What's up, Terry's? I checked your chart but you've not updated yet. Are you ok, hon?

Fedupttcnosuccess · 10/11/2010 22:03

hi guys! just popping head in the door very quickly. sorry not had time to read back...what's happening Terry's?

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 22:00

doh Confused!!

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 21:58

Hi all. So far no sign of AF (yay!) and period pains wore off quite early in the morning. It has felt really wet down there today [confusing] (sorry TMI!). AF was due today (CD26) if last cycle was anything to go by but only had 2 cycles since DS was born and the other one was 27 days so I'm not getting my hopes up yet. Also from reading other posts on here, random long cycles aren't that uncommon!

I am missing the SWI stage now, its been 10 days since we were in the midst and I wouldn't mind being in it again Wink Enjoy yourselves Iftfirst!! Grin

Spilt Sorry I really can't advise on cycles as I'm so new to this but I hope things become clearer soon.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 10/11/2010 19:45

Evening ladies! :)

Any sign of AF yet Terrys? Keeping everything crossed for you!

CD14 here today, so OV imminent, and have been getting twingy pains this evening which I'm hoping is a good sign (am not using opks this month). Still no obvious EWCM however, eventhough I've been necking the grapefruit juice and water!

We've been SWI every otherday since CD7 as the doctor ordered, with today supposed to be our "day off" - ttthhhppp to that! I've warned DH that he better prepare himself for lots of action over the next couple of days :)

LadyGoneGaga · 10/11/2010 16:27

Confusing Spilt. I think I'd tend to go later though? If you look at my WTF cycle (last month) the temps were all over the place. And I got a really short luteal phase. So chances are you may not conceive anyway even if you did it at the "right" time. Have they started you on Thyroxine yet?

When did you get your first negative pregnancy test by the way? Might give us a clue as to when your hormone chain started to kick bck into action. I ovved on day 30 after my mc by the way as well.

hippychick66 · 10/11/2010 16:24

Try not to panic spilt. Cross that bridge if/when you get to it.

Lovely to hear that you've been shagging for fun - important to keep the closeness with your DH.

Hope the hol is helping a bit. xx

digitalgirl · 10/11/2010 14:58

spilt comparing temps to your last cycle...I'd be inclined to agree with FF about ov-ing on CD30. Do you have a treatment plan in place yet for what happens when you get PG again?

spilttheteaagain · 10/11/2010 14:34

(I now understand why this is a WTF cycle!)

Hello all Smile

Have found some signal so took the opportunity to update FF with my week of temps. Chart here

I am confused and a little nervous about it. Basically I have been half-arsed about charting this month and not paid much attention to CM (which I now regret!). Last week FF said I ov'd on CD22 based on the rise in temps afterwards and one watery CM note a day or two before hand.

Now it thinks CD30 (I deleted the earlier CM because I had CM for about a week and I can't remember when until when so one reading was a bit misleading). The only one I've put in now is the spotting/goo day because I am certain about when that was.

Thing is, thinking CD22 was ov day we got pissed off with condoms and SFF this week... now it looks like it was inadvertently in my fertile bit Blush.

I am now panicking on two counts:

  1. CD22 was right in which case my chart looks possibly triphasic, and I would be 11 DPO today (have 10 day LP) and no period...
  2. CD30 was right in which case we had sex right when it mattered... Confused

I wanted a month off! The MW said it would be sensible too and my thyroid needs sorting out. I feel most irresponsible. Also been on the sauce Blush. Well it is a holiday.

Oh and yes, happy birthday to mini T - hope you have a lovely day!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 10/11/2010 14:29

Thanks for lurking on my chart LadyGGG. Yeah, similar pattern to last cycle with a slow rise. CM and OPKs and just being in touch with my body means I reckon I ov yesterday. Did an OPK today and it was -ve, plus had a small amount of blood on the tissue after i peed - never ever had that before (thought for one moment i'd actually ov CD14 and it was AF!).

I'd just like to go back to previous cycles which had really clear temp shifts. Does anyone know if slow temp rises mean anything, good or bad?

And poor poor DP, He was so tired last night he fell asleep on the sofa at 9pm, then I dragged him upstairs at 10 and demanded a shag! TBH we were really not into it and only going through the motions - it felt really strange Blush.
Definately taking a break now. If it takes us a year or more to conceive, I really have no idea how we'll keep this up!!

LadyGoneGaga · 10/11/2010 12:05

Happy Birthday to mini-T!

