Well had better sleep this last week but not more consistent, taken about 30 mins either side of normal time. But last night I had a couple of drinks so I expected it to be higher?? Confused

spilttheteaagain · 17/11/2010 10:02

Beautifully consistent temps Terrys, have you been more regular about your temp taking time or something?

spilttheteaagain · 17/11/2010 10:01

Wish me luck girls, I'm off shortly to talk to the GP about returning to work (hopefully phased return). Crapping myself (scared of doctors) and feel very sicky. At least once I've been I can come home and eat some breakfast!

Oh, and my coverline last month was 36.04 so I am still quite above that - is that common/normal?!?!

TerrysNo2 · 17/11/2010 09:59

Morning all

digi good news on tests, gives you time to relax a bit and enjoy christmas but then get back on it next year!

battery I am a chart novice but I can see why it thinks CD24 rather than 22. Hindsight is a bloomin frustrating thing!

MrsA looking good!! And with that much BD-ing how can they have missed?!? Grin

I am Confused - my temps are so stable it seems wrong. What do you think??

chart here

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 17/11/2010 09:13

battery I think due to CM and your coverline, I'd be inclined to agree to CD24. but I'm a charting novice really, so perhaps someone else can help.

Temps still going up - 36.5 today, I've never recorded so high before. but I have to remember that my coverline this cycle is higher than usual, so it probably means very little!
And I'm not sure spotting yesterday was CM. I am very dry - more than usual in LP and my bits are a little sore when i wipe - probably irritated by the loo paper - so I think perhaps it was from that. I got very pale pink spots but a tiny bit of bright red - maybe the bright red was from the irritated area and the pale pink was CM? Oh I don't now - am just clutching at straws.
I hate getting my hopes up and having them dashed. I did this when TTC DD and it did my head in.

DG great news - and I 2nd the comment about xmas. You can try and relax over xmas, drink and eat what you like knowing that you are taking action in the new year. Hope you're feeling more on the up. :)

batteryhen · 17/11/2010 06:55

digi - that is really good news:) -you can eat and drink what you like at xmas, then 'get back to it' Grin after xxx I am very jealous of you bing able to check your cervix - I don't think I can even find mine Blush

Can I have some advice from the experts please? FF have changed my ov date to cd24 from 22. I am inclined to agree as I did have lots EWCM on the sunday, and also I did an opk on the friday which was negative and usully I always get a positive on my day of ovulation.

The reason I am asking is becasue I have to try and get my ov right to book flights etc, not that 2 makes much difference. I did have a thermal shift on cd 22 (fri) but then shot up on sun (cd24) which is more like my pattern.

Can anyone cast their eyes over my chart and have a look please?

Am kicking myself that I didn't doan opk on sunday - I thought I had already ovulated :(

Sorry not to name check - am off to work xx

mrsa spotting at 8dpo eh? Hmmmm. Acupuncture works for me too, in terms of balancing hormones. Was shaving a day off my cycle lengths each cycle I had it, which for me was a good thing.

Did I share my good news on this thread about only having to wait two weeks for clotting test results? Which potentially means starting to ttc in Feb (rather than April/May). Am v excited as it means I only skip two eggs. Still waiting for this WTF one to turn up. But am only 2-3 weeks post-mc so could be another couple of weeks. Cervix and cm is definitely infertile right now.

LadyGoneGaga · 16/11/2010 19:36

It's good, MrsA. And not scary/hurty. You'll love it. I've booked another appt for next week as want her to help try and support the pregnancy. And the cm sounds promising.

I feel your pain MrsA and Ifat, the TWW just goes soooo slowly while waiting.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 16/11/2010 19:31

oooh MrsA that sounds promising. I'm only on 6DPO and I'm desperatly trying to see if I can see pink CM Blush

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 16/11/2010 19:05

Evening ladies. I am 8 DPO and temps going up but nothing unusual there. I did have some spotting this morning - very pale pink and watery. Nothing more but is there anyway AF might arrive without a temp drop? Perhaps i've nicked myself with my nail Blush
Have felt quite crampy all day too.
Chart here

DD is full of a terrible cold so full nights sleeps are just a memory - poor love, she can't breathe through her nose.

