I apologise because I know this has been asked before but I just couldn't find any relevant threads.

Yesterday I did an Asda hpt and I got a very very faint positive but it was after the 3 minute time rule and somewhere within 20 mins. Today I did a test first thing and got a line within 6 mins. The line is still faint but much stronger than yesterday

I'm really confused and don't know what to think because it tells you to read you rseult at 3 mins and don't read after 15 minutes. So what is this no man's land in between 3-15 minutes? Does a line count as positive if shown in that time. This is driving me crazy!!!

Thanks JRsandCoffee. HCG jag was bit nippy but I'd take one every day if it helps me have a healthy pregnancy. Going for a scan next Wednesday x

My hcg count had risen from 65 to over 600 in 4 days.

I know I'm not out of the woods yet but for today anyway, I'm happy x

I know how you feel, I have a friend who blithely told me yesterday how he just seemed to have to look at his wife and bingo.........I did growl that not everyone was so bloody lucky..... and he flailed about in a most satisfactory mortified fashion....

A positive story......Another friend of mine spent getting on for four years to produce her no:2 in her mid 30's. 18 months of nothing followed by MC, another 18 months of nothing followed by another MC and then shortly afterwards she got pregnant with her daughter, was terrified she'd lose her again for I think similar reasons to you but didn't, she stayed and she is just beautiful! So, wishing you all good luck and positive thoughts, I really hope that all goes to plan.

Hope you are doing ok x

Alibobster · 18/11/2010 22:34

Thanks Nurse47 I'll keep you updated. It's terrible to say but I get really pissed off at people who just get pregnant when they decide to. I'm trying hard not to be bitter but sometimes it's so difficult.

I'm so lucky to have my ds, he is the light at the end of my horrible ttc tunnel!

thanks Lissielou but I've been here before and I know what the outcome will be.When the midwife phoned me i actualy wanted her to tell me my level was under 25 and no longer pg, at least I would have known where I stood. Instead I have to wait till Monday for a repeat test.

ttc is a head f**k. I Feel like such a failure

it was 4 years ago now. i struggled to conceive first time as i had 2 mc's and it took over a year to get pg each time. i then had dd1 in feb 08 and found out i was pg with dd2 in oct08. it was a real shock, was on the mini pill and breastfeeding.

Alibobster · 18/11/2010 10:19

Thank you pud. I'm very sorry to hear about your m/c. Hope you're doing ok x

i had a faint line. went to the dictors for a proper test and the nurse did a test with my first sample of the morning. it was still faint but she told me a line is a line ad i was pg. the gp sent my sample off to be tested but unfortunatly i started to bleed and mc before the results came through. was pg though. fingers crossed for you

Alibobster · 18/11/2010 10:01
