Sorry to all those with hideous BFN's...they really do suck dont they Sad

Right well, I am going to take your advice and contact the GP tomorrow morning. I work in the hospital I hope to give birth in so will hand over the referral to antenatal myself. I know how things " get lost " Grin.
Im ok. Feeling not hungry and faintly nauseous but not much really. I am having abdominal discomfort though. Like AF pains I suppose. No not pains, discomfort was right. Lots of stuff happening " downthere " keep thinking AF has arrive Blush.

So today just taking it easy, sorting out the girls room and doing washing I think. I will get the ball rolling tommmorrow. Smile thanks ladies !

nickstermum · 14/11/2010 07:44

Ladies, just confirming that thanks to temps, opk's and furtling I have in fact ovulated and am now officially on the 2ww Grin

Now where are those brazil nuts?

getawiggleon · 13/11/2010 22:50

Just popping in to say hello and woop woop to dachs and the six eggs! A friend of mine chose to put one back and wishes she'd gone for two. She has a gorgeous ds now though. Fingers crossed for some more good news next week :)
We're watching X Factor on delay this eve so have yet to see what delights Wagner has in store this week...

Freezingmyarseoff · 13/11/2010 22:45

LadyBee sorry that AF got to you, and you're feeling so down about the year. Quite understandable though.

Great news dachs on the eggs.

Keep concentrating on non mentalling Fondant, I'm right there with you

now I've marked my spot on the new thread can you ladies please slow down Grin

Ladybee · 13/11/2010 21:55

velvet I'd say being still 0.5 degrees above cover at 12dpo is pretty good. I've never had implantation bleeding so don't know what that would be. I've got my fingers crossed for you though.

dachs I completely agree with going for twins. I know it's more risky but I think they'd observe you so carefully. I do remember when DS was a newborn turning to DH and saying 'I can't believe we joked about wanting twins', but having talked to parents of twins I think you just get on with it, like you do with a singleton, because you have no choice. Anyway, this is all jumping the gun, one step at a time huh? Hope everything continues well, and remember, all it takes is one.

Today was hard. Moving DS into his big boy room was something I'd planned when I got pg earlier this year. It just really underlined the passing of time and how we've been trying for over a year with nothing but two failed pregnancies. It also stirred up the old conversations about what we want to do in terms of staying in the UK/returning to NZ and what impact that has on what we do with the house etc. It just feels like this year has been a complete washout, and that's so depressing.

And there are piles of things EVERYWHERE now, including on our bed...so better go shift things so I can climb into bed. We've decided to run away from the chaos for a while tomorrow and go to the Nat His museum.

PinkFondantFancy · 13/11/2010 18:51

Just wanted to send a little wave, I'm ok thanks just trying to stop myself from full-on mentalling so it's taking all of my concentration.... Am convinced AF is on her way as period pain type cramping is getting stronger and boobs have deflated :( will be back for a proper catch up in next couple of days. Just a quickie tho, v v excited for dach defo push for two, twins would be amazing!!!

kat2504 · 13/11/2010 15:51

Taking a break from work and swi to catch up! Pleased to hear such promising news from dachs, fingers crossed! I would definitely not mind twins either. Would mean no more ttc stress ever again. Have twin brothers so does run in the family.

Izzy hope you get lucky before due date. I know that I'll be much less upset by the date if I am diffed again. If I manage it this month I'll have the 12 week scan before due date if it worked out. Would be worth a sober Xmas for that. With any luck the cbfm will help!

Mummy A hope you have a good journey and all the best with the op, hope it is not too painful or unpleasant and you have a quick recovery

great news Dachs on your 6 little successes. Fx for you this week.

It's 12 dpo for me and the brown stuff has almost all gone but I think it was too heavy to be implantation bleeding so I'm expecting AF over the next day or so (due on Tues according to FF) which gives me a 29 day cycle - much better than 42! No point in symptom spotting - I have all the usual AF/early pg stuff going on so you never can tell which is rubbish. Temps are still 0.5 above cover line but have dropped by 0.1 for the past 2 days - is this a significant difference?

Enjoy your Saturday ladies :)

Ladybee · 13/11/2010 15:05

Hi ladies - well she got me, AF arrived as usual 30 mins after POAS. Have been busy doing the big shift most of the morning which is not so easy with a small boy trailing around asking "do you want to play with me?" feeling very down again, all the usual stuff so won't go through it again?

Am on borrowed iPad so can't do list so can someone update stats

LadyBee TTC#2, cycle 4 (round 3) UCL27 CD1

Fertilityfriend set up my new cycle stats, didn't know wheher to laugh or cry to see that my predicted ovulation is day before birthday when i have invited friends around for lunch and next period due day after Christmas. That's just ripe for huge expectation and disappointment isn't it. am very tempted not to even try this month as I'm not sure I can face those dates with the added emotional baggage.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/11/2010 14:20

Hee hee wombat I too remember those days of thinking we had some element of control over the timing! Both times we aimed for March and dcs are September and August respectively Confused. Fwiw, dd (august baby) is the youngest and littlest in the whole school and she is keeping up with the others, full of confidence and absolutely loving it, so I wouldn't fret about it too much!

