result was 8! which amazingly just about tallies with what it should be since the last one if it does indeed half every 48 hours!! that is the first time it has done what it is supposed to have done one more test i reckon - i am so glad. how bizarre - to be so chuffed that pregnancy signs and symptoms are not present

well, still having beta blood tests, at least the morning sickness and sore boobs have settled down, hopefully it was the last one this morning. have started bleeding AGAIN too (bleed for a week, stop for a week, bleed, stop, bleed, etc), but if the beta has gone right down it may actually be a period - that would be a novelty at the minute wouldn't it? have stinking period pain, but i would be grateful if it was the end to this sorry state of affairs, and it was actually day 1.

rant over, off to cook tea for dd and her school friend... tis the first time she has had someone over - how cute

Nope mummy onboard...not pcos according to the gp as can't see anything but only no ovulation wrong with me! But I've got a lot of the symptoms and have ceoliacs which I've read can be a factor. The lovely woman who did my scan told me I had very flat straight insides which I think is my only plus point !!!

New to all this, having real problems-is there room for me.ttc for about 18 months, had a positive test in august then it all fell apart, to top it all been told by gp now not ovulating and possibly ovulation doesn't happen that often!!periods are over 50 days apart now :-( waiting for hospital appointment, so no clomid yet :-(

To add to it, 2 friends are pregnant...one with twins!if one more person tells me to relax and my time will come you may see me on the news!!!! I'll take my sip of gin now!

I have Ashermans, I live in Costa Rica and over the last year have seen 5 very crap doctors and had lots of very crap treatments for conditions I didnt have (PCOS, Molar Pregnancy, pulmonary embolism) before finally flying to London to get treated by an AS specialist. I have one DS and one MMC under my belt.

I have just finished six weeks of high dose HRT which I survived quite well until last night when I decided to have a filthy row with DH and now I am being stubborn and refusing to make up I am nearly at the end of treatment and in a few days will be able to TTC (if I still have a DH then!) but have been told that the best chances are if we conceive within three months, after that chances drop off massively and I will probably need more treatment in England - which I cant afford

Hello, can I join? 36 ttc #1 and have just merrily drunk my way through christmas on the back of Clomid, I presume I've just ovulated as my left ovary has apparently been laying a duck egg for the last two days..........

Is it wrong to have just taken folic acid with final glass of wine before the january detox????

Hi, dd is 11, ds is 7. dd is a clomid baby but ds was natural. Quite a surprise as I was told that it was unlikely that I would ever fall pregnant without help.

Hi, is there room in your hut for me. nearly 3 years of ttc for dc3. Unexplained infertility.

4 rounds of clomid, became pregnant but miscarried at 8 weeks. That was 3 weeks ago.

Giving up hope. If I am told to relax one more time I will kill someone. Also fed up with being told I am lucky I have 2 dc already and that I am prob too old (am 39).

I have 12 mths worth of nhs treatment left. Have now booked expensive holiday for August.

That is a very insensitive comment, am flabbergasted by the number of people who trot that one out.
I, for one, would have rather found out that I can conceive by the safe delivery of a baby. A miscarriage is not the way any of us wanted to discover this ability.

Another one that is dumb is " you can try again". Well yes of course I can. I can have sex whenever I want you daft idiots.

And if it only happened when "the time is right" there would be no unplanned teenage pregnancies etc.
