A shiny new thread girls and hopefully we shall all get merrily up-duffed with sticky beans Grin

Despite my temps remaining high, FF still does not confirm ov! here

However, when I change it to the research method, it says I ov on day 22 - which is about what I thought. hey ho, keep on truckin.
This time next week or so I should know as AF will be due.

spilttheteaagain · 13/11/2010 20:03

Interesting article about the timing of sex, chances of pg etc.

A very beautiful chart I must say. Shows promise. Now you just need to step away from the tests for a few days!

It is sickening how being just pregnant and being premenstrual feel exactly the same. I had my worst period pain the month I got my BFP. It does make for a tense and delusional 2ww usually!

Spot on. 9 today. Was very foolish. Chart [[http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2fee7f
here]]. Am sooo crampy though and boobs are so sore. Could be one of two things Grin

Hope AF comes soon for you x

spilttheteaagain · 13/11/2010 14:54

Thanks Lady. Should be AF within about 4 days I think as I have become a raging premenstrual git today. I had forgotten what that feels like, but checking my previous charts it usually meant AF about 4 days later. At least I will know where I am then. It's this uncertain guesswork that I hate.

How many days DPO are you today? Can't be more than about 9 surely?

OP posts:
LadyGoneGaga · 13/11/2010 12:30

Aw Spilt, I think given how far along you were day 22 to ov is very unrealistic anyway so I bet you didn't ov then, hon. Your hcg would prob have taken a while to get back to normal and your hormone chain prob has only just kicked back in. Hopefully you'll get AF within a week or two and be able to get back on with things!

I might have accidentally POAS this morning. BFN obv. Idiot. I didn't get a pos til 14dpo last time when I was pg!

spilttheteaagain · 13/11/2010 10:18

I have cracked and POAS. BFN.

I was really nervous putting the stick in the wee pot in case it was positive. Now it's negative I am sad and disappointed. Hmm

POAS does something weird to me, I always seem to want a positive even when I don't really.

Roll on next month, I want to make this happen now!

Sodding thing has changed it's mind again

here

I decided to just mark in the approximate week in which I was gooey (as best as I can remember). I should probably stop playing!

Gah!

Terrys so sorry you had a cycle like mine. chin up and down the hatch with the wine!

Digi Sad Take care and keep on hugging.

sufferingbabyfever · 12/11/2010 23:20

Hey all,

Wee update. Didn't bother testing today. Temp dropped slightly below coverline this morning. Still no AF. But most likely counts me out! Boo!

spilttheteaagain · 12/11/2010 21:53

Oh digi I'm sorry you're having a tough time of it right now. Life can be such a bag of crap and so unfair. I have a friend due a baby in a couple of weeks and am not looking forward to the first encounter whenever that maybe. However the worst by far are the friends whose baby is due 4 weeks after ours was. I go intensely rageful and jealous at the thought of it. DH wants to invite them over because we haven't seen them for a while, but I just cannot cope with the bump just now (she's 21 weeks now, and I gave birth at 20+1 so it's all a bit close for comfort). I would rather not destroy a potential good friendship by being an unreasonable/jealous/insane/tearful hostess...

I wish I could say something that would help you but there just isn't anything. Keep hugging your DH and keep talking/venting/crying with us. Did you get any further with your thoughts about getting counselling?

OP posts:
LadyGoneGaga · 12/11/2010 21:37

[Hugs] Digi. I know it's soo hard for you. I hope you get your wish soon and you get a sticky one.

digitalgirl · 12/11/2010 21:28

Nice to see you back spilt

Sorry af got you terrys, but you sound like you're already geared up for this next cycle.

Having a bad couple of days. Two pregnancy announcements in two days from my Nct group - am expecting another two any day now. Just brings all the pain back. I spent most of last night crying in dh's arms. And most of today fighting back the tears whole visiting friends with newborns and bumps. Dh told me not to go, but I thought it would do ds some good to play with other children today so I went for his sake.

