I'd like to think that after all we've been through that she would tell me. I suspect that her motives are based around her knowing what I will think of this to be honest. She told me last time before she got PG that she'd stopped her pill but not told her H . I know he didn't want anymore then, and that hasn't changed so this will have been another 'accident'. And after I sat with her in tears for hours when she was ttc her first with him and his sperm analysis was not good......

Sorry you're not having a good time Bex, but lets hope the doctors can do something to help you.

I can't believe your friend didn't tell you! Maybe she was trying to wait for the 'right time' but surely it would've been better to sit you down and explain?
I have no RL friends that I know of ttc atm, last one announced bfp a month ago, but I have a friend who took 3 years ttc dc#1 whose been supporting me. She's got pcos and is convinced I do too. That and advice for here keeps me going and has persuaded me to seek further advice. Feeling a bit despondent about ttc now I've realised I'm probably not ovulating every month :(

thanks bex - i feel DH is obviously worried that the reason for no PG so far is because something is wrong with him. I've reached a point where I just want answers but am really scared that it won't be good news. i already have a DS, but I know DH wants a child of his own and I really want us to have a child together. This week i've been very emotional trying to figure out how I will cope if we can't do this.

Had a minor meltdown in town last week when i bumped into my oldest friends DH and he started talking about her scan and getting baby stuff together again - I had no idea she was pregnant she hasn't phoned me (32 years of friendship, and we've been through some hell together). Maybe she didn't know how to tell me, but it's worse that I found out this way. It's her 4th and to be honest I'm quite annoyed at her. It's complicated, but i do feel justifed in thinking 'why her and not me'.........

I have one other friend who has been TTC 2 years now and so I do at least have one RL friend who I can pick up the phone and talk to. In fact so much doesn't even need to be said - we both know how hard this is.

Hope it's good news queenrollo. I believe it's more about the quality and motility of the sperm than quantity but I don't know much tbh. Dh has his next month (which may have motivated him to agree to all the swi, hoping for a bfp next month so he doesn't have to go!).

evening all. Well DH dropped his sample off at the hospital yesterday morning. Was told results will be with GP tomorrow but of course it's Bank Holiday so we'll probably have to wait until next week to get them. Does anyone know how we interpret the results? I'd like to be able to check it myself as sometimes GP's seem a bit ambivalent about these things if they are borderline.

Yeh I liked the one female Gp who seemed on.the ball about the stuff. I often get nausea/ vomiting for 1-2 weeks before hand.

you've probably read this before but if not it might help? Maybe ask the receptionist if any of the gp's specialise in fertility/ hormones etc? Do you often get the nausea/ vomiting before your period?

Right that's the thing they did my day 3 tests on 21. Also am quite overweight. Starting to think to could have pcos cos I have quite a few of the symptoms.
I'll get checked out cos I'm having upper abdomen pain on and off as well. Will ask for day 3 bloods I think.
Day 21 came back as 15, 20 and 25. 25 was the one I had my first month of charting where I had a clear peak and got them done 7 dpo. Two charts with no clear peak in a row has me concerned. Wonder if nausea.is unrelated but still needs investigating.

I still think you should get checked out, seems odd that building up to af makes you feel so rotten that is has made you sick. And yes, make your dh a busy man next month! What bloods have you had done? I remeber you saying you day 21 came back just under 30? Is that right? Have you had day 3 tests too?

Interestingly not been sick since temp.dropped, maybe it's psychological. Suffering pain wise but ok emotionally. Always next month hey?!

he's good thanks bex, he was randomly sick on monday night but thats it so i wonder if it was the heat? other than that we were basically out all weekend so was v enjoyable.
how are you today? was your temp up or down? I'm guessing it must be driving you mad! If you don't get your bfp then I think you should go to the docs and see what it could be thats making you poorly.

Grr bfn this am. Temp dipped and now FF has decided I probably didn't ovulate at all this cycle!! Aargh! We weren't even really trying this month but the sex we did have appeared to be around the time I 'ovulated' so along with 17 high temps I naturally had my hopes up. Now I have to contend with the prospect of two cycles with no clear ovulation pattern! Raaaaaah!
Af hasn't even arrived yet, just want it over with so we can really go for it this cycle!

So it's been very quiet over the weekend, hope it's because everyone's having so much fun!
Update for me. Am cd27, usually 27 cycle but last two were 26. Have had 17 temps above coverline (eek!) but got bfn this am. If temp still up will test again in am. If it drops, will assume it's game over. Am being sick everyday and feel shattered. If not upduffed, will be going to Gp to investigate this. Trying to be positive but not over excited (yeah I'm blatantly getting carried away!).

It's oh so quiet...

Ah happily feeling ok.now. have long weekend but Dh is working today keeping self busy cleaning nursery spare room which mover got tacklef after the rewire. Lots of stuff to easy so happy it's nice weather to get stuff dry!

Poor you that sucks. But yes sit on your hands till af arrives. Hope you get some time off over easter and stop feeling sick long enough to enjoy it
