Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

MW - thanks for that. i might just wait to see if this bleeding stops, set myself a time say if im still bleeding in a weeks time try it for a month and see how it goes, maybe my body will sort itself out by then .
i wouldnt fancy the injection personally dont like the idea of having a needle up my bum every three months

carly82 · 07/10/2005 13:28

hi diddle!
no he didnt give me any other advice apart from that and the old "you still have plenty of time" which i know is true, doesnt help though
on a plus side i found some choc admittidley it belongs to my ds but im being a good mummy taking it cos too much choc is bad for their teeth

mumswish · 07/10/2005 13:27

Carly,

I've just come off the pill after nearly 2 years of taking it and my gp has said go for it as soon as I want. Get 3 months supply and at the end of each month decide if you want to try there and then or if you want to go another month.

The only thing that really slows you down is the injection. Dont do that!

carly82 · 07/10/2005 13:24

hi MW!
well i told my gp that me and dp are trying for a baby and he said that this doesnt seem like an infection as there are no other symptoms other than constant bleeding, maybe i should try the pill for a few months to make my cycles regular. but im scared that if i do this not only can i not get pg for three months then i got wait for it to leave my system which could take another few months!!! sometimes i just think its not meant to be i mean im happy with what i have as my boys are my world but am i really being selfish wanting just one more?

Diddle · 07/10/2005 13:18

carly - was just thinking at the beginning of the week that we hadn't heard from you. Sounds liek you're having a rough time of it, and i'm nt sure whats worse, bleeding or no chocolate
you know we're always here to listen to you. what a stupid suggestion to go on the pill, although it may regulate your cycles, duh it won't help ttc will it, stupid doc. so did he give you any alternatives??

OP posts:
mumswish · 07/10/2005 13:15

Carly, I'm sorry to hear your having such a rough time of it. Is that all your gp had to say? did you explain that you were trying for a baby? could it be an infection? I really dont know what else to say. Maybe you could try a different Gp? Female one?

carly82 · 07/10/2005 13:06

mumswish · 07/10/2005 12:03

Yeh just a little more humane!

I'm off for lunch now see you in an hour girls!

Diddle · 07/10/2005 11:47

my mouse wasn't cute think we've caught another. but we've bought a new gadget that sends of high frequency sound waves which they run away from, much more humane than peanut butter on a trap

The mouse was cute.

Shouldnt metion the "ring of fire" incident in front of HellKat. Reminds her of a song and she cant get it back out of her head.

Thanks for the mention of age. I dont think I'm too young, lots of friends and family do but I dont care. I want a bean now so [stick tongue out emoticon]

Hope you enjoy it here as much as I do.

I LOVE the sims! We've got it but I never get to play no more as DP has put LOADS of games on it and now theres not enough space! Getting a new comp soon tho so I can play it on new one and he can play with the old one!! HA HA

I'm going for interview about new house today (we're renting so estate agent gotta check we will pay) Hopefully they'll say yes and give us the keys there and then otherwise I'll be very annoyed. Been waiting 2 weeks now.

Diddle · 07/10/2005 10:30

cleaning tidying playing and painting today, got plenty of energy today for some reason.

Although i am certain i am being haunted my pregnant!!! We went to the jewellers last night and the lady who served us, who we know from going in for our wedding rings last year, if 6 months pregnant and showing off about it. somehow i managed to join in. Then i played my new sims 2 game for my pc and chose a family with 2 kids and my sim mom, was pregnant too, didn't sya that when i chose her, she kept getting bigger and bigger then out popped the baby, so jealous. I want one!!!!

Thanks for everything girls.

Its prob just me being impatient. I dont know,

Anyway enough of me bugging everyone. Whats everyone got planned for today then?

Diddle · 07/10/2005 10:23

mumswish - I seriously think you need to have a good chat wiht your fella, he obviously doesn't have a clue what he wants, and to be honest if you need to nag him then do it, you won't get anywhere just giving up when he gets mad at you for asking. Tell him what you want, your plans for the future should ne joint splans especially if you're getting married, which you can discuss with him. give him a nudge, surely he has had chance to ask your dad if he really does want to be married. you don't have to do it right away, if financially you couldn't afford it or wanted a longer engagement you could. I'm good at nagging though, you never get anywhere with a man if you don't, they don't think like us women.
Sit him down and have a good chat, don't let him make excuses.

slink - it is still early days, i never had a bfp before i was due on. stay positive there is always hope until af comes

OP posts:
mumswish · 07/10/2005 10:08

Sorry about the BFN Slinks. Maybe it could still be ok. Whens AF Due?

HK - I've spoken to him loads of times. I'm worried if I keep talking to him about it he'll think I'm nagging.

Thanks gals. i think we're gonna have to have a sit-down talk. I'm not gonna let him leave till I get a straight answer out of him. If he doesnt want kids yet, I can deal with that, It'll be hard but at least if I know I know. Instead of doing things like coming off the pill and getting excited only to be told no kids yet.

maddyd · 07/10/2005 10:07

Slinkash Are you late yet though?

Coathanger · 07/10/2005 10:07
