if I have been lurking and just had a look at that site you linked to.

I have to say that as far as the emotions go I can feel all those in 1 day Grin - apart from the increased sex drive - haha.

Love to all.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 23/11/2010 20:18

oh that's pants MrsA - make sure you enjoy that wine!!!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 23/11/2010 20:05

AF arrived today. Bugger fuck. Off to open bottle of vino.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 23/11/2010 20:01

My LP varies Hmm but is normally 14/15 days. So if no AF by Thursday night/Friday Morn - I'll test!

My god - I've just googled a sore throat as an early symptom and came across this site that lists loads. I'm sure I can check off most of them on a normal day!!!

nickstermum · 23/11/2010 19:37

Positive sounding symptoms IF Grin

Is sore throat a symptom? Hope so me too! (10dpo) Grin

GetDownYouWillFall · 23/11/2010 18:48

Hi there ifatfirst - dodgy temp as in low? I hope you are not actually dead! Maybe the battery is going?

How long is your LP normally? I.e. are you "late" yet, or not yet?

I've come down with a sore throat today too Sad

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 23/11/2010 18:10

Well, 13DPO and no sign of AF, however my BBT gave me a dodgy temp this morning - basically, if I believed it I think I would actually be dead! Confused. Anyhoo, I only noticed it after I had been up & about for a bit and had had a shower, so I've had to discard this morning's temp. Therefore, I have no idea if AF is around the corner or if I can still cling on to a bit of hope!

Have still been getting cramps & watery CM which could be AF, boobs still feel like rocks. Also felt a bit bleugh today, but I've also got a bit of a sore throat, so think I may be coming down with something (oh joy).

TerrysNo2 · 23/11/2010 13:50

Just got the faintest line on an OPK, I am hoping this means that it is gearing up for O-Day!!

Hello all! Smile

GetDownYouWillFall · 23/11/2010 13:01

Hi ladies!

Sorry to see your temps have taken another dip today MrsA... Sad Do you feel that AF is on the way?

Mine have taken a hike today GetDown's Chart but probably only because I had a terrible night, with hardly any sleep Angry

Anyone else suffer with insomnia?? It is such a pain when it comes to charting!

Iwish · 23/11/2010 08:39

Wow you guys have been busy in here!
split I hope today is a better day for you. And thank you for the advice re my thyroid, you would think that the doc would give us some kind of info!!
Morning all, hope you all are well. There are so many on this thread now I'm not sure where to start, not that I have much to say being a newbie to this site. Think I may be out again for this month as the cramps have worked their way in so I think I will try temping this time but may come to you all for you expert advice :) hope that's ok.

spilttheteaagain · 23/11/2010 07:40

morning all x

Oh LadyG I didn't realise you had an early scan last time. I had also heard that once you heard HB the risk was very low. I am very Sad for your loss (not sure if I have said that before.) I think that the scan is nice to see and be reassured that it exists and it can bridge the long gap between BFP and 12 week scan but I don't think it will remove your fears. So all in all, I have no idea what to suggest!

This whole TTC-ing, being PG and being a parent just throws us into a non-stop world of worrying, why do we do it to ourselves!?!?

LadyGoneGaga · 22/11/2010 22:12

That's fine! I'm always discarding wonky temps. Naughty girl.

We could afford a private scan but TBH not sure how much it would reassure me. I always heard if you saw a HB then you only had a 3% chance of miscarrying. Sounds reassuring, right? Well I was that 3%. So not sure. But it's all sooo looong away. Not even 5 weeks til Thursday Shock

GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 21:48

Only because I discarded the wonky temp though Grin

spilttheteaagain · 22/11/2010 21:45

nickster I don't think you're a stalker! I prefer to think of you as a fan Wink

Ooh GetDown your chart has decided you ov'd on CD23 which is what I thought. I feel like I have just got an exam question right Grin

sorry about the crappy day split and the unhelpful woman. I think some people just have very low emotional intelligence.

I don't really know about your spotting I'm afraid, definitely worth asking at your next appointment. I'm sure it's just the hormones settling down though.

I've got over my moment of madness earlier re, the progesterone cream. Twas a stupid idea. Ah well.

Hope your temps do a big leap tomorrow MrsA.

