Hi ive been posting on the miscarrage forum but now feel ready to start all over again!
My story, Had my first MMC in nov 2007, followed by an erpc (worst moment of my life) this was my first pregnancy and i felt robbed. Waited for two periods and got pg with my little DD in feb 2008, i had a great pg and birth but was on constant knicker alert. We decided when she was two we would like another baby to add to the familiy, we decided to try in sept this year and got pg first time! (very shocked) I was so hoping this would be my time to have a stress free pg and actually enjoy the experience! How wrong i was, i started to spot at six weeks had a scan which showed a sac but no baby, i then enjoured the worst two week of my life by having scan and blood tests. I was told on the 8th on nov the pregnany was not going to continue and i had a blighted ovum, and on the 9th i had a erpc. I have recovered well and stopped bleeding the day after the procedure. I went to see my doc last week who told me i could start ttc asap as long as i feel up to it?? anyone else ttc straight away, last time i was told to wait and i did but this time i have read that there is no lit to say wait apart from to date the pg?? Im hoping there are some people who can share there experiences and someone who wants to join me!

just to add, didnt have to move much, i meant from down stairs up as i was in bed!! Lol

MrsB33 · 03/01/2011 23:45

hi ladies, hope your all well this evening.
Manaman, the hangover was hell meant spending two days in bed recovering, much to the delight of my dh as he was able to watch watver he wanted on his new 47 inch tv!! Men ay!!
A plus point of being hungover and in bed for two days it was also my fertile window so meant i didnt have to move a great deal.
Been using my pre-seed which my dh found slightly amusing as its, excuse TMI very (wet) and in his words, aids a smoother ride!! Lol.

Fingers crossed it all works, were looking at booking a late honeymoon in may so it better happen soon, dont want to fly during the first 12 weeks.

Nurse, where are you planning on holidaying?
waves to all x

manamana · 03/01/2011 23:18

Mrsb hangover was hell wasn't it, although also quite cathartic to think that the sickness etc was self inflicted. Hope you did get a lie-in, I did courtesy of my lovely mil.

Wombat - loving the mad shagging and leg action. I have been trying to be a bit more spontaneous so will be taking inspiration from your antics, thanks!

Broughthim, hope you're managing to focus on looking forward to the holiday. Are you going to get down to tic business while you're there?

Nurse, sorry to hear about af but well done for not testing, I am due tomorrow in my imaginary back to normal straight away world so will more than likely want to test by end of week if nothing arrives.

Kitkey, made me laugh with image of a pre seed waterfall of sperm! Hope you get a smiley face soon, and everyone else who is testing, I am trying to just focus on regular swi (back home yesterday so normal service has resumed! Night off tonight so can get lots of sleep before stress of work tomorrow). Although I am just fooling myself that I'm not overanalysing every twinge as I am currenlt toying with the idea that I am constipated, my first pg symptom every time!

nurse47 · 03/01/2011 19:16

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Nurse - so sorry that AF got you, but at least you know you are regular I suppose. Onto next month with the opk. Good luck

Wombat sorry no smiley face on the tests this month for you - maybe you just tested at the wrong time of day and SWI was spot on. I don't think I am going to get a smiley face this month either - I use the cheap tests until they go positive then confirm with a smiley face but the cheap ones don't even have a hint of second line and I usually have fade in pattern with them getting darker until they are positive. I feel my ovaries are sleeping - probably due to the overeating over xmas - no twinges etc. I think I have EWCM today but we are bding every other day so who know what it is (sorry if that is TMI)Blush

Yellow and Manamana - you are doing heroically on the SWI - are you using OPKS?

Haven't used preseed yet as last time i used it, I think I used too much and after DTD, even though I read my book for an hour laying down after I'm sure it made all the spermies fall out when I stood up - well thats my excuse for not being pregnant from the ovulation straight after the mc

Got to go and get the shopping in again now - feel like I live at the supermarket.

nurse47 · 02/01/2011 20:44

HAPPY NEW YEAR LADIES!

