Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

HumphreysCorner · 07/10/2005 21:29

Caught up now girlies.

Won't be on over the weekend coz it is our night away at Brands Hatch-last race of the season time flies when you are having fun. Can't believe I will be 36 when I'm next on here

Diddle-everything crossed for testing-oh and Lottielou as well! My Sims keep having twins and then I can't cope and they get taken away. Spend all the time trying to get the Elixir Of Life so they don't die. Great fun! ((xx)) ((xx))

Welcome to mygirllolipop and bojangles and welcome back to Trix1. ((xx))

slinkstah-sorry about your BFN but it is only day 22 hun. ((xx))

mumswish-don't know what to say about DP-personally, I think it is stressful enough organising a wedding so perhaps it will be better to have a lovely wedding and start TTC on the honeymoon? ((xx))

carly82-hope your bleeding slows up. As for PG tests I won't buy any from the shops as I am fed up with the knowing looks you are given. Got one from the lady in Boots last time-never again! ((xx))

Suppose I should pack some things now and hope to read some good news on here when I log on here on Monday.

Hugs to everyone I haven't mentioned, soz I haven't mentioned each of you, feel a touch tired having had a busy day at work and DD needing as much attention as a 3 month old right down to having to help her hold her bottle of milk.

Have a lovely weekend.

((xx))

Diddle · 07/10/2005 18:10

Evening ladies-will catch up later.

Diddle-thanks for your kind words as it really is 'doing my head in'. Nursery rang today to see how DD was-she is still v.poorly. They were worried I was going to take her out of nursery but I will give it a bit longer. ((xx))

Coathanger-lol!!! (xx))

CD 14 & my 36th B'Day tomorrow-hope that will be the night .

Due to test 17th as due 22nd.

Got to go as DD crying-again. Love to all.

xx

hi trix1 - nice to hear from you, sorry you're having no luck, neither am i, it has been 9 months since my first m/c and 6 since my 2nd. nothing happening yet and i wonder if i'm putting too much pressure on myself. don't think i could have a break fromm mumsnet but maybe i could from ttc so furiously. we'll see what this months brings.

thanks HK i thought you might be on here early as always.

Coathanger pmsl Love it

Trix1 · 07/10/2005 17:28

I have not been on these message boards for quite a few months as I was getting way to obsessive about ttc. I thought I would give it all a break and see what happens and nothing happened

I have been ttc for ten months now after my 3rd m/c in Dec at 16 weeks. Today I went for blood tests to see if I am ovulating still (day 21) so I am hoping I might get some luck from these threads this time {wink}

Good luck to all of you ttc

HellKat · 07/10/2005 17:26

Hiya all.
Welcome newbies!
Ch-omg just cracked up at the guts or balls. Dp thinks I'm loopy lol.

Diddle- I'll be on bright and early for your result x

Diddle

Persona is basically a natural family planning method. You have a digital monitor which you look at each morning and it tells you whether you are on a red or green day each month. If you do the opposite to what it says then it can help ttc. You also have to do wee tests on certain days - it tests oestrogen levels and for the LH surge. It should come up with an egg sign when you ovulate.

It is expensive - approx £60 plus test sticks each month and it is only any good if your cycles aren't too long or too short.

HTH.

Diddle · 07/10/2005 16:11

i know nothing about persona, well i do but not what you do with it? i knwo what its for. how does it work what do you test?

Ah, I'm sorry AF turned up Mojo What a cow!

All systems go for next month then... XXX

bojangles · 07/10/2005 15:40

Hello Mojomummy, sorry about your AF. I've jsut started using persona this month. hard work to remmeber to do it each morning. I hope you have fun BD this month!

Coathanger · 07/10/2005 15:39

Well, I thought it was funny.......

bojangles · 07/10/2005 15:37

PMSL at thought of you all sneaking around to buy pg tests incognito! I've not been too bad with testing for pg yet - tested last month as convinced I was pg but soon realised that after a few months of ttc you can convince yourself you are pregnant every month!!

Mojomummy · 07/10/2005 15:37

Just to update my stats...got my AF on Wed. It arrived on day 30, so was hopefully of being pregnant

I messed up my persona - I stopped testing on day 14 as I thought I'd somehow missed it, so am assuming I ovo on day 15/17..grrrrr.

Now have to brace myself for BD every other day....we're wondering if we'll ever have sex for pleasure again..........

Coathanger · 07/10/2005 15:27

Just received this via email from a pal. Not very PC but made me chuckle...

Guts or Balls, which do you have?

Guts - is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being assaulted by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: "Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

Balls - is coming home late after a night out with the guys, Smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the ass and having the balls to say: "You're next, fatty."

slinkstah · 07/10/2005 15:07
