btw next AF will be due 6th Feb xx

Karbea · 13/01/2011 13:18

Hello Smile

i've just (today) fallen off the Sept bus after having loads of symptoms, and finally ended up coming on 2 days early Confused anyway...

This will be our second month of trying for our first baby, ave cycle length 24days.

Good to meet you all, and hello again to those who fell off Sept bus before me! xx

PrincessScrumpy · 13/01/2011 12:57

Oooops, looks like I need to jump off. Turns out the spotting I had on Tuesday and Wednesday weren't a period. Just checked my dates and I was due on Tuesday, so I've done a test and it's positive.

Now, if only dh would get out of his bloody meeting so I can tell him! 1st time round I was more patient and felt it important we were together - now I'm just glad to go to the loo without dd coming too! Grin

Good luck to everyone else. Lots of love xx

PrincessScrumpy · 13/01/2011 12:04

cep: hotel's in Stratford Upon Avon area and DH will play golf while I have a spa treatment. Sounds lovely - think golf may be his motive as he rarely gets to play these days, but I'm happy to pretend it's all for me! Grin

Newgolddream · 13/01/2011 11:51

sevendwarves and arabella36 - thank you! As I said AF day is always the worst eh..... Anyway I will keep my fingers crossed for you, will update my stats to later when I get home from work on the pc, im on my phone just now.

Hi and welcome bumps, not sure about opks as you are on early cycles, im quite irregular but now im on my 7th cycle ttc I can start to know when to start. Do you know. How long your LP is?

arabella36 · 13/01/2011 11:15

Sorry AF arrived newgold.

Hello to everyone else on here this morning.

bumps - hello and welcome. I'm not sure which day you should start POAS, I would tend to start a little earlier on the off-chance that it was a slightly shorter cycle that month. Others may have different advice though.

I'm 3-4 DPO and I feel suspicious that I might be pregnant. I've had a little nausea, a lot of tiredness and a dull ache reminiscent of mild period pains since yesterday. If it turns out that I'm not then I'll know next month not to read too much into these symptoms next time! It seems unlikely I'd have any symptoms so early.

Bumpsadaisie · 13/01/2011 10:59

Hi there, could I join off the September bus?

Bumpsadaisie, TTC#2, Cycle 2 ,UCL 29-31, CD 3 at the moment.

Last month was our first month of trying and it was quite wierd, period was 8 days late (AF is just leaving today).

Thinking of using OPKs again this month. Do you think I should just assume that this month my cycle will be 29-31 days as usual and start using OPKs about day 13?

Cheers
Bumps x

hiddenme · 13/01/2011 10:16

justshagging Not great timing, but I find these things are typical.
I came off the pill when ttc DC2 5 months before our wedding as it took 11 months to ttc Dc1. Typically, I fell pregnant straight away and was 22 weeks pregnant when we got married

sevendwarves · 13/01/2011 10:14

Sorry newgolddream, that'll teach me not to refresh! I think the dates on the stats are a bit muddled anyway so I wouldn't worry about moving yourself but just update yours.

sevendwarves · 13/01/2011 10:11

Hi to all of the new ladies.

newgolddream just remember it's not over until AF arrives!

yoshimi have you tested yet?

Newgolddream · 13/01/2011 09:36

Morning everyone - guess who had visited when I got up this morning? Gutted. But first day is always the worst, onwards and upwards now! Because of my short cycles im still here to. That makes another 24 day cycle but since FF said I ov on CD 8 a LP of 16 days, doesnt seem normal for me. Any suggestions, do you think its all right or im wondering if something is wrong because I was under the impression your LP length was fairly consistent between cycles?

Hi there justshaggingfornow

Morning innocentredhead, im off to buy opks now since im back at the start. Quick question, im new here, do I change my position on the stats list, confused what to do lol.

JustShaggingForNow · 13/01/2011 08:01

cep - sorry to hear about your mc.

JustShaggingForNow · 13/01/2011 07:59

hi cep

Thanks for the welcome. The holidays are a ski trip in March (when if I got a BFP then I would be 10 weeks) and a 2.5 week trip to India in April/May (17-19 weeks) so I am a bit concerned. Think a ski trip may be a bit unwise and the India trip would be quite stressful as I'm sure DH would be constantly worrying that something would go wrong!!!!

I'm also running my 1st half marathon at the start of March......

don't think the timing could be worse!! AF due on 21 Jan so still another week to go before I can test!

InnocentRedhead · 13/01/2011 06:31

Morning everyone, Just a quick check in to see how everyone is doing? I am so glad i'm normal lol!

Chilled out a bit now, not really in a 2ww or anything just next step is to start using ov stick!