Feeling v frustrated today and wishing I was wealthy so I could pay for private tests. But I suppose if I'm going to wish for anything it would be to be pg again properly.

spilttheteaagain · 12/11/2010 21:17

The holiday was very nice - rather mellow but we did some swimming and walking... until I buggered my leg by turning around in the kitchen Hmm and I have been limping ever since. I am now known affectionately by DH as "his little cripple". Stupid leg. We went to the marine aquarium in Plymouth too and I saw my beloved rays, gorgeous fish. Also a rather less gorgeous moment where the octopus ate a live crab Shock

Not sure on LP length, Spilt. I would have said pretty normal in past as have tended to a long cycle. But first proper month charting I fell pregnant so obv no LP data. Then second cycle was the WTF where I had a 7 day LP. Then this is the third cycle! But body could well be readjusting to mc still as many people say can take a few cycles. Hope not!

How was your holiday?

Hope Terrys is enjoying her wine!

I feel like I have a sore throat coming on which is irritating as if temp is up tomorrow I won't know why Confused. DS has a few spots too, please let it not be chickenpox!!!

TerrysNo2 · 12/11/2010 21:01

Sorry spilt I just showed DH your post to show off to him that I show off how fab he is and he said quote "I didn't say every day this month, I said every day when it was game time" (game time - really!) Thought I should clarify!! Grin

spilttheteaagain · 12/11/2010 20:48

Bless your DH Terrys! I'll be impressed if he lives up to it Grin

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 12/11/2010 20:38

Hey Ladies - don't worry I didn't wait for you, onto the red wine already Grin!

I am quite a positive person but I get very upset when things don't go my way although I bounce back very quickly so just needed some time to have a cry, stomp feet and ask, why me. But now I am done with that self indulgent nonsense!

DH said to me (whilst in tears at AF's arrival) - we'll do it every day this month. Grin Bless him! Now we just have to figure out how to do it quietly while my dad is staying with us during the vital week. Hmm

spilt just wanted to say hello but sorry I have no clue about your chart, its still all fairly new to me! Good luck on the 25th, I hope you get the answers you are looking for.

spilttheteaagain · 12/11/2010 20:26

Apologies for the ghastly apostrophe misuse above, it's making my teeth itch to look at!

OP posts:
spilttheteaagain · 12/11/2010 20:25

Oh terrys Sad, have a ((hug)), it's so disappointing. I second Lady's advice to have a decent pig out on some pregnancy contraband for a couple of days.

suffering hello and welcome! I think you've just arrived whilst I was on holiday. Let us know how the cycle is panning out, fingers crossed for you.

Lady your's is looking very nice and textbooky so far. How long is your LP normally?

digi & mouse how are you my dears?

(and thanks hippy, tis nice to SFF again Smile)

spilttheteaagain · 12/11/2010 20:20

Hi girls, thanks for your thoughts the other day. I'm inclined to agree about CD30, still no period so that would make sense.

Lady I was never asked to take a test after the loss so I didn't (didn't occur to me either) so no helpful info from there.

I am having my blood test on Monday to check for antibodies I think (the GP said it was to see whether my body was attacking the thyroid, so that sounds like antibodies to me?) Once the results are back then we'll talk about thyroxine.

We're then seeing a consultant at the hospital on the 25th to go over all the results from my blood tests, placenta investigations and Bobbie's skin swab, partly to see if there's a reason for the loss and partly to plan treatment/care in the next pregnancy. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Oh hon. Better luck next time. Get on the vino tonight x

TerrysNo2 · 12/11/2010 18:13

AF is here. Off to wallow in self pity Sad....

TerrysNo2 · 12/11/2010 15:10

DH told me to get the clearblue digital as that was the one we used last time (when we weren't even trying and I was 5 weeks gone anyway!!)

Oh well, we'll see. Patience was never my strong point!!

If its not PG where the bloody hell are you, AF?!!?

Let us know how the acupuncture goes MrsA - sounds scary and exciting!

LadyGoneGaga · 12/11/2010 13:44

MrsA. I've had two sessions now. Think it varies but I certainly didn't have to get naked. I would either wear a skirt or loose trousers so they can get to your legs and I had to pull my waistband down a bit so she could get to my abdomen. She talked to me for about an hour about all my health concerns, she advised me on diet etc and then did the needles. I had to lie down on a treatment couch and she literally did about 6 needles. they are very fine, some you don't feel at all, some give like a tingle or a bit of a shock. Nothing horrid though. She doesn't leave heres in, but I think some do.

Hope it goes well!

Terrys maybe a First Response? Or I hear Superdrug own ones are very good and sensitive.
