ah thanks guys, what concerned me this morning (TMI alert Xmas Blush) was it felt like something popped out, and it was a lot of CM at once, so of course, i am thinking has the plug that had built up just gone.. and is that the start of another MC. Just feels diff also. I hope so much its burrowing and that it was just lots of CM, only time will tell i suppose. Seeing GP anyway tomorrow so if i still feel the same will prob burst into tears and demand a HCG test! The alternative is i get a CB digi which checks the hcg levels/wks etc... and resume temping in the morning!

5+1 ladyG

Oh i hope so xx

spilttheteaagain · 08/12/2010 16:10

Nix poor you, pregnancy is so worrying. I will add my experience to the mix. When I got my BFP I had about a week of bad period pain/cramping and felt very pre menstrual (lots of CM). That took me to 5 weeks and everything was fine at that stage. Just the bean bedding in. Hope yours is fine.

And "trauma" seems a perfectly appropriate choice of word!

TerrysNo2 · 08/12/2010 16:02

Nix I think its normal to have up days and down days - those damn hormones are to blame. Try not to worry! I hope the gyno helps allay your fears. Smile

I am not getting excited LadyG and I am a terrible liar!!

LadyGoneGaga · 08/12/2010 15:59

Sorry you're having a wobble, Nix. It is agonising, isn't it? If you do have spotting is likely to be implantation at this point especially if brown and light, similarly with cramping. I was really crampy for ages - just the bean burrowing in. How many weeks/days are you? Wonder if would be worth EPU if worried - they normally scan at 6 weeks don't they?

I spotted with DS and was fine - isn't always bad. (Hugs)

LadyGoneGaga · 08/12/2010 15:56

Don't panic, Spilt - you would prob find that your body has probably built up sufficient anti-bodies to the Toxo by now to not effect the baby.

Anyway, as others have said, see what happens tomorrow and don't dwell on the What ifs. A baby now could be meant to be, hon.

Getting excited for Terrys Xmas Grin

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 15:54

not stupid spilt. totally natural given what you have gone through. Your body is supposedly quite fertile after a uterus 'trauma' if thats what it can be called! (without trying to be-little anything iyswim)

I am having a wobbly day :( thought i had discoloured CM earlier and cramping, feel like am coming on... boobs are huge but nothing else. I think i am just paranoid given last pg. DH says its still very early which it is, but it doesnt stop those terrifying thoughts. Have dug out a gyno locally who does early testing plus also miscarriage testing (so whichever applicable!! ie hopefully scan!)

Sorry for the me me me post Xmas Smile

spilttheteaagain · 08/12/2010 15:44

First things first. I will see what my temp is doing tomorrow. I'm sure it will drop and AF will arrive.

Hope you get your second line terrys

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 08/12/2010 15:42

Not stupid at all! But try not to stress about either scenario, take one day at a time. I will keep my fingers crossed that in either scenario you will have a happy healthy baby in the not too distant future!

spilttheteaagain · 08/12/2010 15:37

erm, I would panic.

We would be making an appointment to see the consultant again and find out what the risks are. I guess it would be more blood tests to see what the state of play is with infection/antibodies. Maybe antibiotics, but equally he did say last time that the drugs they would have to give are not great for little babies either. Hmmm.

I would disinfect the cats and try to stop my trembling hands pouring a(nother) bottle of wine down my gullet.

I'm hoping I haven't conceived, but there's a little part of me that still wants it to have happened. That is very stupid isn't it?

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 08/12/2010 15:16

What would happen if you are spilt?!!?

spilttheteaagain · 08/12/2010 15:11

Afternoon all Smile Well it's been getting a bit exciting here! terrys I take it you are re-peeing in the morning? Check the instructions first so you know the time window Wink ... and have today's test to hand for comparative squinting Grin

God I'm tempted to POAS tomorrow too but I am sure it would be pointless (too early probably) and this is the way madness lies...

Have made my shagging data visible. Yes it's possible - we SWI 4 and 5 days before ovulation. Then the consultant appointment was 3 days before and we were told to put a stop to it Blush. But it's definitely feasible.
terrys I agree, I need a little window in to see what's going on!

Nix I did briefly experiment with B vits in May (was taking a vit B complex as it was the only way I could get B6 from Tescos). I don't think the dose was really high enough to make a difference, and that was the cycle I conceived so I'll never know what that LP was. I haven't taken them again yet, I wanted to give the system a chance to regulate itself first.

