you know you made me realise that I haven't asked dp if he is coming with me to ours yet! I think probably he should.
good for you for filling the info in, maybe take a list of any questions you have too? When is your appointment?

queenrollo · 09/06/2011 12:28

i've put it as irregular and have just written a word doc listing dates and cycle length since i came off the pill. Have also written a bit about conceiving DS as technically i didn't have problems conceiving him (no intervention) but had completely irregular and long cycles also pointing out that they were fine in the two years after i had him when i wasn't on BCP.
I suppose i can go prepared with this extra info, and it's up to them if they want to take it into account.

I was actually shaking after i filled the form in Hmm feel a bit silly about that but this is one of those

NinjaChipmunk · 09/06/2011 12:04

If you want to talk to them about your periods I would put it down as irregular, surely then they are more likely to ask you at the appointment? Not sure what they will ask tbh as my appt is not till July.

queenrollo · 09/06/2011 10:27

ok i got a questionaire in the post this morning along with a letter which states we have both been referred. It's a good job DH had already booked the day off work, as up til now all letters have been addressed to and referred to only me.Hmm

It doesn't give me room to discuss my irregular periods, only asks if they are regular or not. I suppose i should answer no as the last period was 6 days late?

This is confusing and not helping my anxiety Sad

queenrollo · 09/06/2011 09:06

Feeling nervous about my appt next week. DH announced last night that he's got the day off work and that he wants to come with me.

Any ideas what will happen at this appt? I'm assuming they'll ask about my cycles (got 17 months worth written down thankfully). I've not had any blood tests so assuming they'll want to book those and typically i'll be away on holiday on the right days - potentially it could be August before I can get them done.

NinjaChipmunk · 07/06/2011 21:56

Grin yay to your dh! thats sounds very positive, off to bed in a mo, have a good night y'all x

havealittlefaithbaby · 07/06/2011 21:51

Hello onemorning [waves enthusiastically and accepts a drink from ninjachipmunk. Drains glass then smiles].
Off to see GP tomorrow to get official.chat about improving DH's swimmers. He has been.googling 'improving sperm motility' and is keen to start putting it into practice. Lmao though he said 'I should be having zinc/this that and the other' to which I replied 'yes, they're all in the wellman supplement I got you that you can't be bothered to take!'. Oh well it's motivated him anyway! At least he's trying to be positive/proactive.

NinjaChipmunk · 06/06/2011 21:25

hi onemorning, and welcome to the thread. Sorry you are here but you are amongst friends.

Queenrollo thats great news about putting weight on, I hope you well and truly pounced on your dh Wink

faithbaby, hold on to your hope (and faith as per the new name!), you'll get there. don't give up on badgering your gp for everything possible.

af due for me tomorrow/ weds. Have had a lot of back ache this last week, would be nice if it was a symptom but I can't let myself get excited as then its too painful when it doesn't happen. still, its my day off tomorrow so at least i can chill with ds in our pyjamas.

Onemorning · 06/06/2011 20:36

Hello, anyone mind if I join in? 39, male factor problems, ttc 18 months, lap and dye last week but couldn't get dye in, next gynae appt [to explain results] in August, a couple of weeks before my 40th birthday.

havealittlefaithbaby · 06/06/2011 17:28

Hello, artist formerly known as Bexamundo.
Well done queenrollo! Think people underestimate how hard it is to gain weight when you're under.
DH's sperm tests came back, low mobility Sad. Guess they'll recheck and do some bloods. Need to go to GP about that and my lh/fsh results so will book.double appt. Man, this is tough. Trying to be positive but it's hard to hold on to hope after 18 months and dodgy test results!

queenrollo · 06/06/2011 09:22

hello all.

nothing to report here, dtd every two days for a week and got EWCM this morning so will pounce on DH when he gets in.

I have been calorie loading for three weeks now and have managed to put on 2lbs! this is a major achievement for me and i am very happy that finally my body is working with me on something Grin

Bexamundo · 01/06/2011 06:38

Well I'm.confused.com, FF decided I.ovulated cd8! How early?! No wonder opks were negative, egg had been and gone it seems! Good news is we dtd two data before so can relax about DH's test today (he isn't very relaxed!).

Bexamundo · 30/05/2011 17:27

Promise unfulfilled...bit fat argument instead. Oh joy. No more bd until after Wednesday and his appt! Now thinking a bfp is highly unlikely this month Sad.
But then again despite some ewcm, the cheapo crappy opk did not have two lines so maybe it's not quite time and the timing will all work out?! (Or the cheap ones are a bit rubbish....you decide!).

