Everyone will probably see this thread was started by me and think "Oh god, not her again".

You can tell it's getting towards that time of the month.

Anyway, on day 26 of cycle - have had a really dull tummy ache for last 2 days as if A/F is going to arrive - actually been going to the toilet to check it's that bad (Gross i know but i have to be graphic).
Woke up this morning feeling really sicky but thought i was just probably hungry as had not eaten last night - therefore went to the shop to buy a Mars Bar (Healthy, i know) and have now just thrown the whole mars bar back up again.

Is it just wishful thinking? Can't test yet as cycle's vary from 28 days to 38 days.

Hi Bigbird - good to hear from you! There aren't many of us here now! I don't really belong anywhere at mo, so hanging round where I know best and most of my pals are! - ttc!
Good luckall!!
Hi Jems, sounds terrible! You'll certainly deserve a big glass tomight! No hangover today, just had 2 glasses of champagne!!

BigBird · 28/08/2003 09:57

Hi all. I'm day 12 at the moment so busy bd'ing

I'd recommend the temping allright quacks. Its not expensive and easy to do and it really shows you a lot. This month I am temping but only have one opk left (I bought a pack of 7, used 4 the first month, 2 last month and hoping i'll guess the right day this month as i'm going to test later!!!) so from now on I won't bother with the OPK's - i'll just temp.

I hope everyone is in good form. Egypt & Jemma 7 and anyone else - good luck!

Jemma7 · 28/08/2003 09:36

Morning campers - How are we all doing today?
Having an awful day already!
Still no A/F but pretty sure it going to arrive today - got all the right pains - Great

Also, one of my members of staff is causing a problem - i really dislike her but she is good at her job so there isn't alot i can say to her - however, she has just been told to stop discuss private finacial matters i.e. wages and is now sitting with a face like thunder, slamming into her keyboard and slamming the phone down.
Some people really do try and test your patience (Sp)!

Oooh Egypt, sounds promising

quackers · 28/08/2003 08:34

Egypt, you sound in great form!! That's a good idea, I think I'll do the temp thing just for a month or 2 to make sure things are ok. Will go back to Doc's and ask for a day 2 test, just to put my mind at rest on that side. Things feel ok though reall, period is still here, alot lighter though and it was exactly 3 weeks after m/c so I'm pleased with that!
New car!! Yeh!
Now, funny u should say about your boobs. Not wanting to get your hopes up at all cos you can get achy boobs any time I suppose, but my boobs ached from about 2 days after conception when I was pg, every time. You never know, might be your time, if not you are certainly closer than ever before using these methods and your cm sounded spot on!

Egypt · 27/08/2003 20:51

Hi quackers, all is ok today thanks for asking. had a busy one, back at work and then travelling all way to manchester to pick up my new car So v happy now. Got q sore boobs, but just 2 days after ov. so thats q strange. I think a blood test at the docs would be a sensible thing for you to do. also keeps using persona or opks to get a good idea of your cycles again.. do you chart your temp? i find it is q revealing! this first month on clomid is the only time it has been classically shaped. So far.
dh travelling tonight, with work, so shall let him off for tonight!

quackers · 27/08/2003 08:47

Don't know what to do Egyptreally, might be best waiting until next AF and using Persona to see if ov ok. Like u say you're supposed to stop once surge is there so don't know what happens after that. I know there is always some LH in your body. I seem to be regular though and in line with the m/c for AF timing. Might be best just going ahead with blood tests and then see Doc. I'm just speculating and have no evidence yet. My AF is already slowing though. Was v heavy yesterday but nothing so far today. I do have light periods, always have though. Hope all ok today!!

Egypt · 26/08/2003 21:38

Hi quackers !
Was your LH high right up until AF? are you seeing the doc at all? When can you start trying again? Hope all is well!

quackers · 26/08/2003 21:33

Not at all!! No more than me! I meant all that BD'g!! Sounds like u ov'd then!!!! Nice one. Don't know what happened with my LH then ! All over the show, we'll see this month!

hewlettsdaughter · 26/08/2003 18:24

Hi, just wanted to say sorry about the negative test Jemma7. I hope things work out for you (and everyone else ttc) soon.