Well i didnt test on nye as i didnt think i was pg and didnt want to feel fed up with seeing a negative test, anyway i came on today bang on 28 days. So onto next month for me! got some digi ov tests off ebay in my bid to get pg as quick as poss (not that im obsessed, ha who im i kidding its all i think about at the moment)

Wombat i admire you i can never be bothered bicycle legging and i think my dh would think im mad! Brought i bet your looking forward to your hols? We are going to book a holiday now for june for my birthday which im glad as need something to look forward too!

broughthimroundtotheidea · 02/01/2011 19:26

Hi Ladies
I hope you are all full of the joys of the festivities :)
Love the bicycle legging start to the year wombat start as you mean to go on......!
I guess this is the first month now that most of us are ttc, altough I am not really will after my next AF, then that should take me into feb when we are going to florida, If I had fell this month I would have been scared to go on the rides. So good luck all!!xxxx

winterwombatland · 02/01/2011 05:33

mrsb - if you manage to log on while SWI, I will be seriously impressed with that multi-tasking!

Hope your and mana's hangovers are subsiding and you get a lay-in this morning. Back to work for us today -boo.....

No smiling faces on the OPK sticks for me this month so not sure if I didn't ov, have ov'd late or just didn't time it right (yellow - ta for advice re: POAS in the afternoon but the instructions say you shouldn't pee for 4 hours before POAS and my bladder would never allow me to do that in the afternoon!). However, did get a random bit of EWCM yesterday so grabbed DH for a v amusing bit of SWI - had to be quick as we were due out and had to be quiet as cleaner and friends were around which of course makes you giggle even more. He performed heroically leaving me to do bicycle legs in the air! I don't think it was the right time ov wise, but made for an amusing start to 2011 Grin.

Happy new year ladies! x

MrsB33 · 02/01/2011 00:11

manamana, think your new year is an eco of mine, ive been in bed all day today recovering from last nyts drinking!! Never again, im t-total now, that will give people sumut to talk about!! Lol.
Whats you ttc stats? Im currently day 12 now and expecting to ov over the next 2 days for getting plenty of swi in over the next two days...
Even today in my hungover state!!!
Happy new year and welcome to welly, waves to all.
Sorry havent had to catch yp with you all, will log on tomorrow mid swi to update!! He he....

manamana · 01/01/2011 23:51

Bedroom activity is postponed until we get home now as we are at inlaws with v thin walls! Yellow, sounds like you are taking over at the top of the class Wink.
Happy new year everyone, hope the alcohol helped rather than depressed. I had a good cry with some v good friends and had a lot of fun getting v v drunk and playing sing star, I truly have the worst voice in the world. today I am more hungover than I've been in a v long time! Have decided to go t-total now for ttc and also to try and shift some of the spare tyre accumulated during this 3 months of excess eating to combat morning sickness.
Nurse, hope you're ok.
Strawberry, just echoing what others have said - I am trying to expect body to be all over the place at the moment but am sure that I will be shaken up by whatever surprises are in store. If I return to my28 day cycle and take erpc as day 1 I think I'm due on Tuesday, first day back at work... Crap timing as I am not sure what would make me happy. Af would be good as cycle back on track but would be obviously not pg. No af good as could be pg but I guess more likely that cycle squewed, ah, well, think I will plan a nice lunch out to give me something to look forward to.
Anyway, am rambling for longer than had planned NEED to get to sleep.
Just will join wellie and thank everyone for your support and wish for BFPs for everyone in 2011.
X

wellieboots · 31/12/2010 18:10

Happy new year wishes to everyone when it comes. Here's to a 2011 full of BFPs and happiness for all of us. Thanks so much for your support and welcome x

winterwombatland · 31/12/2010 14:23

yellow - good to hear that the experiment went well - all things crossed your generous hostessing does the trick Grin

mana - top marks from me too. YOu go girl!

strawberry - hope your possible AF isn't giving you too much cause for alarm over the NY - we will try and give as much helpful advice as we can. It seems to be a case of anything goes in the first few weeks post ERPC

star - ditto - hope it's not worrying you too much.

