moon I am so pleased, I guess it takes everything to build up in order to be able to sort it out. On the good side of things from the drs side there is no question that you havn't tried and tried and tried so they can't send you away to try somemore. You will get a moonplan So thinking about you both cos I can only begin to imagine how hard it was for you to get to this point. Thinking about you and dfGrin lots and lots.

barbie you made me laugh doing the stair gate olympicsSmile melt at baby converse and loving the t shirt idea.

lbm you popped out of my head the other day in my mamoth postBlush hopr dh is feeling better and you have a nice cosy weekend. Your holiday sounds utterly fantastic i want to go.
right pancakesSmile hope everyone has a good weekend

barbie1 · 29/01/2011 03:35

blue i had goosebumps reading your post....i truly think that you will conceive and going to the doctors is the way forwards. Please let us know when you book so we can all be there for you...it's going to be fine, the first step is the hardest Smile

Oh and im sorry about work Sad, hope you have a better week this week.

lbm love the pj's. Dolly is still wearing 6-9 months clothes and in fact yesterday wore her white cardi that we bought to bring her home in Blush she still fits in 3-6 months old clothes but most look a little too babyish on her so she wears 6-9 even if there are a tad too big. She is still only 16lb...will have a look at jl web site, they look like they have nice stuff...my mum is coming out for the party so i can order and get her to bring stuff out Smile

We bought her a pair of converse all stars high tops, they look cool with her leggings Grin

I also thought i might get her a t shirt printed that says 'it's my party, i'll cry if i want too' for a back up when she gets totally filthy in the garden....

Breakfast time, gotta go...

BlueMoon1981 · 28/01/2011 21:50

evening girls :)

just wanted to pop in to say hello and say sorry for being really useless at posting. i have been struggling for some time now and havent felt able to post even when i wanted to. have had a horrendous week at work - another lady announced her pregnancy, fell out with a colleague, my assistant wants to get a new job and thats not to mention how busy it is. this culminated in me getting home late from wotk tonight and sobbing my heart out to df and we had a big chat about everything which was long overdue, we have both been in denial about us not being able to conceive again, and anyway to cut a long story short, he has agreed he will come to the doctors with me next week to see if there is anything they can do to help us. we even touched on the subject adopting if things dont work out for us. i cant believe i ever doubted him, he is so lovely and i love him to bits. i know this is a big ramble and very me orientated but i wanted to say thank you for your continued support and give you the good news that you have all encouraged me for ages to bite the bullet and do. you are all wonderful ladies xxxxxx

littlebellsmum · 28/01/2011 20:05

second link isn't working - they are vintage print ones

littlebellsmum · 28/01/2011 20:04

'lo, barbie thanks for offering to help my friend, I'll let you know.
Like the birthday present but bet she still prefers Freds bowl and Fred might like her sandpit!
Tutu and fairy wings sounds great. I've had some lovely PJ's from John Lewis . these are lovely but oos in 12 month size - really like the matching shoes. BabyBelle has these but they don't come in Dollys size

And you have now got me shopping again as there are some lovely bottoms, in the sale, in the next size.....

barbie1 · 28/01/2011 11:42

hello, hello, hello (echo's) tis very quiet again....

louey glad baby is kicking away, i know i used to panic every hour day due to having quiet periods, i think i drank gallons of cold pepsi to try to kick start the little one into moving Smile

lbm i forgot to say, feel free to pass on my contact details to your friend who are moving here, i would be more than happy to help if they need it. Tis very daunting landing in the sand pit and not knowing anyone...bet you are very excited for your hols...hope dh is feeling better now.

questionsagain ttc sucks (excuse the pun Wink)
We are here to moan to if needed, i know i felt like i was going out of my mind and defiantly the 'joy' of 'practicing' soon wore off...hope the ew stays away for both you and moon

blue feel free to suggest a few outfits for the lo on her birthday...i was thinking of a tutu and fairy wings for her party Grin
We want birthday girl pj's too if you stumble upon any...Its warm here about 25 but chilly later on and in the wind, so we need something that would still look cute with a cardi on if needed....so much choice!