Hi Vics79. I agree that if AF arrives just 2 hours before the end of the day, you can probably include that day in the LP.

My LP is 10-12 days, so I understand your worry but I think most implantation takes place between days 7 and 9 (I could be wrong). I take Pre natal vitamins (Sanatogen mother to be) and it includes a high dose of Vit B6.

I'm also about to embark on acupuncture, which is supposed to help balance out hormones. My 1st appt is on Thurs [nervous emoticon]

TerrysNo2 · 16/11/2010 18:48

Mine has stayed virtually the same for 5 days Ifatfirst!! www.fertilityfriend.com/home/terrysno2Here

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 16/11/2010 17:23

Temp has remained exactley the same over three conecutive days ??????www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2de1f3 Hmm - I hope my BBT isn't kapput!!

LadyGoneGaga · 16/11/2010 15:49

I know you can take a Vit B complex that is meant to help with a short luteal phase.

Vics79 · 16/11/2010 15:41

Is there anything you are doing to try to lengthen it? I saw a doctor yesterday at a private clinic and he said my 9/10 days really wasn't usual...it was as if he had never heard of a short LP before. grrr - some Drs aren't very reassuring but i go back in a few weeks to disucss.

spilttheteaagain · 16/11/2010 14:15

an extra day I meant

OP posts:
spilttheteaagain · 16/11/2010 14:13

I know, I would love an 11 day LP! Mine's only 9-10 so I know how much an extra means to you Smile

OP posts:
Vics79 · 16/11/2010 14:00

Hi spiltea, thank you, I do like your thinking - 11 days sounds so much better than 10 for some reason..!

spilttheteaagain · 16/11/2010 12:58

Hi vics

If my period started at 10pm then I would usually be asleep and not realise until the morning, so would record it as having started in the morning. It may be cheating slightly, but if the last day of your LP lasts for 22 hours rather than 24 it's still practically a day isn't it?

OP posts:
Vics79 · 16/11/2010 11:50

Hi girls, sorry to invade your discussions, I hope you don't mind, but I wanted your opinion. I have been charting for 4mths since my m/c. My period is coming 2 days earlier than it use too but my question is, if my temp clearly rises on day 16 but then drops on day 26 but I don't get my period until 10pm that night...can I count that day as part of luteal phase? Or is it wishful thinking to think that's an 11 day luteal phase?!!!

TerrysNo2 · 16/11/2010 09:31

I am at a loss, too early to SWI, too early to symptom spot. What shall I do with my life now?!!? Grin

Oh, but my chart is looking very neat - look!!

mousebacon · 15/11/2010 19:56

Yaaaay!!!!! Congrats lady I'm thrilled for you! And a little bit Envy but hope this is the start of our positive results!

Wishing you a happy and healthy 8 months ahead xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 15/11/2010 19:50

Congrats Lady, am really pleased for you Grin

I'm also 5DPO, and so far am very relaxed about it all - give it time..... Grin

Truffkin · 15/11/2010 19:34

Just popping on to congratulate LadyGaGa on todays' result! Am hoping I can join the August ante natal group in a few weeks time so maybe you are holding out for me Grin Wink Really hoping for a nice sticky bean plus 8 uneventful months to come.

Nice work on the ovulation Battery a definite thermal shift there. Hopefully you can plan well next month and fingers crossed for good house move news.

Fingers crossed for you too Terrys this might be a good month for the charters Grin

Only 5DPO for me so will be a while before I test. Ideally I'd like to wait until CD 32 as I have longer than average cycles and would rather know from AF than a BFN but as we're away for a long weekend from CD 32, I'm kind of hoping I can wait (if no AF) until after that weekend so I don't have to either put on a brave face or keep the excitement from showing - we shall see!

linky linky

TerrysNo2 · 15/11/2010 19:14

battery you can make it so your public chart doesn't show SWI-ing. I am quite a private person so not used to talking about SFF let alone SWI so I don't show it!

I'm pleased your cycles are sorting themselves out quicker.
