Sympathy bossy- I avoid going in room full of baby stuff as I keep thinking should clear it out but can't and dd also asks about it ( thankfully she hasn't asked about baby brother or sister). Gun and sympathy here for those who have had a tough day.

Bexamundo · 28/02/2011 20:48

ellangirl that's why we're all here!
I feel terrible, eye-stingingly tired... hoping it's a good sign! Playing the waiting game. I'm quite enjoying charting though it gives me something to look at rather than just obsessively POAS.

Pooch28 · 28/02/2011 20:45

bossy that brought a lump to my throat - your little one talking about the cot etc. I've got a DD too so despite all the problems we're having ttc No. 2 I do cling onto the fact we've managed it once when I'm feeling particularly shit.

bossyboop · 28/02/2011 20:13

got pink cm boohoo but only cd23 Sad

changing, left you a reply on charters thread but doubt I make any sense!

ellangirl · 28/02/2011 19:43

I lent all the baby things to my SIL for her babies. Makes me feel better that they're being used by a baby rather than in the loft. Be positive bossy, there's no need to think that there won't be another baby for you, or me for that matter, we've just got to work on the patience for the long wait!

bossyboop · 28/02/2011 18:05

know the feeling, im so blessed to have dd and could be really happy just as we are but dd keeps asking for a baby sister and I just dont know what to say anymore, im really trying! She looked at the empty cot and said if we ever get a baby to go in there we need to get it some blankets. She was coming round to the idea that maybe a guinea pig could be a sister but think I will have to work harder on that one I think. Apart from the empty cot theres a loft full of clothes and everything else you need for a newborn. Thats why I will be glad to see the gyn again to see if we are going forward with this or just giving up on the idea as at least if theres a problem and we have to stop then we can move forward by getting rid of all the baby things, instead of clinging onto them for something we havent got.

ellangirl · 28/02/2011 17:31

SIL just sent through 12 wk scan pic for number 2, their DD is younger than DS. Inlaws asking when we're going to have number 2. Feeling v sad Sad

Pooch28 · 28/02/2011 15:08

Bossy - I get twinges near my hips all the time - think its too far from the ovaries to be significant - have even stared at my tummy trying to imagine where everything is! I'm sure though its just another symptom to add to the list of one's I worry about.
I have convinced myself I am not PG - have been at my most depressed all weekend - have another week to go - so will be even more depressed next weekend when I'm 100% definitely NOT PG. I wish I could relax just a little bit about the whole thing...

lovenamechange100 · 28/02/2011 14:56

Ive had a good cry too today, mines a pink gin BTW

Changing2011 · 28/02/2011 14:49

I am wondering if I should test or not... I have started a thread. :(

bossyboop · 28/02/2011 14:39

I was feeling quite sick too but think it was all the emotion building up, either that or im just sick of myself! Just sharp twinges near my hips now, add it to the list of symptoms for when I see the consultant again!

Changing2011 · 28/02/2011 14:26

I am now feeling very sick! I dont know why... but I am getting cramps as well so sure AF is on way!

bossyboop · 28/02/2011 14:07

Been and had a good cry, house needs a thorough spring clean but this was more important to get it out of my system. Feel quite cleansed myself after that! Was actually feeling a bit miserable over finances but have done the sums and obtained some perspective and rational thinking and it was not as gloomy in the bossy household as first thought and actually feel more optimistic. So AF do your worst im ready for you now!

Changing2011 · 28/02/2011 10:33

Morning, still no AF here, due on this week though! Feel v sick! But got tummy cramp too and am very irritable so she is sure to be on her way :(

bossyboop · 28/02/2011 10:26

12dpo and the temp has dipped and teeny bit of brown spotting started, though it may indicate what my problem is - the egg breaking down too early or something along them lines. Gloomy day today.

Hardandsleazy · 27/02/2011 20:43

Dunno about cheap ones off net but any of the ones I bought were shit (to extent never got a positive even when I was subsequently pregnant). So ended up using clear blue digital. That said access diagnostics do a range of stuff and it's all been quite good so if you were going to try any cheap I would start there.

This Is a new low- why the fuck am I watching wild at heart (must find remote).

Bexamundo · 27/02/2011 20:29

I did a cheap today despite only being 10dpo! Spent about 10 mins checking then two later only to conclude my eyes were hurting and it's probably too early regardless. No idea if they work, only ever had bfn!

ellangirl · 27/02/2011 20:04

Do the cheapy hpts work bossy? Or anyone? Feeling poor! 10dpo tomorrow and trying not to symptom spot.

bossyboop · 27/02/2011 16:31

sick of looking at my squint and you see it invisible line and have caved in and ordered more of those evil cheapie tests and a pack of 2 first response for £5.80 and free delivery at amazon. I do like punishing myself!

Hardandsleazy · 27/02/2011 14:33

Welcome minih- 10 months long enough to start worrying. Dh away it's raining and I am feeling very lazy. Mousey welcome your son same age as my dd.

I avoid the whole bus thing as can't help hoping they crash and also thinking they may Carey baby dust.

I am so glad I have here- was about to post on my post natal then someone was worrying about possible pregnancy(it wasn't ) and someone else (who had previously moaned everyone else was having two Hmm) was talking about her pregnancy. Not their fault but Its not really somewhere that
Suits my mood.
Still done nothing re booking third anti phospholipid test mainly as wonder what is point.. At moment I doesn't seem likely i will get pregnant and even less likely I can carry it.

MiniH · 27/02/2011 13:52

Ten months - which I know doesn't give me much right to complain as there's plenty of people who've been waiting longer.

Bexamundo · 27/02/2011 12:59

Hugs to broccolitrees, welcome to minih how long have you been ttc?

MiniH · 27/02/2011 09:10

I know it is early but can I join your hut and have a double please? I just need to get this off my chest. Our closest friends announced last night they were pregnant and I really want to be happy for them, but I can't. They weren't even trying - had agreed not to for a few months yet but then got drunk etc etc and I just want to punch something! And dh is driving me nuts by telling me that 'our time will come' and that I just need to relax. I suggested that getting drunk seemed to work wonders for most people so maybe if I got shit faced I'd be more relaxed! I just don't want to hear about how easy it was for them and how they have no idea what they should be doing as was so unprepared - I'm prepared, i've done my reading, I'm dutifully taking my stupid vitamins, and barely drinking and eating better and it's not bloody fair. I had a crap year last year because of non-ttc related stuff and it just feel like we've had our share of crap and that we do deserve a bit of a break. And instead the couple that have had a pretty bloody rosy time of everything now also get to add conceiving really easily to their list!

And I feel really guilty for all those things, and I don't want them to feel awkward around us as this is a happy time for them. And obviously i wouldn't wish the frustration of this on them - it just feels unfair.

Sorry - rant over.

Bexamundo · 26/02/2011 22:07

Or like "I only came off the pill 3 weeks ago, was really surprised to see BFN"!!
Useful to swap tips on the whole issue of people questioning why DC1 is not here yet or at least conceived or at the VERY least why aren't you having swi?!
Seriously there is something wrong with me tonight we're chilling out at home. Couldn't even finish one cider. Have switched to milk......Also my nipples feel rubbery. VERY strange.
