OMG, I am now officially sick of writing Christmas cards, its the one part of Christmas i am enjoying less and less every year.

Another quicky from me - barbie, the photo was taken in our garden and we wanted to get it taken quickly as the snow had started to melt, so quick togging up of bemused kids and quick photo - good result though. WE use the kids as the card every year, not sure how long they will tolerate it though, think teens might be a bit cruel!

neeko Going back to work will be horrible but it will soon get better. I remember crying when I got home that first night as it was just to hard trying to do everything, but 2 months later, it doesn't seem anywhere near as bad, and thats with BabyJ not sleeping. Looking forward to Christmas though!!

The only news from me is that dh has now started to put dd2 to bed which is a massive pressure off of me. However tonight she just wasn't having it so I put her bottle of ebm in the microwave & she then guzzled it up. She still didn't settle with him so I took over & put her on the feeding cushion on my lap - she was asleep within 30 seconds. She knows what she likes, a warm bottle of milk & a comfy cushion - nowt wrong with that!

BQ 14 weeks that seems to have gone so quickly, though not for you I'll bet. Sorry you are feeling so sleepy and sick, I know it's a good sign, but you still have to deal with it. I am amazed you have managed to keep it to yourself for so long, especially as you are feeling so rough. Sounds positive about the nuchal results, but I understand that feeling of needing to see it in B&W.

Hello another quick post from me as all I still want to do is sleep and be sick please tell me this gets better soon. 14 weeks now can't believe I have got so far feel so blessed. Not heard nuchal results yet which from what they say means good news as they would have phoned today if results were high risks. Won't quite settle until I get the letter with the risk factor on it.
Got consultant appointment next week because of me having a high BMI have to see them and decide whether I can have midwife antenatal care or wherher I have to have consultant. Not really so worried as insisted on staying under same consultant as I had for the infertility stuff so at least I know him. Just really need to start telling people about the baby now including our parents!

4ever did santa give Summer a gift? if i remember rightly they were always pretty good in Bentalls...i used to love walking to work throuh the market place, i think you might know the apartment we had? the one in quayside walk, one of the three townhouses, we had the one on the end, next to the pub...middle flat, floor to ceiling windows and a mezzine floor looking over the river....tis was bliss..

monkey and mermaid I have been thinking about you both lately, it is a crappy time in some respects for you both right now, but just know we are here for idle chit chat, or meaningful chit chat, which ever you fancy

Had quite a nice morning, Cjay wrote all his Christmas cards to his class mates, he sat in our bed with a bowl of sweets and slowly wrote them all, I am really pleased, it's the first time he's sat there for so long and done something like this, I now need to get him to clean his teeth

Jeez it's soooooooooooo quiet!

We are in the midst of packing, shopping and other stress inducing tasks...

Yesterday at bbq, my friend made her 8 week old a bottle and put it on the floor...dd crawled over, took it and drank the bloody lot ...made another one using her milk and the same bottle and she took another 3 oz

Put her to bed and she went straight to sleep, woke at 9pm self settled and then....

It all went tit's up (excuse the pun)

She had such bad wind, it took 2 hours of running up and down the stairs, shh/patting, etc etc to get her to settle and there was me thinking it would be the first night she slept

I have been right out and bought the same milk and have made a bottle now to see what she does...fingers crossed cos i have seen a nice dress in massimo dutti and i cant get access to my boobs to feed her....i so want the dress

Hope you are ok, and not digging the kids out from under tress/ snow etc.
