100 years

so sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly Sad
hope you feel better soon.

We have had a snowy day, well snowy morning. when i walked out my door we had no snow, by the time i'd de iced my car it was snowing, and when i eventually made it to school we had really heavy snow which layed properly.

As a result i was late for school, but then so were most of the children so it didnt matter.
The day seemed chaotic as as we have to offer free play all the time we were constantly helping the 3 year olds into the water prrofss / coats / hats / scarfs / gloves / wellies, and then changing them back again when cold.

The forecast for tonight is heavy snow all night, so not sure if we will make it in at all tomorrow or not. (Tuesday is my worst day of the week so I'm hoping not!), but we will see!

Hope everyone else has had a good day?

No more baby making news here...
am just partiently waiting for AF so we can start properly TTC! Smile

Hey everyone,

Feeling really really rotten today, poorly sick, OH is trying to cheer me up, and has been doing his usual stuff that makes me laugh etc, it's just ended up with me in tears :( I just want to hibernate till I'm all better.

strawberrypie · 29/11/2010 10:49

and I can't type, oops

strawberrypie · 29/11/2010 10:48

Hi everyone,

Hope everything went well for WYorks over the weekend!

Like people have already said bebe- better no tennants than those who might wreck the joint and bugger off. Fingers crossed you find somebody else soon though x

Get well soon 100years, no fun being ill especially with all the emotional upheaval at the moment :(

Envy Quod! I'm sure the plane will be ok :)

I had a lovely weekend visiting OHs parents- wwent to see a band and had a lovely day looking round a farm that had animals and shops with lots of crafty things.

On the downside ! am still having to ride by bike to work and things are getting interesting now that it is snowing here!

nannyl · 28/11/2010 21:44

hello whywait

wow so AF is officially late and you havent tested.
I think you need a medal for being very restrained...
Hope AF doesnt arrive, although if it does we will be trying at almost the same time next month!

Good luck x

100years · 28/11/2010 13:16

Good morning all.

I'm all lurgified again :( Lost my voice and coughing again, feeling really lousy, only one more shift to go then a few days off, just hope I can get through. AF still not got me fully yet. I think I have sorted it in my head, was only the first proper month trying, still we get to do more trying next month, lots of birthday sex!!! Grin

Bloody freezing here. OH had gone up north for a race, spent loads on travel, B&B etc and the race was cancelled this morning :( So he's on his way home.

bebejones · 28/11/2010 09:24

Very Very icy here! Looks so pretty (not as pretty as snow! Can't help it, I love it, and actually don't mind driving in snow Hmm not fond of driving in the dark when it's raining heavily though!)

Nannyl - you are so organised! I have all presents bought, but haven't found the will to write all the cards yet!

Agree (sort of) about not wanting people like that as tenants...but just really need people in there. Just sick of DHs constant black mood & snapping :(

Good morning all

OMG what a cold one it is.... currently -9 at our local bbc weather point (about 5 miles from here) Shock

WYorks hope you had a fab wedding day,

Bebe sorry to hear about your rude tennants and agree you probably had a lucky escape... would you want people with suhc low moral standards living in your property?

Good luck to WW and 100y keep us posted, am thinking of you Smile

Hope everyone has a nice relaxing sunday.
Im not up to much, finished all the paper work for all my children for this term last night.
Need to write my Xmas cards today ready for posting on 1st.

bebe you have no need to be Envy of snow... it has now become nasty ice [grr]

thankfully the raods were well gritted and even the smaller ones cleared so its just the pavements (and our ungritted cul de sac!) that are leathal!

Quodlibet · 27/11/2010 16:46

Just wanting to wish WYorks a happy wedding day.

Sorry everyone's been generally feeling under the weather/having so much snow related hassle. We're desperately hoping it holds off here in London as we're flying out on Tuesday eve for our really really really long overdue holiday! It would be a right pain if planes get grounded again because of snow!

Bebe, maybe if your tenants are that ridiculously flakey you had a lucky escape with them in the long run!

Right, got to steel myself to go out in the cold to buy my niece an xmas pressie!

Well I didn't test this morning as I had some bleeding last night, there is no blood this morning, but it often happens like this for me. Had a little cry last night when I mentioned it to OH, just the wait now for AF to properly arrive then it's take 2!!! I am gutted, as I really want it, and as soon as possible, but I'm doing better in my head than I thought I would be.

We have had a dusting of snow here, not much but enough to make it look white and pretty for a while, went to the farmers market and there was a real reindeer and a donkey there! Very cool.

Working tonight, have a bit of a cough and a bit of a croak off and on, so I'm slightly under the weather, but as yet no near fainting.

jbells · 27/11/2010 09:35

have a lovely wedding day wyorks :)

bebejones · 27/11/2010 09:31

Happy Wedding Day WYorks!! Really hope the snow isn't disruptive for you & is just a nice free decoration!! Wink

Nannyl - so Envy of your snow! I must be the only person I know who wants/likes it & we have a dusting but not anything significant at all! :(

Happy wedding day w York here in w Yorks I have real snow and 4cast snow all day so I hope everyone makes it and u get some lovely photos,

100years · 26/11/2010 22:10

Hey gals,

I'm home again, worked the rest of my shift, just feeling 'off colour' all day, have no idea what's wrong. Test done was a BFN but I'm not due on yet and it was a cheapy test that said it's 99% accurate the day after a missed period, so I'm not thinking either way at the moment, prob not pg, but it's not confirmed until AF visits really. Feel really knackered and tired. Not sure what's wrong, all I know is I'm not 100%. Will shut up about it now.

I can't believe the change in the weather, I have had to defrost my car 6 times in the past 3 days, in the morning before work, then when I'm coming home again, the day before yest I finished at 6pm and still had to defrost it then!

Good luck and have a fab day tomorrow WYorks :)

How is everyone else?

Bebe, you're having rotten luck at the moment :( Hugs.

AstroZola · 26/11/2010 19:36

jbells · 26/11/2010 18:58

evening all

bebe- thats sucks youd think common decency wud prevail and that they wud tell u if they were no longer interested, y dont u get a cheap chippy instead, and try and convince DH to sit down and eat it with u

100years- how u feeling? i passed out last wk i was diagnosed with complicated faints a few months ago had to have brain scan and dif tests but everythin seemed ok, so horrible, hope u r feeling better now

astro- i am with u on hating the snow, we have had some here today, the worst thing is most my family lived in malta and it is 21c ova there :(

AstroZola · 26/11/2010 18:46

100years - do hope you feel better soon...sounds awful

bebe - i'm terribly sorry to hear that you're feeling so bad and going through these things...is there any way you can try and get DH to talk to you about what's on his mind? or could you just make him listen to you by talking at him about everything? x

we have snow here in South Wales now and it sucks and i'm working all weekend...it took me 45mins extra to get home tonight...not looking forward to driving to work in it tomorrow...i hate the snow...we also had a puncture this morning so was late for work...pah!!
