Had an mc and need some wine, chocolate and somewhere to moan and cry? This is the place to be! We chat a LOT so it can be hard to keep up, but everyone on here is great and will hold your hand until you get your BFP.

Thanks for the support girls, makes me feel much better to know someone out there understands.

Am struggling to keep up but do we have pink, A&R and Orange all with faint lines? I am sure you will all get your big, fat, unmistakable soon. Any line at all is a positive really though isn't it?

Nix sorry you have this worry and are feeling poorly. I hope you are able to get some rest and have someone to take care of you.

Velvet we are at the bottom of the list together both on cycle 5 and similar cycle lengths. I am hoping January brings us both some good news.

MamaChristmas · 20/12/2010 11:22

There I was just lurking away and thought I couldn't ignore this... Nix sending you a big fat hug my love. Stay in bed and take it easy. BTW, you don't need anyone's permission (GP referral or otherwise) to seek advice from the EPU, if you want some reassurance just call the nurse directly via the hospital maternity/EPAU ward!

In other news the biatch showed yesterday as expected! Can someone put me down the bottom on the list CD 2 today and also I've lost some cycles too... should now be 6.

Waves to all and goes back to lurking!

orestyemerrywombat · 20/12/2010 11:20
  • you're not your (what is wrong with me this morning?!?!)
orestyemerrywombat · 20/12/2010 11:14

Aw Nix BIG hugs lovely xxxx I'm keeping everything crossed it's just a touch of flu and you'll all be absolutely fine xxx

Velvet hugs for you too. Sorry 20100 have been such a shit year. Roll on 2011, eh?! 'twil; be a fab'un for all of us on here I hope! Xmas Grin

Pink keep the faith! Wishing you a sticky sticky bean and some really strong lines to show DH in a few days Xmas Grin. You can keep your sardines though thanks :)

Izz at least your on the 2ww now - you and Mr Izz can have a bit of time off!

owlbooty · 20/12/2010 10:48

Nix you poor thing, take very good care of yourself - lots of treats and relaxing as much as you can. If doc is messing you about do not feel at all bad about wailing at him until he writes the referral out of desperation to get you out of his office! x

Rudolf hoorah for the bfp :) The line I got on the first test I did was so puny I didn't actually show DH until 5 days later when I got a reasonably convincing one. He doesn't know I've been testing again every 3 days since then; I've got enough piss-sticks to make a fecking nativity scene out of now Xmas Smile

Nice flashing suspenders, you lot, by the way Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 20/12/2010 10:45

nix he's probably right, but it doesn't stop you worrying does it? Why don't you try ringing your midwives direct - even if you're not yet registered with them for this pg they might help (my dsis had to go thus route and they did refer her). Explain you've already had a mc and they might be more sympathetic - cry if you need to.

I know it sounds cynical behaviour but it'll do you no good to be stressing about it, so I would get seen if you can x

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 20/12/2010 10:38

Awww nix try and stay hopeful if you can- DH and DS had fevers too so hopefully it's just from the flu. Are you able to rest up and take it easy for a few days?

Velvetstocking · 20/12/2010 10:38

aww nix big hugs to you. I booked myself into epu last time - maybe you could give them a call?

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 20/12/2010 10:34

Hola, doc for now seems unconcerned unless it gets darker or red and won't send me to epu unless it is. Was worried as have had a high fever which he says was viral but I had a fever last time!! Ds and dh have also had fevers saying that!!

Have gone from vomiting and nausea to fever to brown discharge, my head is totally shredded :(

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 20/12/2010 10:30

Hehe thanks izzy you are so right-it needs to be a definitive preg/not preg for them to get their heads round!!

Awww poor nix I so hope they've got reassuring news for her :( bloody hell, that combined with the lurgy is a lot to deal with in the week before chrimbo :(

Velvetstocking · 20/12/2010 10:28

Just updating - I seem to have lost a cycle.

Sorry she got you HK.

I'm thinking 2010 has been a shite year so I didnt expect any good news for me - we will get some in 2011 - we have a whole 12 months of saying that ahead :)

pink I remember getting the same reaction when I woke dh up at 5am to show him my bfp with dd. As I told him then though, a line is a line, and you're either pg or you're not. You can't be slightly pg, in the same way that you can't be slightly dead.