Hello everyone else Smile

I also tried to convince myself that it was possible last month kayjayel when AF was here - its not our fault remember. Its the hormones!! Smile

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 14:36

Just to be sure!! Xmas Grin

kayjayel · 08/12/2010 14:11

Thanks! Smile.

GetDownYouWillFall · 08/12/2010 14:09

no problem Kayjayel we all need a bit of bubble bursting sense from time to time (me included). You would not be the only one who has thought they could still be preg even AFTER period has arrived!

I know of certain people (naming no names) who have done a test even once period has arrived!

Maybe next time will be your month Smile

kayjayel · 08/12/2010 13:57

Hi GetDown, thanks for replying. I need to hear the sense. So far my brain is doing this:
Not pregnant: PERIOD IS HERE! temps down
Pregnant: why do I have waves of nausea which are accompanied by sore boobs? Gone off coffee.

My luteal phase is quite short - usually 10-11 days (I've conceived twice with that length LP), though a few months ago it was only 8 days (wasn't TTC that month). So it looks like I need a burst bubble emoticon. Or some kind of body scanner that can tell me exactly what's happening! Or some patience. I'm trying not to obsess too much in real life, but its driving me mad that no-one knows, so it really helps to post here, thanks again for replying.

GetDownYouWillFall · 08/12/2010 13:38

Hi there kayjayel it's awful isn't it, the not knowing? I find I torture myself over slight feelings of nausea, sore boobs etc.

Unfortunately the only conclusive evidence is a positive pregnancy test. You can have all other symptoms (inc high temps) and still not be pregnant.

I'm sorry to say this, (and please don't think I'm trying to burst your bubble here) but it's not looking hopeful that you are pregnant.

Your temps have gone low again (to pre. ov levels), and you've got your period. The only slight question in my mind is that it's lighter than normal, and at 11DPO that's quite early to be having your period. Do you know what your luteal phase is normally? If it's normally more like 14days then there is a chance, but it should be more like spotting really, not "heavy" as you describe.

Sorry kay don't think this is your month. I could be wrong though.

kayjayel · 08/12/2010 12:47

Hi,

Please could I crash and ask your expert temp advice?

I 98% know I'm not pregnant - I've had 2 low temps, got my period very definitely.

But the 2% driving me mad is that my period, although heavy, was significantly lighter than normal, and I've had all the pg signs (breast pains, awful moodiness, nausea).

I was avoiding temping becuase it makes me obsessed, but I did it because I wanted to have more evidence to get rid of the 2% doubt, so can anyone help? So i've not temped since I confirmed ovulation (about 5 dpo, until the second day of my period (about 11 dpo).

Please can anyone tell me whether 2 low temps (at my usual pre-ov level) would mean its pretty much impossible to be pregnant? My understanding was that 1 might be a blip, but two would be clearcut.

They were the first temps I've taken sleeping in a new room (much colder than usual), would that make a difference?

Thanks in advance if you could help me with the madness!

LadyGoneGaga · 08/12/2010 12:29

Suspenders, Terrys.

Chepo internet tests rubbish - never give you a line at 11 dpo. I'd get a First response sharpish. Pee on it tomorrow morning Grin

TerrysNo2 · 08/12/2010 12:25

LadyG do you honestly think I will be able to wait a couple of days?!?! Do you not know me by now?!!? Grin

I am trying not to get my hopes up but keeping my fingers and toes crossed - I took the test as I have felt rubbish for the past couple of days and thats not very like me - had horrid headaches and been tired, but had awful insomnia all night the last 2 nights. I was hoping that there was a good reason for it all! Well at least all this umming and ahhing is taking my mind off how tired I am!!

Nix - whats suzzies?!!?

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 12:14

they do say a line is a line,

OOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh have got said twinkly tinsel suspenders on for you terrys..........so exciting!

Sorry for peeing on your fire, not too much mess i hope x

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 08/12/2010 12:12

If it was a first response then my lines were very thin and very PINK.....oooooooh could we get suzzies on d'ya think?

TerrysNo2 · 08/12/2010 11:51

I used this one

I do have a clearblue digital at home too but as its so expensive I was saving it.

The line is definitely pink. I put it in the bin after 10 mins and fished it out after about 30 mins in total so no idea when it appeared. Confused

LadyGoneGaga · 08/12/2010 11:46

What brand of test did you use, Terrys?

Sounds quite hopeful to me. But I might wait a couple more days to let the HCG build up a bit more.
