The August Bus

thanks buttonmoon that does give me some hope Got myself into a bit of a down-in-the-dumps moment this evening thinking "humph, we timed it just right but it didn't work, why why WHY", but thanks for encouraging me! So, when did you get sore boobs, or didn't you? Did you get any symptoms before your BFP or none at all?

It's too early Getdown as you well know. After all, it ain't over til the fat lady sings.

I thought there was no chance this month. I've always had symptoms before and none this month. AF was due Sun, took test Fri am. -ve. Used up the second in the pack on Sun evening. +ve. CBD mon am - def +ve!

So don't give up hope. It may or may not be your month but don't despair until hope is gone.

Ahh that's lovely queenrollo would be nice if you had a boy to carry on the name.

I just told DH that I didn't think this was going to be our month Am I mad to give up hope at 7DPO? It's just the previous times I've been pregnant I got really bad implantation pains by now, and really sore boobs as well.

I have neither Maybe it's too early, but I just have that non-pregnant feeling. Ah well. We'll see.

getdown yes i'm changing my name. DP asked me if i would and when i said 'of course! why wouldn't i?' he got a bit tearful as his ex refused to when they wed. He's the only boy in his family and it's quite an unusual name so i'm hoping to fall PG with a boy to carry it on.

Fel1x i was on here when i fell pg with DS and moved from the conception topics to a 'due in' on the Ante-natal part. I was on Sept but ds arrived a month early so i sent my then partner home with instructions to inform mnet of the arrival. priorities and all that

mixed feelings about another august baby.....two leo children in the same house? plus me, though i'm a Leo/Virgo cusp......poor DP is a reflective Pisces - i think we're a bit manic for him sometimes!

Oh and wanted to ask - how does the bus thread work? I know the people who dont get pregnant move on to a September bus but Do the people who do get pregnant and then are due in Aug, stay on the bus together until August? Or do they move on to a due in august thread instead??

I ahve put my last 2 AF dates into fertility friend website (thanks for the website tip!) and it says I should be ov'ing today! Not sure how accurate it is as I dont ahve any signs or feel any different at all but hopefully its all happening! DH was away yesterday but the 2 days before that I managed to grab him and will again tonight to improve our chances!

I really really want to get lucky this month. I'd love to be able to tell our parents over xmas and I really want an August baby (will save on a year of extra childcare fees is that a really terrible admission??!) plus will be less of an age gap between DS2 and DC3 the sooner it happens!

Dh getting excited too I think. He's been talking baby names already without me even mentioning it

queenrollo - well he is nearly your DH! Are you going to change your surname? Took me ages to get used to my new name!

What kind of weird mslk - do you mean ill? Or symptoms?

I'm with you re, rather getting AF than testing and getting a BFN. BFNs are so disappointing. I think I'm going to test on 1st december if AF hasn't shown up by then.

Still feeling proper weird here. I would say AF is more likely to be Mon/Tues rather than at the weekend but it always varies with me. Hope what ever it is I'm feeling doesn't last long - I don't like it!

lol i just realised i posted DH instead of DP.....and he's not actually my DH until the end of Feb

I am most definitely feeling the primal urge to procreate this week DH thinks Christmas has come early!

Sorry to those who AF got, good luck to those on the 2WW. I have a busy couple of weeks ahead of me, which i'm thankful for as hopefully it will distract me from phantom symptom spotting.

I am on DPO 7. Got implantation times last time at 7DPO, but no twinges at all Also boobs not sore which has always been a sure sign for me, but hey, I guess it's still early days....

The only weird thing I do have is a strange taste in my mouth. But I suspect that's rather more due to my streaming cold

Hi everyone. Quick question, what is the drill with evening primrose oil? I bought some (with my tampax - ) this morning. 300mg capsules. Do you take one a day from CD1 to Ov?

Fingers crossed on the job front for DH Button

Thought symptoms were subsiding and AF was imminent but am now feeling weird again and have mild cramps. Not sure how early testing is possible but as AF can be a day or two either way am going to try and hold out for another week. Think I?d rather get AF the BFN.

100years i have 2 cheapy asda ones - so maybe i should wait until monday!
If i'm not, then i am getting to the drs, because i have such cramps/aches for this week, every cycle, so there must be something up?

Oopsy! Am on Blackberry am not doing very well at this typing malarky! Stuck on a train that's going nowhere due to person under train - v sad. Fear it may be some hours before I'm home and can check properly on pant snoggage situation

A lot has happened since I last posted! Welcome to new passengers and sorry to see some of you leaving.

I am now on day 20 and still haven't ov'd, aaaaaaargh! Body seems to be gearing up to it although I thought that last week too. My stats will need updating but I'll wait until I've laid an egg. It's soooooooooo frustrating!

29th so in the normal course of events it would be August but I think it'll be July as they'll probably induce early me like last time.

DH has an ally jobwise - a bit of a finder who's got him jobs in the past. They say he shouldn't be out of work for long so I'm hoping for a jolly Christmas with some good news!

I am also trying for #3 - and working on that same basic theory - but after 7 months of trying now i am starting to think i should be doing something else?! My theory obviously doesn't work!
Since we have been trying, every single one of my friends has announced they are pregnant/just had a baby. Even though i am so excited and happy for them .. coo-ing over their scan pictures etc is making me sooo broody now!