Well, off for quick run in a mo pre NY eve beauty preparations. Wishing you all a truly wonderful night tonight and all the very best for super fertile bits and super sticky beans for us all in 2011! xx

yellowtomato · 31/12/2010 11:50

Sorry this will be quick cos on phone
manamana I am impressed with your stamina, go to the top of the class for effort! I don't think booze makes any difference at this early stage so carry on is my advice!

What poas news nurse?

I will be having another go tonight to get the numbers up Grin

Happy New Year to you all, let's hope 2011 is a fertile one!

StrawberryCreamTea · 31/12/2010 09:29

Hi all, hope you've had a lovely Christmas.

Have been a bit scarce in posting terms as am away from home (and having to type on iPhone) but have been reading all your posts and keeping an eye on you all.

Bit confused today with the arrival of what might be AF (when I was expecting EWCM, hence the confusion!) but will post a few more details next week to get your opinions on whether it really is!

Was popping in too to wish nurse luck, if I remember rightly you're planning some poas action today? (or in the next couple). FX for a BFP for you! x

Waves and Happy New Year wishes to everyone else.

Speak next week x Xmas Grin

manamana · 31/12/2010 00:26

Excellent yellow, I hope my previously v fertileness rubs off on you ;-) and that it reappears for this time. Dh and I have been at it every few days since bleeding stopped so fingers crossed but am also consuming a lot of alcohol so would be relieved if not, qlthoughthis time 6 years ago ds1 was conceived during my most drunken Xmas! Sound like all should be v comfy in your innards at the moments so fingers crossed!

Am sending good vibes to your ovaries wombat!

Star, no help at all from me but just wanted to say yippee Florida will be so exciting.

Night all x

Star82 · 30/12/2010 13:20

Hi Kitkey!

Glad your af has arrived....all good news. Has it's arrival alleviated you fear off Ashermans??
Still no news here. It will be 7 weeks on sunday. I've been peeing on the odd ovulation stick when i can remember :) and no EWCM that i've been aware of. It seems just whiteish and has been like this ever since the op. Assume i'll be waiting another couple of weeks for mine unless i've missed an ovulation sign. I'm not very good at spotting signs so i may have missed something. I'm not too worried but i don't like using condoms and don't want to go back on the pill, to have to come back off in april when we plan to ttc. Obviously, this is causing an issue of when i could be fertile as we are trying to avoid getting pregnant at the mo as want to go away to Florida end of may/beginning of June and i want to be able to go on all the rides etc there.
Will keep you posted!!

Hi everyone!! Hope you're all well and wish you all a very happy new year!!!! xxx

yellowtomato · 30/12/2010 09:57

Morning all

tee hee wombat not a stalker at all!

Well I'd never used any kind of lubricant before and well it does....erm....lubricate! Grin I used less than they recommend and I still think it was a bit too much but DP didn't notice...I think he just thought I was more up for it than usual (is that tmi? Blush

So I think I am def the hostess with the mostess what with all my EWCM and pre-seed. They should be having a lovely time.......

Re ov sticks, I've read that the morning is not the best time to test, it is the afternoon that is more accurate? Maybe you should just get started on an every other day regime until you can't take it anymore or af arrives!

manamama it is amazing how obsessed interested we can become in the contents of our pants! I am jealous of you getting pg so quickly, I've had plenty of time for an in-depth study! I'm hoping hanging out with more fertile people will rub off on me.

Anyone else got any SWI/EWCM info to share?

winterwombatland · 30/12/2010 07:18

Good to hear from you all ladies.