Ive just ordered some cath kidston stylee bunting and table cloth, thinking shabby chic...competitive parenting is taking over i feel, i can see myself hiring a candyfloss machine and an ice cream van Grin

We have bought her this as she loves splashing in freddies bowl water and playing with sand.

As for her sleeping, i dont feed her until 5am now, she can settle for her wakings now Smile granted some still take a while and its hard but we are getting there....now if i could just get her to nap in her cot in the day.....Hmm

She is still being a little devil, some of you might of seen the fb video of her and her bff....so funny! She has now taken to giving Fred all of her food and climbing into bed with him...the trouble never ends!

4ever i find it so hard to work the stair gate Blush..the first few days i had to climb over as i couldnt get it open!

Eeek i have to go, back soon x

It's quiet here today! Great news on your kicking bean louey. BabyBelle didn't do much moving, was sent to test my patience I think.

All littlebells are better but daddybells isn't- and he had all three this evening as I had to work late. Looks like I'm on washing up duty this evening...

loueytb3 · 27/01/2011 10:25

4ever ooh - you're in gate heaven Grin. We still have them everywhere - mainly because otherwise Isaac would cause even more chaos than he does already. Do you think she will be walking soon?

cupcake You're going to have a cruising Jude very soon Smile - its not long after they pull up that they get on the move....

That's a lovely story about your friend. I've had a friend who needed IVF to get her twin boys and then had an "surprise" pg 18 months later. I think sometimes going through pg can get things going again. I wish that sort of thing would happen to my sis. However, she has very very few eggs left and doesn't appear to ovulate normally at all. IVF after all the drugs only resulted in 3 eggs which is very low so I think the chances of her getting pg on her own are slim to nil. We're not going to find out the sex although I'm sure I will waver before the scan. When I was pg with the DTs, our hospital would not tell you the sex. I assumed that we would find out because we had soooo many scans. At one scan, I thought I could see that one of them was a girl. So I thought I was having at least one girl and DH was convinced we were having 2 girls. You can imagine our surprise when we had 2 boys. DH was absolutely beside himself (he secretly really wanted a boy). Anyway, it was so much fun finding out when they were born that this time I don't want to know. Besides which I like to have 2 sets of names to argue over come up with. I am really in 2 minds what I would like. A boy would be good as we have all the stuff and I know what I'm doing. Plus it would make activities etc simpler when they are older. A girl would be nice so that I could go and buy some non-pink more clothes and have a shopping companion later on. Also, like vjay I will worry more if I have a boy as the risk of autism is much higher in boys than in girls.

QA have fingers crossed and pom-poms at a ready. Hormones can play mad tricks with you x

Thank you for calming me down - would you believe after I posted that, the little bugger angel started kicking me like mad as if to say "I am here, honest". Gaah Grin

Back to work (boo).

cupcakefairy · 26/01/2011 11:57

Hi ladies! Well shiny new laptop is here so hopefully I can pop on a lot more now! Yay!

Just a quick catch up as have BIL and SIL visiting at the mo...

Hello mermaid Grin

bq YAY for a boy!! We're definitely due another Emmsy boy; Jude is beginning to feel like a loner! Awww boys are so lovely you'll have loads of fun.

4ever eek to Summer cruising! Jude has just started pulling himself up to standing; it's pretty scary!! Happy 8 months to Summer too :)

What great news about choccie, hope she pops back in soon.

Hi moon- I LOVE baking prince Grin

louey poor love, it's only natural to worry but amazing that you can find the heartbeat :) are you going to find out whether it's pink or blue?? So sorry for your poor sis :( so sad. Really hope it still happens for them. A couple we know had IVF a few years ago and got their baby boy...but now have just had a baby girl naturally, completely unexpected and they're both in their 40s :) great stuff.

Hope all poor sick babies (and bigger babies!) feel better soon. Sorry to dash off... hopefully back tomorrow for more!

