I think I'll leave it a couple more cycles before going to see my GP. I mentioned to her that I was TTC last time I was there and she said that as we are fairly young (DH and I are both 29) that we should just give it time. I got the impression that she wouldn't do any investigations until we'd been trying for much longer. Although 6 cycles feels long, I suppose it isn't really.

I've just looked at the length of my last 6 cycles:

As it's not the same every month, does this mean it is irregular? I think I might start charting. I'm going to look online for a thermometer, is there a particular one to get?

I was so upset last month, but am doing my best to be positive and try again this month, but I will be even more upset if AF arrives in a couple of weeks.

If you are worried about things, best to visit the gp, if just to start getting things underway.

MrsDen really sorry about AF. I was really miserable (again) when AF last arrived and despite endless baby comments from relatives over Christmas (which made me feel throughly worthless) I feel much better this week .

I've definitely started thinking something must be wrong and whilst I can't get that out of my mind there isn't anything I can do about it at this stage. So will just keep trying.

Don't know if that helps, but lots of hugs for 2011 - it will be our year!

Sorry about AF MrsDen, don't worry yet atall, just keep trying. 6 cycles feels like an eternity I am sure but it isn't all that long, it will happen for you soon I'm sure.

Over in the raven household it is a SWI-a-thon. Starting to get sore bits and no sign of a +ve OPK or any EWCM, so will just keep going!!

Feeling positive about 2011. 2010 was pants all in all.

I have just returned from visiting relatives for Christmas so this is my first chance to catch up on news from the bus. I was hoping that I might have good news for you this month but it looks like AF is on her way for me.

I was hopeful because I have had really sore boobs since Boxing day. I normally get them for 2 days the week before AF but never for this long. Also I have had loads of EWCM for the last few days which is unusual for me at this point in the cycle. Anyway, I went to bed last night feeling all hopeful. And then I dreamt that AF turned up. When I woke up I was so relieved it was a dream but then I went to the toilet and wiped and there it was, brown blood on the tissue. I now feel that familiar achey AF feeling so I know she will turn up some time soon. DH is at work all day today and I feel so fed up. I've just had a big cry and am going to curl up on the sofa for the rest of the day and watch TV with a big tin of Roses at my side.

This was our 6th cycle. I'm starting to worry that maybe there is something wrong and it will never happen for us. I'm sure I'll be back to thinking more positively once AF turns up and then rocks off.

Sorry for the long post, I just needed someone to talk to and I can't talk to anyone in RL.

Just updating the list, noticed MrsSatsuma on the October bus.

Hi Vegas , testing on day 24 doesn't sound like too much of a lapse to me, sounds perfectly reasonable. I'm also going to POAS next weekend - we could pee together

I'm occasionally crampy in my tummy, for instance have got a buzzy pain in my left side now, but have got no changes in my boobs. I did fall asleep on the sofa this pm but I suspect that was more to do with post-entertaining exertions.

I'm about to put up a general post as urgently need some advice re something that OH has sprung on me.

symptom spotting has now kicked in. think i have been feeling some tiny cramps last night and today. this was the first symptom i had this time 2 years ago so i may just have trapped wind and be optimistic.

i got my bfp at 11dpo on 31st December last time, am trying to wait till Monday at earliest to get the tempting internet cheapies out!