Here's my chart GetDown's chart I've been a bit naughty and "discarded" my strange reading yesterday. We'll see what tomorrow brings!

nickstermum · 22/11/2010 20:57

Ah, sorry spilt please don't think I am a cyber stalker! I had read some of that thread before, just put two and two together is all :) could it just be that hormones are a bit squew whiff still hence the strange bleed? My first period post mc was far from normal!

I hope you have to deal with less insensitive folks tomorrow x

spilttheteaagain · 22/11/2010 20:35

nickster thank you and bless you for doing your homework and reading my looooong other thread Grin

Bleeding wise, I bled for about 2 weeks after the birth, then nothing for 4 ish weeks then this AF/spotting puzzle.

It just would seem so bizarre if it was MC stuff still. I mean - the placenta and baby both came out intact, and looooads of blood and fluid etc just before delivery, so I don't know what else would be there to come, or why it would stop for so long. Ho hum. Hopefully it will go away. I just hope I can actually have a normal enough cycle to make it worth even bothering to SWI!

Filling pants sounds scary though, poor you that must have been really upsetting.

Follow up care at this stage I think was just GP. I am seeing the nurse practioner on Fri anyway so I will monitor things and talk to her then. I might also pick the consultant's brains on Thurs (it is a gynae consultant).

Lady I remember it feeling like an age waiting for the 12 week scan and I was crapping myself about the possibility of a mmc being detected then (ooh the irony) but it was amazing to have that first sight of Bobbie as such a developed baby bobbing around and wriggling away. We were awestruck and hadn't realised how formed they are so soon. DH hadn't realised they could even move then! (and Bobbie was never still Smile). This is very waffly and I'm not quite sure what point I am trying to make, esp since you've done the baby/scan thing already and know what you should see... but the 12 weeker will be brilliant, worth the wait.

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 22/11/2010 20:26

LadyG could you afford a private scan? We had one with DS at 8 weeks (because I couldn't believe I was PG!) and it was about £90. I would def pay for one again if we get that far!

spilt I hope Thursday gives you some answers and some comfort!

Ifatfirst I am excited for you! I really hope you and MrsA conceive this month as you two have certainly SWI-ed enough!! I am hoping that is the key for us this month!!

nickstermum · 22/11/2010 20:20

spilt i hope you dont mind me replying. Im sorry to hear you are having to deal with that at work :( you are strong for being back already with what you have gone through. (i caught up on the late MC thread started by iloveblue so now i know your background)

Re the bleeding.... are you still in the WTF cycle post MC or have you had 1 period already? Or was that it? my MC bleed lasted for 3 weeks, i then didnt AF for another 4 weeks but i had sporadic bleeding in between where it quite literally (TMI Blush filled pants Hmm and it was red/clotty. From what i have read, heard on here the body takes time to recover, and can play all sorts of mind games on you post MC...sadly. It can also take a bit of time for 'everything' to clear the womb.

You are doing really well, xx

Back for more charting advice in a couple of days x

LadyGoneGaga · 22/11/2010 20:17

Fingers crossed, Ifat!

LadyGoneGaga · 22/11/2010 20:16

Hi Spilt not sure on the bleeding. Could it be the end of AF? Or, the othe thought I had is that you may have a bit of cervical erosion after the pregnancy and birth and having sex just irritated it and caused the bleeidng? If you're concerned maybe call the Doctor. Did they give you a number for follow up care at all?

And sorry that woman was such a bitch. Some people have no idea Angry

I have no early scan offered/planned in. My booking appt is at 8 weeks so will mention it then if get that far. I bled early on with with DS and with the one I lost so would seem odd to wait til 12 weeks for a scan. Although I REALLY don't want to see any blood.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 22/11/2010 20:15

UCL is 28/29 days, so FF has given me a test day of Friday!

Spilt - so sorry to hear about the insensitive comments that you've had to deal with "ah well these things happen" So Angry for you!

spilttheteaagain · 22/11/2010 20:03

Terrys good work today. We hopefully will find out gender at the consultant appointment on Thursday. It's dependent on the skin sample having grown properly in a culture. If it's grown they can check lots of genetic things which will also give the gender. If it hasn't we will never know. Either way I'm sure it will hit me like a truck. I would love to be able to say "he" or "she" though. I spend ages reconstructing sentences to avoid saying "it".

The stupid woman has grown up kids so God knows what she was thinking. Some people have the sensitivity gene removed at birth Sad
