Things have gone from crazy to nuts around here. I'm back to work soon and trying to get everything sorted before then, but this week we've all had this horrible vomiting bug, and now we've got no running water (long story) and I'm waiting for an emergency plumber to arrive and relieve me of curlygirl's college fund

We were supposed to be going down to Cornwall to see the ILs tomorrow (already postponed from before Christmas because of the bloody snow). However my MIL is really poorly and has been all week. She hates Drs so has been resisting seeing one but we have all put our foot down and hopefully one will be out to see her today. I am worried because her symptoms fit with gallstones and/or pancreatitis, neither of which are good. She can barely stand upright and has been in pain/vomiting since Monday. I think they thought it was a gastric bug but I'm pretty sure it isn't now.

Otherwise, apart from having horrible tube journeys (grrrrr), all is well with me. Still very tired, still puking occasionally but am alright. Bump seems to have grown overnight. Will try and get a pic soon (need to get DH to help and he has been out). Have finally managed to get a decent maternity swimming costume so I am planning on going swimming tomorrow morning. How much swimming I will do I am not sure but its a start.

I also love NOTH - got some great sock puppets as presents for girls for Christmas - and they sent my order twice and told me to keep the second one for no charge - how nice are they!

4ever yesterday sounded as nice as these things can be and how lovely to have Summer to share it with, with a tinge of sadness too I bet. Can't believe she has a tooth and is following in the dolly school of exploration. I'm v pleased I have a lazy placid one with no teeth who is developing a good line in screeching to get her own way!!

OOOh gawd time to go, Summer is hanging onto the sides of her cot one handed, she just tried to grab my (thankfully empty) coffee cup, shes just gone all red and think left a pressie for me in her nappy.. Now shes trying to bend over and reach a toy, she is set on doing everything one handed and stretching over as far as she can when standing hanging on by her other hand, we have already had a few tumbles thanks to this new found passion! Still cant believe the tooth is here!

Ooh was gonna do a long post tomorrow to thank you absolutely lovely ladies for your kind thoughtful words for yesterday, your such a special bunch, we marked the day as nicely as we could, mum came round to us, let off personalised balloons, then to frankie and bennys for dinner.. We try not to be too sad, as we all know, the run up to anniversarys is often worse than the day itself, which was actually quite peaceful..

I will still be doing individual posts as planned tomorrow though, however, had to pop into say a very Happy birthday to Barbie! Hope you are feeling better now, at least better enough for cake!