Updiffage this month would indeed scupper Xmas plans, which surely makes it more likely, but then again it would mean bfp before my due date (last chance) so I'm thinking that would be too lucky. Fx for us all x

tunnocks it's not over yet, problem is pg and af symptoms are too similar!! Chin up x

Whoo hoo!! Dachs! 6 fertilised - that's fab!! Keep us posted on whether we need our flashing suspenders on on Monday at 12 or Weds at 12.30 Grin

Mummya - hope your flight goes well!

Hello everyone else! Just updating quickly as PIL will be here any minute. Had dinner last night with a fiend who is 30wks. Was lovely to see her and chat babies for a bit, but as she and her hubby have no idea about our trials and tribulations it was a bit bitter sweet too.

It's CD10 here today and the SWI has begun. No EWCM but creamy (sorry for TMI) so I think we're heading that way. I've run out of OPKs though and the loss of 'control' is doing my nut!! Hmm DH has gone on an emergency run to buy more while I'm 'working'... :)

I have a good feeling about this month... DH is in the country for 10 days straight which has got to help, plus if I get a BFP this month it will balls up christmas parties and the baby would be youngest in its academic year at school, which we always hoped to avoid (back in the day when we were so naiive we thought we had some control over the process)... so it's got to happen this month, hasn't it?!?! Grin Hmm Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/11/2010 13:10

Ooh orange just noticed the biccies...yum!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/11/2010 13:03

dachs that's fab!!! Grin Grin Grin

My dsis also opted for two to go back: hers had divided really well and got to blastocyst so she was under a lot of pressure to just go with one, but stuck to her guns. I think secretly she too would have been quite pleased with twins - after 5.5 years ttc I think it would have been a relief to not have to worry about whether #2 would take as long iykwim. Hers didn't work out unfortunately but that was later and nothing at all to do with the ivf which worked great - both implanted. Fx you get two good ones and they go back on weds to make two mini-dachs ...

nickstermum · 13/11/2010 11:17

Yum posh m&s bids! Have just been there for tonights Chinese!

OrangeToeNails · 13/11/2010 11:01

Great news dachs that's good odds already from 9. Thanks for explaining [grateful grin]

We've decided to try but not get carried away 1st month with a view to snowboarding in Jan. Not quite so sorry for myself on way to gym might help. He's still convinced it'll happen straight away tho, hope he's right but don't want to feel a failure if not, and I know how difficult it is anyway not sure he does

Sorry, it's not all about me, and I know others have a lot more to deal with Blush

hope everyone's having a good morning

nickstermum · 13/11/2010 10:44

Fab news dachs Grin

DachshundsRule · 13/11/2010 09:11

I just had the call. 6 have fertilised. They will call me on Monday to let me know how they're looking. They'll either be going back in on Monday at 12 or Wednesday at 12.30

nickstermum · 13/11/2010 09:08

Can I claim the prize for poas action? Whole pack of 30 on the last ten days..... Opk's that is!! Tell u what, doing that I noticed the line get progressively darker!! Cheapies so that's ok :)

Only cos I was getting sporadic egg White Grin

Any news from Fondant?

DachshundsRule · 13/11/2010 08:59

thanks for all the good wishes and positive vibes everyone

I hope the eggs have been dividing nicely overnight

orangetn if they divide really badly they'll go back in today, if they form nice little embryos but not the very best quality they'll go back in on monday, if they are really good they leave them for an extra couple of days and put them in as 'blastocysts' rather than 8 cell embryos and that would be wednesday.

nicks you can only have a max of 2 put back unless you're much older than i currently am and I'm intending to have the two. Even if they are really good quality and get put back as day 5 blastocysts rather than day 3 embryos (80% chance of pg if they get that far in my age bracket) when they encourage you to put back 1 rather than 2 I want two.

I would actually like twins

Am currently trying to stay calm and wait for the call about whether any of them are actually developing, which will be 'some time this morning', but in reality i am sitting here almost gnawing my hand off with anxiety.

Now, back to you lot. POAS someone! We need a BFP in here. I am going to grant an amnesty from fish slapping to anyone who POAS ridiculously early for the next 3 weeks. :) Good luck all!

OrangeToeNails · 13/11/2010 08:55

nicks probably wherever is the cheap deal, not as far or good as Stowe. I just dont want to stop trying as it could take months. Sounds like your day's all sorted! You might not be going anywhere in Feb :)

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 13/11/2010 08:34

Morning all, hope you're having a good Saturday.

You'll be pleased to hear that after much wrestling last night the new mattress is fully in situ and is really, really comfy! Old mattress is going to the tip later but for the minute is on the living room floor where tge DCs are having far too much fun using it as a trampoline Grin

mummya thinking of you and hoping the flight goes well x

nicks are you like me and keep planning things for next year but thinking to yourself secretly that you hopefully probably won't be able to do them because of updiffage (please, please!)?

mamap are you back yet? Any news?

YRMOTB is AF still here or has it turned out to be something else?

Any POAS-ing from pink or jam or ladybee ?

Anyway will update the list - HK can't remember if you posted your stats and couldn't see them so please add yourself in if you want!