QuestionsAgain · 26/01/2011 11:56

Great news BQ relief all round I bet. Smile

Louey Thanks for the hugs, most needed today and thanks for remembering it's my last few days of the 2ww, though don't think it is this month. I have had horrendous PMT this week and feel really irratable and low. So sorry you are having a weeble, annoying that you have an extra week to wait for your scan too. Just keep in your mind that you have found the heart beat and you know your little one is making full use of the space available. It's no wonder you are more worried this time, after the MC, but you are doing so well. the infection won't be helping as it does tend to zap your energy a bit. Hang on in there, you are nearly half way! Smile Great news about choccie

Moon keeping everything crossed for you that AF stays away. This ttc lark is messing with me alot, but have been thinking of you this week and the wait you have had, just hope it is not much longer for you x

Right am off....

4everhopeful · 26/01/2011 11:15

Louey its sooo understandable to be feeling jittery hon.. Thank god for dopplers is all i can say! Once you have your scan im sure you will feel much better though, in the meantime we are all here to hold your hand through the weebles we have all also had!

Fab news about choccie! Grin Oh yes, and Summer is most definately cruising, has been since christmas, navigates her way round the furniture at a very rapid rate indeed! Added a gate to our front room as well as stairs cos she is everywhere! Must dash 8m check at 1pm so must bath while she naps!

loueytb3 · 26/01/2011 09:54

Morning, pesky work is getting in the way of MN (how dare it) so I'm going to attempt a post today before I get started....

BQ hooray for a good scan and a baby boy. Boys are lots of fun Wink Am Grin at baking prince comments (very good moon!) Half-way there! I think it's definitely time to add you to the big panters - what is your EDD? Have you got any names yet?

LBM I'm sorry you've got poorly littlebells too? Hope they are all feeling better soon. You have my sympathies.

vjay talking of poorly - are your two better? Hope your neck feels better soon - poor you and poor cjay. I had to google shred - had no idea either. Was very Confused for a while as all that came up was shredders. Then I found the 30-day shred and realised what you were on about. I'm storing that one up for postnatal operation get rid of baby belly. It will be worth getting to see what mermaid is going on about Jillian's boobs in level 2 Grin

mermaid lol at boden ladies at swimming lessons. I've yet to really come across them as most of my friends are either twin mums who have no money for Boden or my NCT group who mostly work. I think I'm the only one who has anything from Boden and I blame MN, and especially monkey and blue for that. Oh and very well done and oodles of wine for finishing your tax return well within the deadline.

blue (and vjay) belated happy burns night [bsmile]. Did you decide to partake in the haggis in the end? I think I may have had it years ago. I have spoken to my sister - she sounds very down and is blaming herself although she has absolutely no reason to Sad We are going to meet up for a drink soon hopefully. They have to go back to have a debrief with the clinic in a couple of weeks and then they will decide what to do.

4ever Happy 8 month birthday to S! and wow - 2 teeth already. Has she made any attempts at cruising yet?

sabs congratulations on your new niece Smile! I'm glad you have managed to see her through skype already. Its so Sad when they are so far away. My sister and my nieces are in the US and we only get to meet up once a year if we are lucky Sad.

barbie c'mon regale us with the latest in dolly's antics. And do you have lovely buffed and painted feet? Have never had a pedicure but I will during this pg. Can't bear having tatty toenails in summer and methinks I won't be able to reach my toes by then. I find it hard enough to do a decent job when I can reach. Do like blue's suggestions of birthday outfits. Is DH sticking around for a while now. How is Dolly sleeping at the moment?

monkey you clean for the cleaning lady - isn't that missing the point???

moon fingers crossed for you that AF doesn't show...

QA are you 2wwaiting too? I know what you mean about joining the October bus - I was due in Oct too. It would be too raw for me. Hugs - there is a bfp with your name on it coming very soon (hopefully by this weekend)...

buddha is E still covered in bruises??

mrskate I'm so glad you are on the right meds now, it sounds as though you have had a right time of it. take it easy and as wise QA said, ease back into work slowly. Fantastic news about your sisters friend.

I'm feeling a bit jittery. I've still got 3 wks until my 20wk scan (its not until nearly 21 wks) and it feels like ages. Some days I can feel movements and others I can't. I got the doppler out last night and managed to find the hb eventually. It is moving all over the place and it's really difficult to find. With the DTs, it was easy as their hbs were basically in the same place everytime. This one seems to be doing zumba in there....clearly it has a lot more space to move around and is using it. I don't remember worrying like this with DTs (and I had more reason to worry with them). Someone talk some sense into me!! Also I think my urine infection may have come back too although Im still taking antibiotics. Despite my whinging, I am ok. Just need more sleep!

