Sorry MrsP, great positive attitude.

Over here FF has now confirmed I ovulated on Thurs (CD16) so indeed AF is due 22nd Dec and I am 3DPO. Yet again my and DHs work trips were shockingly timed. For 2 of my 4 most fertile days we couldn't SWI. Makes me resent work that it is getting in the way of our precious quest to concieve.

Despite that FF thinks we have a bit of a chance due to when we did SWI so fingers crossed.

Got an EDD of 1 Sept since ov was 1 day out from predicted but will hang about here as like this bus. Might join Sept aswell (under some mad illusion that will increase my chances!?)

Tee hee, can hear DH singing "Last Christmas" along with the radio whilst he is cooking up breakfast!

MrsP81 · 11/12/2010 21:10

I was right, AF has now arrived. Xmas Sad I knew yesterday that she was on her way though so have already come to terms with the disappointment and ready for the next round!

northeastmummy · 11/12/2010 21:03

Lovely news Fel1x - what a day you've had!

Best of luck on the September bus snowqueen. Sorry to see you go Xmas Sad.

Who all still has to test?

Update from me...
Did a clearblue digital lunch time and it says pregnant!!!!
So that's a bfp for me. So excited!!!

fel1x · 11/12/2010 10:40

Sorry to hear that snow. What a gem of a DP you have though. Goood luck for your Drs appt and with the Sep bus.

I am still in a state of not knowing. AF was due yesterday and hasnt arrived yet.
I did another one of my cheap ebay tests this morning and there was a faint line. I waved it in front of DHs face (while he was making breakfast lol) and said 'how many lines can you see?' he said '2' so the second line is def visible even though v faint.
It is from the same batch of tests that I'm not sure are accurate though as got weird results off them yesterday.

Will try and buy a supermarket test this weekend if af doesnt turn up and see what that says I think! Watch this space!

ravenlocks · 11/12/2010 10:05

Yeah MrsP keep us companay! Hope AF doesn't arrive for you.

ravenlocks · 11/12/2010 10:03

Sorry snowqueen, sounds like you have a gem of a DP there.

Good luck for a Sept baby, no doubt see you on the Sept bus.
xx

MrsP81 · 11/12/2010 10:02

Sorry AF got you snowqueen. Glad that it sounds like you have a very supportive DP though.

I too am off this bus. AF hasn't actually arrived yet but is definitely on the way (headache, cramps, temperature drop).

I'm going to hang out here for a while to keep the remaining few passengers company if they don't mind. Good luck!

snowqueenrollo · 11/12/2010 09:43

Ok that's me well and truly off the August bus.AF here with a vengeance. I feel utterly dreadful and it's very painful.

DP and i had a little cry together, he announced (lightheartedly) that we could well do without another August birthday in the family anyway. Then squeezed my hand and said 'GP together in the new year'

This is so different from when I was with my ex who was not interested in any aspect of TTC beyond the SWI Hmm. Being able to share this with DP is making it much easier to deal with, and it's great that i'm not going to have to drag him to the Dr.

Well done to those who got lucky on this bus, good luck to those still waiting.

snowqueenrollo · 11/12/2010 08:48

BFN this morning ladies and I've got rotten crampy feelings now so thinking AF may show up today Sad

lindy100 · 11/12/2010 04:18

Thanks for the messages, peeps!

And congrats to KLou and keeping fingers firmly crossed for SQR.

Mrsden, tbh it's a difficult one to say much useful about how I knew. I am a total control freak, and since I got pg on 1st cycle last time (and am a teacher so want a baby at a certain time of the year!) I was fully expecing it to be positive first time round. I'm one of those people who 'knew' Hmm - though I'm aware that many people 'know' and are wrong :(

Having said that, I did think I felt some moving and stretching in my groin muscle area - I've heard second time around it all happens quicker, and I suppose I know what to listen out for.

Though no really strong symptoms until 4am the day I was actually due on (Thurs). And now I feel like complete cack and have done ever since Thurs morning.

I tested because I felt crampy, dizzy, nauseous and sobbed when Jack Duckworth's death scene was shown on This Morning.

In terms of getting the SWI right, I think we were lucky - I knew when to do it but am rapidly coming to the conclusion that DH only has to look at me if it's the right time and I'm upduffed Blush.

Good luck to everyone still to test.

HmRo · 10/12/2010 22:31

Eskarin love your patience of waiting till weekend with DH! Congrats again Smile

northeastmummy any to tip for SWI at least every 3 days interesting and successful.

not sure if slummed in front of TV quietly loving the Friday Strictly got him in the mood, he was asleep before the second contestant was on Grin

northeastmummy · 10/12/2010 21:40

Big hugs to everyone! The waiting is impossible - I hate it. Thank goodness for venting on MN though. Imagine what it would be like if you couldn't speak about it???

Congrats to ALL the BFPs too. KLou - you have to win first prize for getting the most feeling into that post. I was quaking with adrenalin on your behalf Smile.

My top tip for TTC is to SWI (think this is the right acronym?) AT LEAST every 3 days. The little swimmers last quite a long time so if you do that for your entire cycle you have a really good chance. When we were TTC first time we were at it for almost a year and it wasn't till I tried it this way that it worked. I've stuck with it ever since and it hasn't failed me!

ravenlocks · 10/12/2010 21:36

Updated the stats, great to see a flurry of BFs! Congrats guys Grin.

Sending you loads of good luck vibes snowqueen