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 21:29

Oops posted too soon. Feeling fairly positive about ttc, I'm on a promise for tonight! Trying to for in.swi around Dh's appt; can.but try eh?!

Bexamundo · 29/05/2011 21:28

Hello to gastonladybird, tentative congratulations! Already had a cheeky look on computer at work (NHS perk) at my lh/fsh one was 3.6 other was 4.4 (ish). Think they should be closer together? Gynae appt is 1st July guess I'll get dome answers then. Just relaxing in mean time, trying to lose some weight (currently obese), so far have lost 4lb (in 2 weeks) and going to.the gym lots. Even went for a run today (I'm so not a runner dunno what came over me!).
feeling fairly posotv

NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 19:55

Is there a point where you think you will start to feel a tiny bit more relaxed? It must be so hard not being able to let yourself get excited. I can only begin to imagine how you feel. Good luck love and you know we're here if you need to sound off about how you are feeling.

Gastonladybird · 29/05/2011 19:45

Yes had one on Friday that showed very little (no shock) and
Having another in a weeks time . I don't think I have ever been so worried or negative about a pregnancy.

NinjaChipmunk · 29/05/2011 19:36

tentative congratulations to you! Will you be having an early scan? I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Hope you get the chance to relax and enjoy it a bit soon. Kepp us posted x

Gastonladybird · 29/05/2011 19:30

Hardandsleazy here (namechanged) - I have been lurking but just wanted to pop on to say that am five weeks pregnant. Am on aspirin and progesterone and bloody terrified will all go wrong again . Having to stop myself googling.
So happy re your news hairy(have fingers crossed)

Bex glad you are getting some tests -when do you get your results?

Rollo and ninja -the jealousy is AWful but I agree I don't mind when it is someone I know has had issues (ie not the woman at work who seems to conceive more easily than I do online supermarket orders).

Hi to jazzy and mazg - hope you find this helps and good luck.

NinjaChipmunk · 25/05/2011 10:04

queenrollo, I know what you mean, its the most overwhelming feeling too. I think feeling a bit of jealousy is completely natural as well. Whilst I may be begrudgingly happy for whoever announces their pregnancy, it just highlights how long I've been trying and how sad I am that its not me making the announcement. Not only that but I know that ds really wants a brother or sister. So many of his friends have siblings and he doesn't understand why he doesn't have one. Plus I see how much he loves and is really gentle with friends babies and I want him to feel that kind of love for a sibling too.
But you know what? IT WILL HAPPEN. Because I can't contemplate it not happening.

queenrollo · 25/05/2011 09:36

i had to be really stern with myself when out having coffee yesterday. Sat right next to a woman and her 4 month old boy (only seat left in cafe) and she was giving him a bottle and he was gripping her fingers so tightly and I looked and had a rush of nostalgia at doing that with DS and the tears sprang up my eyes. I hid behind the paper until i made myself stop crying....

Another friend announced PG, but again one who had a terrible time with miscarriage earlier this year - i find the jealousy isn't as bad under those circumstances. Still find it hard to have that little bit of jealousy when a PG is announced....

NinjaChipmunk · 25/05/2011 09:27

aw ellangirl you sound excited! keep us in the loop, I have no idea what you have to go through to have ICSI but I have everything (except my legs Wink) crossed for you.

bex, hope you do get some conclusive results, or at the very least a path of investigation.

hello to everyone else. be back later.

ellangirl · 24/05/2011 22:53

Hi all. I'm all tested out- pelvic ultrasound today, final test necessary to begin ICSI. Appt with consultant on Thursday to get the ball rolling with booking a clinic. Yay!
Welcome to all new people! Gins all round! 8mazg* what treatment are you hoping to go for?
piglet congratulations- I seemed to have missed that one- absolutely fantastic news!
hairy I'm so glad you're lurking, how are you?
Good luck with the wait ninja I'm now on the 2ww too, but it's a write off, obviously! So weird having my ovulation confirmed by ultrasound!
bex and queenrollo i'm sorry your bodies are messing you around- you give them a stern talking to!

Bexamundo · 24/05/2011 22:50

Yes bloods done today. Hmm results, could have a sneaky peak at work.tomorrow?! Or call Gp like a good girl!
Doubt there'll be very conclusive and think ultrasound will be only real confirmation. Hi hairy!

NinjaChipmunk · 24/05/2011 22:18

Smile at hairy How are you?
