Prettybird · 30/09/2005 15:50

Thnaks Coathanger - our circumsntances do sound very similar - including dh's attitude to my pregnancy 2 years ago.

I will CAT you - but probably only on Monday, as I am really busy at work today.

Diddle · 30/09/2005 14:53

mumswish · 30/09/2005 14:29

Oooooo Choccies are the best medicine! Flowers?

Coathanger · 30/09/2005 14:24

I'm sorry I haven't had much imput today. I have scanned posts but not read in detial.

I hope you are all good - Prettybird, CONGRATULATIONS!! So glad to see you have had a bfp! I can 100% sympathise with your situation with yuor DH. If you want to CAT me, please feel free. My DH wasn't very happy when I announced I was PG with the baby i later went on to lose. He was a pig for a week and even after that he wasn't too hot on the idea. His worry is money too, but it also goes deeper. If you want to talk about it feel free to drop me a line

Hope everyones is good

sunnyside · 30/09/2005 14:23

Yep and choccies too!

mumswish · 30/09/2005 14:21

Sunny - Does that mean loads of dbing for you then?! Its lovely when that happens. My boyf used to work opposite hrs to me until a few months ago and I always used to love a sunday cos it meant I woke up next to him after I went to bed with him. Sunday - day of rest- not for us

Thanks for the note about food. I know my g-dad cant have ANYTHING with even a hint of sugar in them. And a mate of mine has to stick herself with a needle every day (couldnt do that dont know how she copes)

sunnyside · 30/09/2005 14:18

Mumswish just to let you know I've been on a new treatment and you can eat everything! Literally whatever you want. This is great but isn't helping my diet!! Ive been deprived of cakes and choccies for two years so now I'm overdosing!!!

Anyway that aside my DH is on his way home! Yippee! He's worked away during the week for about a month so its lovely to know he's on his way home! Its a bit like waiting for your boyfriend to pick you up for a date! I feel all soft and sappy!!!

What are you ladies up to this weekend?

mumswish · 30/09/2005 14:15

I want to go see a lady doc sometime soon anyway to find out if there's stuff apart from folic acide that i should be doing. Eg: someone said about having some injections against rubella etc 3 months before ttc. Dont know if thats true. So i'll check with them about diabetes etc.

Diddle · 30/09/2005 14:11

good choice mumswish, don't blame you. while you're not getting your hopes u[p, don't rule it out either.

coathanger - where have you gone!!!!!

OP posts:
mumswish · 30/09/2005 14:09

I used to be in docs by where I lived with mum but had to change cos I moved. I've gone to the most top-notch docs in my new town but they're so clinical there. EG: Doc saying "you're too fat to have a baby" I prefer the old docs.

There isnt any other docs in my area that are taking on at the moment either. I'm not doing pg test for at least a couple of weeks cos I wouldnt b due an af for about a week yet anyway so i'll leave it abit and if no af, then i'll test. I dont want to think about that at the mo because I'd get really excited about nothing (which it prob is)

Anyway enough about me. What everyone been doing today?

Diddle · 30/09/2005 14:02

mumswish - have you done a pg test because you know you can get pg on the pill and you may have caught even if you haven't tried much. worth a check. Hope its not diabetes, that does make you very tired though DH had the same problem always tired and achy, but luckily he was borderline. They also thought it might be a blood pressure problem, can't remember if it was high or low. but if you're doctors evil, could you change?

OP posts:
mumswish · 30/09/2005 13:56

My g-dad is a diabetic so it may well be I just hope not. There's too much stuff I like that you cant have with diabetes. Plus I'm soooo scared of needles, couldnt put one in me myself. Have to close eyes when see needles! so I'd stick myself in the wrong place

Diddle · 30/09/2005 13:54

CH you can msn me now or later, i migth be out from 4.30ish until 5.30 ish but will be here all evening too. but am free now if you are

OP posts:
mumswish · 30/09/2005 13:54

Not pg. Been on pill. Finished my last one today. Its something else. I just wish I knew what. Plus I'm pretty sure it not pg as have horrible crampy af feelings which will just add to the yucky feeling I've got