'Tis one occasion when the digi tests get a better reaction because you don't have the arguments about the darkness of the line, it's just pg or not pg. Men cope better with that.

I heard from nix on the charters thread (and I hope she won't mind me telling you girls) that she'd had some brown cm and was going to try to get to epu to get checked out. Fx it's nothing and she'll be on here later breathing a huge sigh of relief - however much we know it's quite common we all know how worrying it can be.

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 20/12/2010 10:03

Bacon sardines???? Xmas Grin

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 20/12/2010 10:02

izz sorry about the row, it really is shit-I have the same thing too that we always start too early in the month and then by ov time we're both exhausted and definitely not in the mood any more Xmas Sad

Thanks for bacon sardines wombie, yum!!!

Hehe I showed my DH the pee stick this morning, he was less than impressed that that was all the second line I could muster!!! In his words 'hmm I'm not sure I'd get my hopes up based on THAT - you can only see the line if you hold the stick up to your face, squint and tilt it at the particular angle.....' hehe he makes a good point.

nix you still alive hun??

orestyemerrywombat · 20/12/2010 09:42

I'm with you on ttc being crap sometimes! The whole sex on demand thing is not conducive to romance!!

orestyemerrywombat · 20/12/2010 09:35

don't make it home for swi

orestyemerrywombat · 20/12/2010 09:34

Izz I'm not really sure! Xmas Confused I normally get two days of smilies on the opk then a temp rise on cd 18 ish. This month I had one smilie day (yesterday) but my temps went down today... To be honest they've been all over the place this month so far so I've no idea what's going on! I'm guessing I'm oving today (nearly didn't try to get into london for work in case I don't make it good for swi Xmas Blush). We'll see what temps do tomorrow! Either way, should be about to join you I think.

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 20/12/2010 09:10

Oooh thanks wombat

After totally confusing temps yesterday, FF finally drew crosshairs and told me I'm 4dpo today, so am into the 2ww. This is good as dh and I are quite frankly fed up of shagging and abortive swi attempt last night ended in a row. Isn't ttc really crap sometimes? Xmas Sad

so is anyone joining me yet on the 2ww? wombat where are you cycle-wise?

orestyemerrywombat · 20/12/2010 09:04

ooh good luck pink, orange and aandr! I've still got my flashing suspenders on (now under thermals, fleeces and snow boots Xmas Grin)

morning everyone else out there this morning!

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 20/12/2010 08:36

((( hk ))) sorry she got you Xmas Sad x

pink and orange and aandr - I still have my suspenders on for you. Faint lines are still lines and therefore good. aandr get your dh to go and get you an FR to test again. pink and orange I'll keep everything crossed for Wednesday for you - sounds like we might get some more good news xx

DontEatOrangeSnow · 20/12/2010 07:04

Faint line?!? That's good, no? it's so difficult tho when you have the test and you just wonder

Yes I'm still on for Wednesday, it was the day dh suggested too Xmas Grin I've worked out cos I didn't temp I'll be between 5-8 days late then - if the red witch doesn't get me first

HK sorry I didn't notice Blush damn red witch :(

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 20/12/2010 06:30

((((HK)))) really sorry AF got you :(

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 20/12/2010 06:03

ARSE why didn't I take my own advice and wait until Wednesday like I agreed with orange-have faintest of all faint lines on first response arghghghghg. Temp dropped a bit today but that might be because I I've been awake worrying about whether to do a test since about 2am....... Arghghghghgh so I hav cleared up nothing at all!!! So orange aandr digital on wed???? Nob nob nob nob nob

DontEatOrangeSnow · 20/12/2010 05:38

((( AandR ))) fx for you, are you trying again today? What an awful position to be in, hopefully you'll get another reassuring BFP
Wombat beats our 5 inches Xmas Grin
Tigger sorry you're feeling under the weather, are you in work, or can finish soon/ring in sick to have a rest?

We're waiting until Weds to POAS, I've given my tests to dh under strict instructions not to give back. They are Internet cheapies tho, so am going to try the ClearBlue Digital then there is no danger of me squinting at it in different lights Blush it was quite a relief to get up this morning and not be worrying about testing
