Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

And you don't want to wet yourself trying to get the test out of the wrapper - why do they have to make those so hard to get into??!!

babybloos · 03/10/2005 13:46

lol mumswish, keep us posted.

mumswish · 03/10/2005 13:42

ok, well I think we'll be waiting a while! I got no need at all for pee yet. Am drinking my pepsi tho (normal amount) Will go get test out of car then I dont have to look silly dancing around my car trying to find it in the boot when I'm dying 4 a wee!!

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:41

Maddy - i've been thinking of you. It's 1.40pm now and I hope you have had some news - good preferably. Sweetheart, I really hope you are okay {{{{XXX}}}}

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:40

Hi wish!! You never know, it might be your month too, coz you're not expecting it! I'll keep everything crossed for you too. (flippin' heck! all this crossing is starting to get painful )

wishingchair · 03/10/2005 13:38

Hello all - was away last week. How's everyone doing. Had a quick read through but couldn't manage all 500 messages!!!

Maddy - thinking of you. Have fingers crossed all is ok. And if not, you know we're here for you. Sending you big hug.

As for me - af due Sat-Tues time. Really don't think I am as have been having niggly pains. Have spent the last 3 months convincing myself I was pg every month, this time I'm pretty sure no. DH and I only had short time together and it was around the right time but only 3 bd 'events'! Am resigned to this taking longer than before, but that's fine. When the time is right and all that.

Lots of love and baby dust/glue to everyone x

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:38

Try not to get hopes up, butyou need to test so you are aware of the situation. You never know, making the appt to see doctor may have been fate!

mumswish · 03/10/2005 13:37

well I was taking pill first time and got pg so I Know It can happen I just dont believe it till I see it!

That would be sooo strange to go to docs tonight asking about advice to get pg only to tell them I'm pg!! O dear getting hopes up here!!

babybloos · 03/10/2005 13:36

i would definetely test mumswish, u have nothing to loose and it will put your mind at rest. i got pg v quickly after coming off pill and then when we tried again (one that ended in mc) we had only tried once at weird time so you never know truly until you test....good luck and let us know.

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:35

Drinking too much can dilute your wee, so wait til you need to go. If it is +ve, you need to speak to a doctor to talk abouthte implications of you having been on the pill. But when you think how many women get PG and continue taking it, I don't think there is toomuch to worry about just yet.

mumswish · 03/10/2005 13:31

ok, well I dont need to pee yet so cant test. I'm prob just ill (or hungry)

If you drink loads of water does it ruin the outcome of the test?

I'm pretty sure it will be BFN but I might aswel check just to make sure yeh?

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:28

Mumswish - it sounds to me like you ned to put your mind at rest. It wouldn't be silly at all for you to do this test. You know your body better than anyone, and if you don't feel "right" then try it. Women fall PG on the pill all the time - it isn't 100% fool proof!

Go do the test and let us know asap xx

mumswish · 03/10/2005 13:27

Do you think it would be really silly of me to use this test to see if I am?

I cant think how I could be but I should have had my normal off the pill pack bleed by now. I'm peeing every 1/2 hr, Feel acidy sick, knackered and weepy.

THe only thing thats making me think I shouldnt is the fact that I've been on the pill for so long that even if something had gone wrong I would have thought the pills would have blocked them. I dont want to get my hopes up over nothing. I'm probably just being REALLY silly

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:16

speak to you later babybloos xxx

babybloos · 03/10/2005 13:15

thanks to you all, nice to know i am not the only obsessive and it is nice to use some of my mind thinking about you all instead of me!

i have to go for a bit as dd needs a nappy change and a sleep so should really get on with that.....spk soon

mumswish · 03/10/2005 13:12

Babyloos- We're all here for you whether your pg or not. We'll help you through everything and you KNOW you will be pg at some point so stay positive

Diddle · 03/10/2005 13:11

babybloos - we are all totally obsessive i know i am, everything that happens i wonder fi its a sign. very weird. and most times its not, but sometimes it is, so i hope it is for you.

hello mumswish

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 13:09

When you do become PG babybloos, we are all here for you. You don't have to do those first months alone. XX

babybloos · 03/10/2005 13:07

thanks coathanger, i appreciate you all being here so much even though I am not on every day. I keep looking at statistics and percentages and I must stop as my mood swings are getting a little crazy!! i just have to sit tight and wait and see and not get hopes up, it is so much easier when you are not trying to get the surprise of af not arriving. i feel that the mc has taken so much of the fun and joy out of getting pg and i can't even imagine the state I will be in the first few months when i am!!!

mumswish · 03/10/2005 13:01

Well I'm back from lunch.

Hope everyone is ok.

Coathanger · 03/10/2005 12:56

Aw, babybloos, I've got everything crossed for you, hun. Sometimes its the months you least expect it that youcan fall PG. Don't give up any hope til you know better. XX

babybloos · 03/10/2005 12:47

I so wish that could be true and i will hold out hope for the 17th....I feel a bit obsessed with my body at the moment, every change that happens. i am sure you are all the same and it helps knowing that everyone is in a similar boat. thanks for listening..

Diddle · 03/10/2005 12:44

unless you ovulated earlier than you thought, and it is implantation bleeding, you never know.

OP posts:
babybloos · 03/10/2005 12:36

Got this on babycentre website......

If fertilisation occurs?
If the egg is fertilised in the Fallopian tube, it will bed down in the lining of the uterus ? what's known as implantation. The journey from ovary to uterus takes about six days. Your progesterone levels will stay high and you may start to feel the early signs of pregnancy.

Looks like my spotting must be something else! I just hope I haven't missed the boat this month

babybloos · 03/10/2005 12:28

thanks diddle, i will have a look too.....i don't know what else the bleeding could be??
