Morning, just lots of sex really and dont worry too much about making a baby, just have loads of nooky!!!

ddas · 02/11/2010 23:22

what is everyone doing to maximise chances of BFP? since this is my first cycle of really trying a bit lost- using the ovulation calculators my most fertile period is from 4th-8th nov- but from what i've read ovulation can be unpredictable so we've been trying every 2 days from end of last period and in most fertile period maybe we'll try every day if it is possible-both really busy jobs with long hours so not sure how viable that is lol. but also heard that everyday not always best option as sperm count may be 2 low. other option i guess is the ovulation calculators but how useful have people found them? You don't realise how complicated this TTC stuff is until you really want to have kids!! want to feel that every month we try we're giving it our best shot lol.

How is everyone doing? My AF is almost gone :o and we go away on Thursday so will be SWI from then on, woohoo. Had an awful time of it this month, I so hope I get lucky and don't have to have another AF.

Sorry to hear about a couple of people leaving the bus :(

Hello all-

hope you all had a good weekend.

321 i know, all these threads are pretty confusing! The various bus threads are basically for those trying to conceive in a particular month - so babies conceived in November will be August babies. I think people hop on and off buses depending on whether they get a BFP or not!

button thanks for that. There are lots of threads giving pros and cons on having 3, which I try not to read. Good to hear positives though!

Think I should still be on the August bus but waiting for AF to arrive - have been getting phantom symptoms though (can't be accurate given lack of SWI at the relevant time!) so am trying to ignore them. AF due Thurs...

321sanitygone · 02/11/2010 08:47

Hi
New to mumsnet and this sort of board. Does the August bus mean you have to want an August baby? We are ttc but i'm not really bothered when the baby arrives but i guess if i fell quickly it would be around august? Is this the right bus for me?

MorayRose · 02/11/2010 08:34

Hello Spirita and welcome!

I feel exactly the same as you... excited, nervous, worried, happy and it goes on. Let's hope this is a successful month for us both.

I'm trying not to get bogged down with TTC but it's hard and this is only my 2nd cycle.

I was 1 wk late last cycle (which was unusual for me) so I was convinced I had been successful... took a test and then started the following day. Typical!!

Hello everyone,

I'm jumping on the August bus.

TTC#1 - I missed the July bus so here I am.

Was sitting down with DH yesterday evening discussing our plans for this week (we've both got a manic one). I casually added that we also had to fit in some time to TTC, much to my delight he told me that was top of his list!

Fingers crossed for everyone xx

jaggythistle · 01/11/2010 11:02

Thanks, I am totally going to resist testing till Friday at the latest. (and will not in any way rip the packaging off my cheap HPTs when they arrive and run for a wee even if it's not the morning.)

Grin

Hi All,

I am temporarily jumping on to the July bus as in my excitement to get started I had failed to notice that if I was very lucky and was successful this cycle, my due date would be the middle of July Shock.

Will probably be back soon though, not feeling very pregnant!

My funny feeling nipples and sudden psycho mood swings from the end of last week have disappeared. :)

bye for now...