Mana and kitkey Shock re: comments you are receiving! YOu sound as if you are both being quite stoic about it so well done - I think I would have reverted to GBH by now if I was you!

yellow - hope this doesn't make me a cyber stalker Blush, but dying to know how the pre-seed experiment went! Did you manage it without DP realising?! With that and the EWCM around, the little swimmers will be in 7th heaven! V Envy re: Toulouse - sounds fab.

sparkly - definitely hope from xmas eve SWI - apparently they can keep going for up to 3 days! If show of greed is sign of pg, I must be pg most of the time Grin

Still nothing for me on ov front - got another blank face on POAS this morning and no sign of EWCM - come on ovaries - buck up!

manamana · 29/12/2010 20:10

Lost end of my message - wanted to say hi to everyone else x

manamana · 29/12/2010 20:08

Thanks for all your messages

Kitkey, sorry you're having the same trouble with your mother. Its really upsetting isn't it. She continued in the same vein this morning over breakfast in front of everyone else... I just don't answer any questions about whether we're going to try again, I generally try and not answer any of her questions about any aspect of my life! We are actually at my inlaws now which is lovely, I feel so happy and relaxed here - my mil is brilliant and v supportive so will be looked after. Good luck with timing with dh away, I have similar prob in Jan as dh has a couple of long business trips...

Sparky, loving the fact that you have names sorted, I love name palnning.

Wombat - have a great time with your friends. She has been through the mill hasn't she, what a git!

Mmm yellow, toulose sounds great. I had my sushi fix when I went Xmas shopping in Brighton and have stuffed my face with soft cheese and pate over the whole of xmas. Woo-hoo for ewcm, I have been really lucky in the past getting pg 1st or 2nd cycle of ttc so haven't got to grips with ovulation symptoms but who knows what will happen this time, I am certainly far more interested in state of my pants at the moment so who knows what I'll learn about my body!

wellieboots · 29/12/2010 12:56

morning all and thanks for the messages - mamamama that is just horrific, hope you are feeling better now that you are away from the situation, I have found family the hardest thing - it may just be that they don't know what to say and end up saying crazy stuff, but it is so hard, big hug to you

hello to everyone else!

Sparklywine · 29/12/2010 11:30

Oooh, and it was late on Christmas Eve, there is hope! I know it's the dreaded 2ww before I can test but doesn't stop me doing it just incase, and I find the process strangely relaxing! feed cats take hubby tea in bed wee on stick....I shall do one on NY day just for a treat, they're only cheapy Amazon ones!

Had a flit around MN looking at pre-seed comments, seems a mixed bag but it hasn't actually stopped anyone getting pregnant by the looks of it, so why not? Seems mostly a far better substitute to KY and the like, with someone saying it could encourage the sperm on their journey, though eggwhite (boak) has a similar effect apparently.

Just had a craving for a kitkat, a show of greed which marked my previous pregnancy, so now taking this as a sign . Not sure why I feel so broody today, but at least am happy with it, and excited about the journey, which is a significant step forward for me. Hope you are all approaching this mindset more or less and that the passage of time is making things look rosier. I know it's still very raw for you Wellies but hope you derive some comfort from our bouyant over-sharing Grin

yellowtomato · 29/12/2010 11:20

sparkly I meant to also say that on another thread I am on a lot of the women got their BFP from the 'wrong' position Grin

yellowtomato · 29/12/2010 11:09

hello sparkly I'm v confused about the pre-seed now....I thought it was something to do with altering the PH making it more alkaline or more like the 'perfect' environment...not sure though...

I think Xmas Eve would be fine for a boxing day ov, i think they need about 12 hours to get to the right place or something? Hmm should have listened more in biology!

I think NY day would be too soon for a positive if you did ov on boxing day......I think it is 5 to 8 days to implantation and erm....well i thought the earliest you'd get a BFP would be 5 days before AF?

kitkey you're right, the more I eat the more hungry I am. But how to break the cycle!!! Hope you manage to coordinate with your DH to dtd at the right time.
