wave I am lurking!

NinjaChipmunk · 24/05/2011 22:12

hi bex, did you get your bloods done today? when do you get your results?

hope everyone is well, am on cd14 today and have managed swi on days 10, 11, 12 and 13. Tonight and tomorrow are out as dp is away but my ewcm seems to have disappeared so am hoping I have done enough. May try to swi tomorrow is dp comes home early enough but don't know when his flight lands. Now for the wait..............

Bexamundo · 24/05/2011 21:11

Who knows what's going on with our bodies (hmm accidently predicative text typed in 'babies' then!). My flow has all but stopped, pain still bad!
hairy in case you're lurking but not posting, thinking of you!
piglet, how's things? Hoping the bean is still sticky.

queenrollo · 23/05/2011 20:11

well i've had a very heavy but much shorter period than usual......only two days of proper AF, it's usually a 5 dayer for me. My hormones are obviously up the creek at the moment.....

Good news bex that your on the road to hopefully getting some answers.

NinjaChipmunk · 23/05/2011 19:19

Glad to hear your gp agrees and seems to want to do stuff quickly. Maybe it. Will throw some light on the painful periods. What you experience certainly warrants some investigating. Let us know how you get on.
Will be back later, %it to get ds ready for bed.

Bexamundo · 23/05/2011 15:44

Relatively good news. GP agrees with me, don't appear to be ovulating regularly. Going to refer me for ultrasound and fertility clinic appt. Also will check bloods for fsh/lh on cd3 and testosterone levels (will do that tomorrow). More emotional than I expected but relieved I'm moving forward.
Currently cd2 and in agony. Seems ironic to suffer so much due to period when body isn't even producing as it should!

queenrollo · 21/05/2011 08:37

AF finally deigned to put in appearance late last night. Actually OK with it as it's better than the wait and uncertainty of long cycles.

Bexamundo · 20/05/2011 21:21

Welcome mazg. Would you like a drink? [Starts shaking cocktail shaker vigorously!]
I am cd24, ?14dpo. Gone from cynicism to curiosity this cycle. Continue to wait and see...

mazg · 20/05/2011 18:40

Hi girls,

Can I join you all? I am Maz, I have one DD (about to turn 3), PCOS and a couple of years of TTC under my belt. I am, as I am sure you'll understand, getting quite sick of it.

Oh and AF came today ;-)

Hoping to start treatment soon but next appointment not til July. Sigh.

xxxxx

Bexamundo · 18/05/2011 22:03

Good stuff piglet! Keep us posted.
I've been feeling rubbishy, very weepy, crampy, achey. Temp dropped this morning, the evil witch is on her way. I'm off to the Gp re my cycles and ?not ovulating regularly.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/05/2011 21:57

glad to hear it piglet, lovely news.

pigletmania · 18/05/2011 21:27

hi Ninja I am fine Smile no bleeding or signs of MC so far fx. How are you all today, any good news from anyone.

NinjaChipmunk · 18/05/2011 21:04

hello!

how is everyone today? tentative congratulations for hairy and piglet, has anyone heard from either of them?
queenrollo sorry to hear you feeling so down, but I think its always better to let it out than keep it in. At least that way you are actually dealing with what you are feeling.
bex, sorry you think af is on her way, will keep fingers crossed for you.
jazzy welcome!

well i'm on cd8 so feeling all positive and about to start the swi for the month. I've also come to the conclusion I cannot take my drink at all these days, went out last night, had 2 (admittedly largish) wines and have felt like crap all day! ah well, back to abstinence i guess?

jazzy283 · 18/05/2011 19:32

lol sod em all i say lol lol

Bexamundo · 18/05/2011 19:05

Welcome jazzy. Yes indeed other people. Most people don't know we're ttc so I get "isn't it your turn now?".....need I say more!

queenrollo · 18/05/2011 18:30

welcome jazzy good luck for this month Smile

i'm going to start carrying a fish in my handbag for hitting people who do the relax/it'll happen when the time is right/have you tried xyz.....

jazzy283 · 18/05/2011 17:58

Hi all im just joining in on this thread as im fed up being told its takes most people over a year to fall or you just need to relax, dont try as hard!!!! i have have been ttc for 8 months this is my 9th we have had the bloods DH had sperm test all ok so why is this soooo frigging hard!!! started using CBFM this mth and got a high today so FX for this month :)

Bexamundo · 18/05/2011 16:10

It is possible, my Gp said most women have a couple of anovulatory cycles a year.
I cried on Dh this morning. Temp has dropped, the evil witch is on her way. The cynical approach has guarded me against getting too excited therefore not quite as disappointed as I have been previously. Still gutted esp since Dh has his appt so next month is a write off. Feel much the same as what you're describing above, very sad, wondering when it will all end? Why is it taking so long? I'm going to book an appt with my Gp and demand more investigations!

queenrollo · 18/05/2011 10:14

still no AF. think maybe i didn't ovulate this month?
I sobbed all over DH yesterday, and moped around feeling really sorry for myself. He tried his best but I don't think he really knew what to do yesterday, all he can do is say he loves me no matter what happens, and I do know that but it's just the frustration.
Confirmation of appt came today, so i just have to sit tight for that.

Bexamundo · 17/05/2011 22:50

Sorry quennie. I suppose the only comfort is knowing it's not indefinite any more, at least you know when your appt is going to be. Irregular cycles are a nightmare aren't they? I thought I'd settled at 26 days so a 28 day cycle last month had me in a right tizz! Maybe that's something the specialist can help with?

queenrollo · 17/05/2011 09:05

oh. I found a pregnancy test at the back of the bathroom cupboard while tidying it yesterday.
5.30 this morning i woke up feeling sick, still no AF so I POAS and BFN Sad
I knew it would be, and of course I'm sad not have a positive but what I feel more upset about is that this means my cycles are starting to go all wonky again. I cope much better with AF arriving every month, but on time than I do with the endless waiting to see when it'll happen.

I just want to cry. I don't want to do this anymore. I want my life back.

Bexamundo · 17/05/2011 07:36

hairy how are things?

Bexamundo · 16/05/2011 18:58

Good to hear you're appt came through quickly. I'm very much of the attitude I'm.not putting my life on hold either. I'm seriously working on losing weight/getting fit because I'm almost certain I have pcos but regardless of diagnosis I suspect my weight is not helping our fertility!

queenrollo · 16/05/2011 08:24

Postman has just been and I have my first appt at the infertility dept at the Hospital on the 16th June. So not too long to wait - though of course I have holiday booked in June and July so i can see me not beng able to get any tests done until August!

But you can't put your life on hold for this......

queenrollo · 16/05/2011 08:16

bex we've been doing loads to our house too. Kitchen is on the agenda but we've run out of money - other more boring important jobs kept coming up.

Well still no AF for me. Day 33 today, the usual length for me over the last six months. Stil none of my usual signs. Most noticeably my mood, i usually get really grumpy in the few days before she shows up. However this morning i have sore/tingly nipples Hmm

I am not going to test. It'll be just my luck that my hormones are up the spout and my irregular cycles are back......and I can't face the crushing disappointment of a BFN Sad

Why are our bodies so cruel....
