Well I think after all our chatting its about time we had a new thread, as the previous one was very lucky for us, lets hope this one remains just as lucky.

Remember ladies - Our time will come, but our bodies have to be ready, and we are all here to support each other.

For those new people please feel free to check out our Stats thread, to see some info about us and leave you details if you want to.

slink 25 days, cd 26 becomes cd 1 if af comes that day

OP posts:
slinkstah · 05/10/2005 12:16

if i count from first day of af being day 1 and i have af again on day 26 is that cycle 26 days or 25 days?

slinkstah · 05/10/2005 12:14

i went on the pill once for only about a week or two because i did not want af on holiday but i had so many side effects like depression and well just general crazyness lol i decided that it doesn't agree with me and have never used it as contraception. i had the coil for contraception, that worked really well.
my cycle is never 28 days either i am averaging a 26 day. depending on how youcount it it could well be classed as 25 days.

mumswish · 05/10/2005 11:49

yeh. As of last Friday. Not going back on for ages!! I hated it!

You're meant to have 3 wks on and 1 wks off. (28 days)

I had 3 wks on and 1 wk off. I started bleeding (since mc op) about 2 days before meant to start pill again. So it was always very confusing. I think my cycle is meant to be more than 28 days. Thats the only thing that will explain it.

slinkstah · 05/10/2005 11:42

the pill sounds very confusing i have never understood it so have you completely come off it now?

mumswish · 05/10/2005 11:31

I'm thinking thats what it is. Which is why I'm confused. Its 22 days since I last bled. so I'm sooo confused now. some where along the line I'm must have forgotten to take a pill or something cos I always put a red mark on the calendar when I'm bleeding and when I put this info in ferility it told me I was on CD22. [confused face]

I think i'll just wait until I bleed next time and go from there. Never mind this fertility friend stuff. If I can get pg on the pill last time then I'm sure I can get pg off the pill this time!! just a matter of when

Diddle · 05/10/2005 10:44

how can you know where you are in your cycle? if you've been on the pill? Is it 22 days since your last bleed, sorry totally confusing myself now. So it is 22 days since you're last period started, so surely your body might think that it should still be on the pill and won't bleed until cd 28, is that possible

OP posts:
mumswish · 05/10/2005 10:41

ok seeing as no bleeding yet I've worked out where I am in this cycle.

I'm CD 22 So maybe I should stop worrying!

Diddle · 05/10/2005 10:37

i had sore boobs with my 2nd pregnancy, very sore, didn't want to lie on my front but thats the only way i can sleep. Wish i had sore boobs now

cd 34

OP posts:
mumswish · 05/10/2005 10:27

with my mc, I never had no symptoms really. Ooh I had sore boobs for a day on the day I was due AF. and I couldnt lie on my tummy once I got the +ive but I think that was all in my head.

Diddle · 05/10/2005 10:16

slinkstah - i think everyone is different, some people don't have many symptoms at all, i guess you just have to wait and see.

OP posts:
slinkstah · 05/10/2005 10:00

oops sorry for repeated entry computer is crazy

slinkstah · 05/10/2005 09:50

when do other people start feeling pg symptoms?

slinkstah · 05/10/2005 09:45

when do other people start feeling pg symptoms?

slinkstah · 05/10/2005 09:43

i keep waking up in the morning and feeling my boobs hoping they are hurting, as thats usually the first sign i am pg, usualy well before missed AF but nothing as yet.
i think if i am not pg this month i will give it some time before ttc again as i am too scared of going into early labour again. i'd rather not be at uni when im 20 weeks. i think i will rather be in bed relaxing, well doing anything possible to keep my next baby inside.

slinkstah · 05/10/2005 09:39

my course is pretty hectic this year - i am dreading the work load but have told dp to help more with kids and house. i thought i'd do 1 big effort this year and get it over and done with. although if i am pg then i might have to consider part time.

Diddle · 05/10/2005 09:36

wow slink - i thought i had a lot with one assignment, i couldn't cope with 9

OP posts:
slinkstah · 05/10/2005 09:34

diddle you course sounds great, i was just about to finish my 2nd year at uni when my baby was born too early to make it. i managed to scrape to pass that year and was going to take a year out but changed my mind yesterday so i enrolled for 3rd year. i am doing multimedia computing. i always do things at last minute too i am gonna try and change that this year as i have 9 assignments in the next 14 weeks so i must get organised.

mumswish · 05/10/2005 09:25

HK - Glad to hear you were fine this morning then. I think you've passed it to me tho, If you know what I mean LOL

Diddle · 05/10/2005 09:09

HC - he he did not notice my awful spelling, too much typing has fuddled my brain

OP posts:
Diddle · 05/10/2005 09:08

carameli - I read that somewhere too, about there being an increased chance of it happening again. The first time we didn't wait at all, and got pregnant before my next period, we lost that pregnancy too. so we decided to wait this time, and it has been 6 months, i guess my body isn't ready yet to carry a baby and i'm very glad we waited. The first time we thought it was a risk trying so soon, but knew if it was meant to be ok it would be. We had to try for our own piece of mind.
Very glad the scan was clear for you, start trying when ever you feel ready.

Good news Carmeli-when I first read you message I couldn't work out how Granny was only 2 but then realised so Happy Birthday to DD.

After we got the all clear we just got on with it but 3 AF's later I still haven't fell so just do what you feel is right. I do think you should wait for at least 1 or 2 AF's but if you felt like I did there was no way I was going to wait. Depends where you read about conceiving straight after a MC-some do MC again but some go on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy. ((xx))
