Wierdly, it seems to be medical week for us all! On Monday we are off to the Portland again to have the test to see if we'd need the same immunotherapy treatment in our next pregnancy.. Iv had my head in the sand a bit, have not used any contraception since Summer was born, but felt quite pragmatic about a potential bfp, in a what will be will be mode, however my SIL made it hit home that if we went onto have another mc it would be awful and Id kick myself that a simple, albeit expensive, test could of prevented it.. There is a chance the treatment we had for Summer could cover us for life, if not we would need to have another round, a very small price to pay in the scheme of things but obviously hoping we're coverd

Next week is going to be a right rollercoaster. The special educational needs panel are meeting to decide about Isaac's statement (looks as though we are almost going to get what we want after a long fight). The panel for the ASD unit attached to the primary school we want him to go to are also meeting and one of the staff from the unit is going to observe him in nursery school. Oh and I've got the small matter of a scan. I'm going to be a wreck by the end of the week!!!

DH working from home today as well and we've had a lovely lunch out together

moon your lovely DF (and mum)! So glad you had a fab birthday weekend away. It was just what you needed. Lots of BD practice is always fun

barbie I had it in my head your colonoscopy was this week (but then my brain is mush at the moment). My MIL had hers on Mnday but from what I've heard (2nd hand) it wasn't a colonoscopy. She was cleaned out and given some iodine and then they scanned her. DH's family are not at all medical and don't seem to ask questions about why they are doing something or what the procedure was called so I'm a bit in the dark about what is going on. I asked DH when she would be going back to find out the results and she said she didn't know. Argh. Anyway, if it helps, DH spoke to her on the evening after she had been in and she was absolutely fine and didn't seem to suggest it had been an awful experience.

cupcake love the ELC set - Jude will have great fun with that. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as they get older. My two can now work pretty much every remote control in the house. This morning, Luke had managed to turn both the TV and skybox on, had found the recording of Wall-E on skyplus and pressed play . Isaac also seems to think that my camera is much better than his (not cheap) camera. Thankfully you have a way to go before you get to this stage...

Curly so glad you and curlygirl had a good birthday. Sounds like the party was a lot of fun. You might be lucky find that curlygirl is not interested in cupboards - some children just aren't so I would wait and see what she does before you put cupboard locks on everything. Not mine unfortunately although they have outgrown that phase.

mermaid have seen your post but know nothing about the menopause - hope you get some useful responses and that you haven't got too long to wait for the drs appt. You know that we are still holding out hope for you. Took me a while to realise what on earth the concrete walk was but it made me once my brain had caught up.

Huge apologies to all of you who got dodgy emails from me. I can't work what has happened. I can see some have been sent from my account, but more of you have got emails than I can see. Anyway, have changed my password and hopefully that has stopped it. Please let me know if you get any more. I haven't accessed my mail from a pc for ages so I must have been hacked through my phone .

20 weeks today and feeling a bit more human after a good nights sleep and no interruptions from small children. Luke was ill at the end of last week/weekend with a high temp so its been a difficult few days (and trying to fit work around it all). SIL coming tomorrow night for the weekend bringing the Christmas presents that we haven't been able to get because of snow and then MIL's illness. Think we will have hyper children tomorrow night. Also need to sort out their birthday party/presents soon as its only just over a month away...

thanks for all the birthday wishes and the my lovely mum and df collaborated and paid for a weekend away in blackpool, how they kept it a secret i do not know! it was lovely though, despite the crap weather, df and i had such a great time and it was just what we needed, i fell in love with him all over again, and there was a lot of bd action

our appointment is not til friday afternoon, i think this is about as close to a scared face as i can get i feel quite calm at the moment, im sure that will change though.

hope you all had a lovely weekend and gracie and curly enjoyed celebrating a whole year of being mums :)

I looked after a 14month old yesterday The good side of this was I had to tidy up a lot. I had forgotten the concrete leg walk, so funny. Made me think a tiny what if but only tiny. Looks like the perimenopause or worse has started for me Waiting for an appoint. with my dr to see about blood tests. humpf. But I am mellowish, just I asked over in the menopause section, eek - aka the dark side - easier than repeating myself. Right work.

We had a fab time :) It has definitely been the best year of my life and she gets cuter by the day At one point during the chaos of her birthday party, I sat back and thought about the road to here and how much I have relied on all of you. My silly phone is giving up the ghost after Summer has chewed on it every day for the last few months! So am on laptop, but now unable to daily lurk from phone!
