoms or getting too excited about things.

mrsb my DP and I have been together since I was 15! Met him when I was 14. Competitive is good, keep him going and you'll be up the duff before you know it lol!!
I'm going to try grapefruit juice, apparently it helps you produce more ewcm for the little swimmers. Since I come off the pill (tmi alert!) there has definitly been a lot More cm down there so def smoother ride!
Oh DP just read some of these posts when I nipped to the loo and the look on his face when I came back was priceless!! I asked him what was up and he looked so confused asking what SWI meant and what ttc meant and asked if I had a special dictionary to read these posts, bless him. I just told him he doesn't want to know, so he said all he has to do is stick it in and DTD and his job Is done. Haha!!

i got mine off amazon, pretty easy, just typed in ov sticks and just got the cheapest deal, they are the same ones as you get in asda, not a paticular brand. There are £5 for 30 so pretty cheap.

I haven't tested yet, i am going to wait until the 4/5th to test, i just feel like i will jinx it if i test too early and i don't wanna do that, not long to go i suppose the only problem is i am on 3 days off after tonight so the thought is just going to consume me for them!

weve SWI twice already today, my dh has just popped upstairs (where ive been recovering from last nights drinking, all day) and asked if i want to do it again!!?? His more obsessed then me!!! Like i said b4 his a dirty boy!!!

Hi mrsb woohoo yep get SWI now! The eggwhile cm helps the little swimmers up to the egg and provides nourishment for them.
SWI means Shagging with intent - love that phrase!
I only use cheapies from eBay so 2 a day for me too :).

I'll back up the frustrated feeling, AF should be here on the 4/1 (provided i have a 28 day cyclie, they are all over place) but i have had no PM symptoms, like none at all, last cycle length was 28 days but i had PM symptoms for a week before. I have had no mood swings, no PMT, no cramps etc. All i can think about is what if, what if, what if and it is driving me INSANE.

Hi mrsS welcome! Sorry af got you. Af got me yesterday so I am now on cycle 6. I totally understand being upset, I cried uncontrollably yesterday when af arrived.

Well... Where to start... I think usually assuming you have a 14 day luteal phase (the time after OV to the day before next af) you would OV on cd16. But that can vary. For example last cycle I ov'd on cd16 but only had a 11day LP so my cycle was 27 days.
You could either just go for the natural approach and try SWI every other day from before expected OV to a few days after expected OV and see where that gets you? Or you could buy some ovulation sticks. You can get like 50 for about £8 on eBay and do them from maybe cd12 and when you get a positive you usually OV 12-48 hours after.

thanks i wish, excuse tmi, its gone from creamy to slightly egg white, stretchy today so i think day 12,13 maybe the days!! Im using to ov sticks aday at the moment its a good job there just amazon cheapies...