I did a bit of stalking and found Choccie on another thread. It appears she has just got a bfp! Will pop on there when I get a chance. Haven't seen pfj around for ages. Must go and work now!

BuddhaBelly · 26/01/2011 09:30

LBM Hope you are all feeling a little better today?
Mermaid Grin Grin Hello lovely lady Grin so wonderful to have you back Smile
4ever Shock 8 months! Mind you I still can't believe Ewan is 14 months, I don't know where the time goes too!
BQ Grin Welcome to the world of blue trouble Wink
Vjay How are the boys today?
Barbie Been looking at your videos of Devon over the weekend - gorgeous Smile

Right off to do some work, maybe back later

littlebellsmum · 25/01/2011 21:24

Happy haggis eating all - did try it a few years ago, complete with a very nasty whiskey sauce. The haggis was OK but the sauce ....bleugh...

mermaid you're back - how lovely

Blue you and your clothes! But I do agree, Dolly will need at least three outfits for her big day!

4ever Yay to 8m and 2 teeth. BabyBelle is still toothless, she does now sit up and is doing a good line in standing - me thinks she will be spending most of the flight to Oz looking at the people behind!!
8m is such a lovely age too - remember it clearly from DD1, really interactive and easy to please.

bakingqueen , wow bakingprince Congratulations - very exciting and pleased it is all going so well and so fast.

Sorry - got to go, being rude as ever as I've missed loads but the tummy bug is getting the littlebell household and toilets rule...

4everhopeful · 25/01/2011 17:15

I love that mermaid is back! [bgrin]

mermaidspurse · 25/01/2011 16:30

theoretically of course we are just toning and oh God does Jillian tone but in my opinion she needs some serious boob control in level 2. Well it made me feel better anyway, smirk.

And also am thanking myself for living at the other end of the country and so do not have to eat haggis but to all those up there have a happy [bsmile]

bq contented smile at having to think up some namesSmile I hope you are begining to feel that you can breathe in and out and relax a little.
right off to natter with the bodens mums at swimming - bq you have this to look forward to!

VJay · 25/01/2011 15:45

I'm having haggis tonight [bgrin], when in Rome and all that [bgrin]

blue the boys are on the mend [bsmile], and no I didn't shred I did the ironing instead [bhmm], I'm giving myself a week off as I've hurt my neck, I pulled it when manhandling Cjay into the car to see the doctor, he was scared bless him.

barbie you mean to say you are a mumsnetter who hasn't heard of the '30 day shred' [bshock][bgrin] There were even 2 thread on it in the weight loss section, I was on one and I found mermaid on the other [bgrin]

bq a big fat YAY to a fab scan [bgrin]

Laters my lovely weebling lovelies [bsmile]

BuddhaBelly · 25/01/2011 12:25

Blue Why are you saying no to the haggis? [bhmm} Something to tell us? [bwink]

bluesatinsash · 24/01/2011 20:07

Mermaid [bsmile], you're back [bsmile]

BQ - congrats on a good scan and a bonny bouncing boy to boot, lovely [bsmile]

Vjay - hope your two are on the mend. Did the ironing tackle itself or did you fire in there [bgrin]?

monkey - hey . When's your next appointment re: your PLAN?

louey - how's your sister? Been thinking about her... xx

Sabs - great news on your SIL [bsmile], hope work's OK x

barbie - hate posting form DH's phone too. Its a i-phone and all slippy and hair triggery matched with my low irritability threshold = not a good combo. I like my desk top, its got proper keys and everyfink.

Soooo, what is Dolly wearing on her b'day? I'm thinking a day outfit, possible a swimsuit and some super cute pj's for evening showing off?? I hope so!

Sloping off downstairs for cuppa, a tout a l'heure xx

Burns Night tomorrow - oc ai the noo [bgrin]. I shall be saying non to the haggis although it is lovely stuffed in chicken with a drambuie sauce

BlueMoon1981 · 24/01/2011 19:37