I had D&V (food poisoning) when pg with Mini-G at about 10 weeks or so and I felt like absolute shit. Get well soon, hon x

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 11:59

NYD hope you feel better soon. I had flu for the one and only time when I was 8 weeks PG with DS and it was horrid. I also fell down the stairs as the flu made me dizzy Blush. He is 2 today and a little monster!!

newyearsday · 10/11/2010 11:52

Hello all on the shiny, new charting thread [waving].

I have my fingers crossed for those on the 2ww. I also had little pains and twinges from 4wks to about 12wks. Good luck!

I had the norovirus (sickness & diarrhoea bug) on Sunday which has knocked me for six. In between being ill I kept crying thinking the baby would get the infection, but I've been reassured by DH, midwife and GP that it's just me who suffers. I hope so!

You do all deserve a medal xxx

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 10:58

Still no AF despite checking 10 times already! Fingers crossed indeed. I didn't get up at 4am digi but I did move about for 5 minutes before deciding to take it (wasn't sure if I would sleep till usual time in case DS woke up, of course he didn't this time!) In FF I put in an average, wrote that in the notes and then discarded it! Just for tracking purposes! Will see if AF arrives today or what temp does tomorrow if it doesn't. I WANT TO TEST NOWWWWW.

digi I am glad you are feeling better about your decision, I think that means you have made the right one for you - this charting is stressful so maybe you should remove that from your life for now.

digitalgirl · 10/11/2010 10:45

terrys waking up with period pains has always been my biggest symptom for a bfp. Fingers crossed Smile. Did you actually get up at 4 and move about or did you just wake up? If the latter I'd go with the second temp. I found that if my temp was going to drop, it did so even if I hoisted DS into bed with me at 4am and had him draped over my chest for 2 hours before taking temp at 6. But then I know other women's temps are more sensitive to movement in the middle of the night.

Acunpuncturist suggested that I might not see a temp rise this cycle so it may actually be worth giving it a break till I get my period - as the only reason I'd be doing it was so I'd know when to expect it. Might give it a break till I see some ewcm as I'm curious to find out as to whether I'll ovulate this cycle. DH and I are going to use condoms for now Sad, so there shouldn't be any doubt. I am actually feeling better each day about taking a break. Especially reading all your posts worrying about each temp fluctuation...makes me realise how much pressure we're all under throughout the cycle. Waiting to ovulate, making sure we swi enough during fertile phase, then watching each temp rise and fall till the final few days at the end of the luteal phase.

God, it's bloody hard work! We deserve a flippin medal.

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 10:10

LadyG your dip isn't as big as last time, don't give up!

I'm an eternal optimist (but still worrying!). Grin

LadyGoneGaga · 10/11/2010 10:01

Depends if you are an optimist or a pessimist, Terry's!

I'm ok, temp quite low this morning so either a dip or going to have a stupid short LP again. Boobs are really sore but could well be an AF thing. Thought I felt sick yesterday but as am only 6dpo is clearly all in my head and I am a mentalist.

MrsA was expecting a temp spike from you this morning. But looks like you had a slow rise pattern last month so that's maybe just your pattern? Well done on last night! Maybe have a rest day today? And again tomorrow?

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 08:32

Hmmm, I have had cramps this week already but this feels like full on period pains. Nothing red yet - I do keep pulling my trousers down to check though Blush.

IIRC the last 2 AF's I have had (first 2 since DS) I had pains after AF had started, not before. Confused I hope its not RTOD (is that the right other one LadyG Wink) but will keep checking and hold onto slither of hope.

Temps are really messed up again today, woke at 4am and it was 36.30 - lowest one yet so would correlate with AF but then retook at 6.35am (after broken sleep from 4-6.35) and it was 36.74. I have no idea which one to use!

Anyhoo, enough about me! How is everyone else?

LadyGoneGaga · 10/11/2010 08:22

I get crampy in early pg though Terrys, hope is not the witch.

TerrysNo2 · 10/11/2010 07:35

Woke up with period pains Sad

LadyGoneGaga · 09/11/2010 13:50

I reckon your temps will shoot up tomorrow, MrsA. On plus side you've given yourself every possible chancg with all that SWIing. Nice one, MrA. I reckon just one more for luck and then you can have a nice two week rest.

I sympathise as I also ov around 21/22 days. But sometimes day 14 to keep me on my toes.

hippychick66 · 09/11/2010 13:46

The + on an opk usually means you will ov in the next 24/36 hours so I'd say you can stop in a couple of days - but you don't HAVE to do what I say Wink. Your poor old DH - after a wisdom tooth out as well - what a trooper.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 09/11/2010 13:33

Btw, this cycle my temps are definately higher overall than past cycles, even in the very early CDs. Any reason do you think?