Egypt · 26/08/2003 18:15

Hi girls. Quackers - great news about AF, you can count down to OV now. Jems, so sorry again. No AF though? hopefully it will arrive soon (if you really are not pg) then you can get trying again.
Yes, had temp rise this morning quackers. thanks for asking. not sure if it was the real rise or just cos i was awake most of the night, fitfully dreaming and sweating. nice! could have been, have to see if its high again tomorrow. Why do you feel sorry for my DH quackers? Bless him, i do a bit too. is it cos i am being rather obsessive about timing bd? think i prob am.
anyway, 2ww now.

quackers · 26/08/2003 16:49

You never know! Don't feel that you're the only one, there are still loads of us here in the same boat. Just think of all the successes there have been and one day soon it will be you. Don't think of obsessing but knowledge is power and if u knew when ov was happening you would narrow down your window of opportunity and chances of success. Sometimes even the coolest peopel don't get pg because they just have no clue when they are ov'g. We can give u tons of help pinpointing this, hope you'll maybe try it, it might relax you anyway because you'll know what is happening and when. xxxx

Jemma7 · 26/08/2003 15:23

Ahh thanx chucks!
You never know quacks, we might be pg buddies when our time comes!

Typical, i have just spoken to my cousin and she has told me she is 3 months pg - due end of feb - I'm a very very pleased for her but it just makes everything that more noticable that it's not me!

Oh dear, feeling very sorry for myself aren't i

quackers · 26/08/2003 13:07

Oh Bunny, like that!! Jems, so sorry it wasn't your time. I does put so much pressure on you and hopefully you and your DH have got it all out in the open. It takes the fun out of it too. Stick to your plan and maybe use persona to get a good idea of your fertile bit, you just might have missed it. Everyone is diff and ov's on diff day and diff days each month, that's why you increase your chances with Persona/OPK's. Whe u want something badly it just doesn't come easily - well to most anyway and those who get it easily rarely appreciate it. You'll be a Mum soon and have the baby you deserve. I hope to try in about 8 weeks, in a nice way hope you're still here but I would be chuffed for you if you 'graduate'!
Not heard from Egypt, gosh feel sorry for her DH!!!

bunny2 · 26/08/2003 12:59

M2T, I was going to ask the meaning of bd today, I thought it was some technical term for it, then I thought maybe it means "bonking dearest". Totally wrong on both accounts.

bunny2 · 26/08/2003 12:58

Jemma, I'm so, so sorry. I really hoped you would have good news today, I've been thinking about you over the w/e and looked forward to hearing we were going to be pg buddies. I really am gutted for you, I've been there and it is a bummer. It's been said many times but when you take the pressure off of yourself, things might happen. I have loads of friends who conceived after they had given up/stopped trying. Good luck. BXX

M2T · 26/08/2003 12:24

Yes I am Jemma7 - Mumsnetters started calling me M2T so when I registered on my home PC I started using that instead.

Jemma7 · 26/08/2003 09:45

M2T

"Baby Dancing"

I always get you confused with Mum2Toby - are u the same person?

OP posts:
M2T · 26/08/2003 09:26

Sorry to butt in....

could someone tell what 'bd' is? I mean I know what you are all referring to, but I can't think what the letters actually stand for??? Am I just too innocent?

Good luck everyone!!

Jemma7 · 26/08/2003 09:23

Ohhhh messages overlapped!
Congrats on first period - this means things are on the move quacks and soon you'll be able to try again!

Hi Campers, I'm here - Tested on Friday and it was -ive.
Surprise Surprise - getting used to this now!
Anyway, Dp & I had big talk over the weekend, spent lots of time together following a huge row on Saturday and have decided to not let it take over our lives and just see how things go.
I was definitely starting to look into things to much and have decided that if it is going to happen it is going to happen whatever we do.

Anyway, looks like it's been a busy weekend here - well done for finding your doll quacks - I wouldn't just leave it on the bedroom door incase u get bd'ing somewhere else - Carry it everywhere!!!!!
