Ladies from Vol4 - welcome to our new home.

Thank you all and hello ses, nice to hear from you again.

Now have 4 eggs fertilised, today is day 1 so no grading yet. Just hoping they keep dividing until transfer, probably sat. Would love some for the freezer too, but one good one for ET would be brilliant!

Harry2007 · 17/03/2011 12:36

Just popped back to say good luck Keziah xxx

Hello all! Sorry for going AWOL - a combination of life being busy and going easy on the CBFM.

I'm currently on CD12 and hoping for my first high tomorrow.
Last month I thought we'd given things a really good go but still no BFP....

I'll try and read through for a little catch up but hope you'll forgive me if I just jump straight back in!

Keziah - couldn't help but notice your post about your egg collection though and am v excited for you and hope it works and you get your BFP :)

Had egg collection today - 5 eggs for them to fertiliise. They said bit disappointing, but just hoping they all fertilise - as they say only 70% do on average. Then sat or mon transfer if one good embryo there to put back in! Slept lots. Felt calm all day which is good. Feel like this is the first month in a year or so I have a chance.

Lychees · 16/03/2011 17:25

Hope the stimming is going well, Keziah.

Hi All, Thanks Keziah for adding me again, I have updated the stats but think I may have a very long cycle this month whilst my body (hopefully) rights itself...... Will be reading through the posts to see how you all are but wishing you all luck this month x

fr00bat I have PCOS & would recommend the book "A Complete Guide to PCOS". It was really useful to me when I was first diagnosed and gave me ways to try and control symptoms whilst waiting for treatment. I can't remember author but will look it out for you if you're interested. Good that you're on the road to a daignosis though.

littlefan glad you're feeling better.

Loup so so sorry. Glad you're trying to stay positive. x

First blood test was on Friday. Have another 2 scheduled in - 21 day and then 30 day (ish)to check for ovulation I think(?) It was great that my GP got this going so quickly. Had a gorgeous male trainee doctor actually taking the blood - fantastic distraction! Wink

Feeling in a better frame of mind now.

Hi folks, took leave of abscence after last 60 day cycle - but back with the programme now. THe gadget started demanding sticks D9 and so far low-high-high, so much better than last time. Blood tests are apparently "normal" according to GPreceptionist - but unable to give me the numbers via phone - need to make appointment to discuss!! Had ultrasound of pelvis today - multiple small follicles consistent with PCO - as suspected. Husband has hot date with a pot in a week or so - have to make appointment for it! At least is outside this months window - I hope. Had read a lot of Keziah's advice - so he is on brazil nuts and supplements - will see how we get on. Feel strangley chilled so far this month - so relieved that AF came - just wanted to reset and start again. Also charting this month, tried last cycle - but have completely confused fertility friend with dodgy cycle.
Ho hum, onwards and upwards.....
Do you think KY and dildocam will cause any problems for the next few days attempts?? Had heard KY was not a good idea??
Fingers crossed for Keziah, thinking of you.
Off for Brew, xx

SlightlyBabyCrazed · 14/03/2011 19:55

Hi duffegg. The first month you may not get a peak at all, as the machine is getting used to you, so best advice is keep SWI every other day this cycle - carry on with charting if you do it.

I am on my 3rd cycle on the monitor and it has given me my first peaks this month (I have had hormone/pcos issues though so not typical)

Have you been doing OPKs or BBT charting, or just the EWCM checking? It may be that you don't ovulate at day 14, very few of us seem to!

Hi All, and welcome to scoobielou.

Think I am now officially in the 2WW, a bit excited/nervous as it actually feels like I could actually conceive now I have had my prolactin sorted and managed to register peak on the CBFM!

Keziah how's it all going?

Good Luck Everyone x

chocciechip · 13/03/2011 12:20

tilly I've used the CBFM for over two years. In the first year I got a BFP in the second month of trying, which ended in a MMC a couple of months later. We had another BFP 8 months later (again, second month of tryng), which ended in an early MC/possible ectopic. I hadn't used anything except the CBFM throughout this time. I then had 13 months before the 3rd BFP which is still (fingers crossed) viable. We had been lulled into a false sense of our own fertility because of the two quick results the previous year, and panic set in very fast, with me trying ever god-forsaken 'odds-improver' going based on nothing more than public opinion and not much real evidence. I was almost making myself sick with despair, and charting the whole way through too. I plateaued out after about 10months of still no BFP into a sense of dull miserable resignation and 'what will be will be' and cut out all the 'remedies' and stuck to diet, vitamins, and light exercise. A frank honest talk with a consultant helped get my head straight and me to 'get real'. When we got our third BFP a few months later, all I was using was the CBFM - I'd also stopped charting in that month. So I swear by the CBFM.

amum I was wishing for a different result for you, but am glad AF has finally arrived and you're at the starting gate again. Avoiding early testing is one of the hardest things to do when TTC, but having had one experience similar to yours, I genuinely think its healthier for the heart and soul to not test early. I am sorry for the heartache and dissappointment you've had. It's awful.

MiniH · 13/03/2011 10:32

I think AF is imminent, which I'm ok about. I'd obviously much rather have a bfp but as I definitely ov this month that's at least a good start. Am a bit concerned about my cycle suddenly getting so long as was clockwork pre-pill but am going to wait one more cycle to see whether was a one off before going to dr (will also bring me to 12 months ttc so fits well). Kind of looking forward to resetting monitor now.

Good luck to everyone

boba82 · 13/03/2011 09:28
