Arse crackers-dildo cam sees fluid by one of my tubes. He says it might be nothing eg. Maybe a blood vessel or could be a thing called hydrosalpinx which is where there is fluid from a previous infection. He particularly thinks this could be the case because i had emergency surgery to remove my appendix a couple of years ago :( A quick look at dr google shows that not only would this cag a tube, it has been speculated that it could cause lower conception success rates due to fluid messing with the embryo. They say next step is to inject my womb with contrast dye and X-ray it to see exactly what's going on. I'm a bit worried about that tho because it's not a good part of your body to be x-rayed and also need to talk through what they might find and what the next steps would be. If it's just something that halves my chances of sperm meeting egg, I'm not bothered and would only contemplate surgery etc if it could cause ectopic or recurrent miscarriage. So no point in being zapped if I'd never follow up on results anyway. So have decided to phone consultant in new year and talk it through. In good news, ovaries look ok and womb thickness is good.

Also...someone further up asked what dildocam was (Hadrian?) Dildocam is exactly what it says on the tin :) Ultrasound from the inside used if they're having trouble seeing what's going on with the external one, not nearly as dreadful as it sounds, honest.

wombat my chrimbo prezzie to myself this year is a monitoring cycle at a private clinic and as today is cd10, apparently that means dildo cam.... Not sure if they do more bloods today as well, I know I've got to have bloods taken after I ovulate (which means I'm going to have to chill out a lot more this cycle!!!)

I honestly thought i was going to be posting bad news when i woke up this morning nausea free...... but thank god there is something in there Its a very long way still to go, but today its all good. Measuring 2cms and 8 1/2 weeks EDD 7th Aug (day after my birthday, and the same weekend my MC was confirmed!)

Been off to visit a friend's newborn today, absolutely gorgeous but bitter-sweet for me as I should have been having my no.2 in a few weeks. Another 2 of my antenatal group friends are due their no.2s in the next couple of weeks too. Oh well, onwards and upwards, maybe some baby luck will have rubbed off on me!

Dachs sending out good luck vibes your way, you deserve it after everything you've been through. I personally think it must be so much harder for those ttc no.1 without success than for those of us ttc no.2 or more and have so much respect for those of you in this boat for staying so strong and finding time to share some support with others on here too.

Oh, my back story for anyone that's interested. DD aged 22 months. This time round trying 13 months so far, pregnant after 6 months but miscarried 7 weeks. I'm 35 so the clock is ticking.