GOOD LUCK TO YOSHIMI - may be getting our first BFP on the bus.
Anyone heard from Tallie, she's at the top of the list and haven't heard if AF arrived for her?

I've decided i am not gonna chart this month but will use Ov sticks and just know all my dates, next month will be a diff story, gonna start temping, charting, the lot!

Newgolddream · 12/01/2011 22:07

Sorry to hear about your mc, had you been ttc long before that?

Im not obsessive by temping (yet!) its just Im 40, work ful time and would probably kill myself dtd all over the place lol so I need a bit of help!,

And with OV generally being around CD10-12, my plan was like yours - DTD every 2 days, so I DTD on CD 8 this month -- exactly when temps rose, so may have caught it.

If my cycle is 24 days this month AF will be due tomorrow but if it goes to my highest 28 days, not till Monday.

Just dont get this long LP thing, unless of course I didnt ov on CD 8 at all.

cep · 12/01/2011 21:55

new know how you feel, my cycles changed every month so now first since mc no idea where i am, and am a bit concerned but will see what happens. Have you tried working it out without ff??

i tend to just use my diary as to when my af's start. and have used baby hopes ov calendar to predict dates. as i've said before i used longest and shortest cycles and plan to dtd every 2 days over the period.

When would you expect af to start??

Newgolddream · 12/01/2011 21:46

Oh sorry cep Blush - FF is Fertility Friend website, basically plots my temperatures and CM - and then puts in lines when it thinks you have ov, generally accurate by looking at my temps. No idea how to put a link to my chart or I would.

Basically Ive had the mirena in for a few years got it out in August last year and had a 36 day cycle before AF came, but that doesnt count really.

Since then my cycles have been 24, 22, 28, and 22 days with LPs being 13, 10, 11, and 12.(well according to FF)

And then we have this cycle - temperature rise indicates ov on CD 8, Im now on CD 24 and no sign of AF. Obviously she will come as I got a BFN - but I thought your LP was generally about the same length so this ones awfully long, wish I knew what was going on? [confused.

It would be great of we could see inside our bodies wouldnt it. Grin

cep · 12/01/2011 21:34

new i'm not sure what ff is.... tell me your history, how long is your cycle normally? were you on the pill?? etc

welcome emsiedoodle

emsiedoodle · 12/01/2011 21:01

Hello ladies can I hop on board? I was on the September bus but AF caught up with me today so here we are with a glass of wine in hand and a heap of chocolates :)

Emsiedoodle TTC#2 Cycle 5 UCL 32 AF due 12 Feb

Newgolddream · 12/01/2011 20:56

Hi everyone

Well today is CD 24 and BFN, according to FF I normally ov around CD 10-12 with a LP of 10-13 so this cycle has threw me - does anyone have any ideas because FF says I ov on CD8 - which makes me 16 DPO!!

Somethings not right - my LP has never been this long - and if I was pregnant it would def be a BFP by 15 DPO surely - help!

cep · 12/01/2011 20:28

welcome jsfn what types of holiday?? you can still fly that early in pregnancy. Know how you feel about dh not being on board yet, my dh doesn't really want another one but knows i really do so here we are.

welcome princess oooh you lucky thing. where abouts is the hotel?

welcome mrsclh yes there are lots of obsessed ladies here. Grin

arabella i think it's normally about 5 days or so for implantation isn't it?? see how things progress.

moray when do you normally get af signs??

vegas i've been told not to dtd as often as everyday as the little fellas don't get the time to rejuvenate but every other day is ok. Have fun. Wink Grin

Sorry if i've missed anyone, hope you're all ok.

I'm new to all this so not sure if this is right but here goes...

TTC#1 Cycle 1 CD29 UCL 33 days

NOSPOSF = 1
(Number of sticks peed on so far - hahahaha!)

Comforting to know that there are plenty of other obsessed ladies out there!!

JustShaggingForNow · 12/01/2011 15:58

Hi All

I've accidentally got on the wrong buss IYSWIM and am half way through the 2WW to see if I'm staying on here or getting off at the next stop to wait and board the Jan/Feb bus...... Am going a bit mad with the symptom spotting.

Currently CD21 with a UCL of 27-35
SWI on CD10 as I usually OV on CD19 no matter how long my cycle is. HOwever this time I OVd 5 days early on CD14!!! OMG!

DH not on board yet and 2 very pregnancy unfriendly holidays booked in March and April so a little anxious about the outcome!

MorayRose · 12/01/2011 15:34

TEST Yoshimi

GOOD LUCK!

AF due next week and I haven't had any of my normal symptoms. I'm trying not to build my hopes up. I'm in such a good mood, no PMS at all. Weird.

I've been laughing at all DH comments. Mine just wants to wait and see what happens and doesn't want me to get obsessed with this... what he doesn't know is that it's too late Smile
