Oh I dont know. I think doom rather fits Sad

Chin up xx

PinkFondantFancy · 26/10/2010 16:26

Didn't really mean doom, meant d-oh! Obviously pleased for him, just despairing for myself sob

PinkFondantFancy · 26/10/2010 16:25

Doom, one of my colleagues' wife has just given birth to a little girl and have just seen a photo, she is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen. I'm off to the bogs to sit in a pit of self-pity for a bit.........

nickstermum · 26/10/2010 14:32

Catch up properly :)

Velvet I am with you on the DH thinking you are obsessive... DH the same here sadly! shame huh? doesnt help the cause i find!

Boo im sorry you find yourself at this juncture. You know where we are when you need us xxxxxx Everything crossed for you that it will happen soon :) and that DH obliges....... mr Nix is not much different, find myself being extra nice in my quest for sperm!

mouse i think you need to find a giant sized johnnie to protect your DH from MRSA in your SWOI attempts! (at least to protect his swimmers anyway [hgrin]

fondant glad you are feeling good. It makes a massive difference i find to concentration levels as well etc with sugar reduction. definate link between sugar and bad behaviour (IME of DS and sugar) so i hpoe your behaviour has improved also!!!! Get your antibacterial wipes out and FFS dont lick your lips after the sneeze!

IZZ hope the shagathon continued at chez izzzmcwizz :) With you re the disheartened feeling, even tho i am only in C1, It took me 4 months of trying, albeit not really trying, to conceive PG n2 and i wasnt temping or OPK'ing. Heres hoping it happens for everyone soon xxx

betweener urm thats actually a short cycle for me! when TTC last time i was 40 days so its actually come down to 35 post MC (blessing in disguise if ever could be called that) Hopefully if i can get my stress levels under control i may be able to get it back to 32 ish

Jam you will have another baby!!!! Life begins at 40 as they say :) [hgrin] at the peeing on objects, put the balls in the toilet to see if that helps his aim?

betweener you may have an infection. TMI Alert folks! I went for a swab as i suspected infec as the odour was a touch "fishy" (god i hate that word! I had noticed it when i was MC'ing but it smelt the same as when i had birthed DS and i was told that was normal!) With BV you can get a fishy odour, thats a bacterial imbalance, and is normally associated with the cause of late MC rather than early. I was diagnosed with a staph infection which again is just a bacterial infection - for either abs are prescribed, but i was told that it wasnt a MC cause and wasnt an STI either. I sspect i already had it, either that or it was caused by bathing when MC'ing or having an empty ovum inside for 3 months! Get yourself checked out, its easily rectified! and grit your teeth with the ducks bill [hgrin] I hope you havent, though btw! Sounds like you are having lots of SWI - good stuff, hope for a bfp soon then :)

Keep going ladies, we will get there soon.
I have a break now for a couple of weeks to try and get my stress levels controlled. Not likely with my bloody fucking job! Working mum has its benefits but its a god damn juggling act!

Waves also to cariboo hope you are feeling fab lovely xx preetyy how are the handies chick? hairy hows the tiredness? and anyone else not seen around for a while!

Jamface · 26/10/2010 12:37

I don't know what it is either. My ds just wants to pee on objects. He's like a puppy marking his territory! [hgrin]

inbetweener · 26/10/2010 12:15

Hello all,

nicks sorry it arrived. And on day 35 too WTF !!! I hate it when our cycles mess us about.
jam ((((((()))))))) just a little one for that thought about your last chance at an under 40 baby. Its so depressing sometimes isnt it, how it takes us over.
As someone else said its doubly cruel becuase we have all had our bloody BFP's and now we havent nay more grrrr.
urban lol at DS !! I love that. I have two girls and cant imagine being a mummy to a boy, but you never know ??

So I am on CD17 and if I have ovulated correctly I am 2dpo. BUT I dont think I have.
The last few cycles I have had really strong stomach pains right around ovulation time and I didnt this month Sad. Plus I know it was correct as I got my BFP after dtd around the time of the pain. Im utterly convinced I havent ovulated, or I ovulated earlier then I thought and we missed it as there was about three days in a row when we didnt dtd. Other then that we have been dtd nearly every bloody night !! DH keeps saying oh come on, we're supposed to be trying Wink and its sort of taking the fun out of it slightly. For some reason I hate being reminded of that. PLUS and please forgive me as this is waaaaaaaay TMI but the last few times after we have slept together there has been a sort of smell from me Blush Blush and I am now wondering of I have some sort of bacterial infection that may have caused the MC ?? SO I guess its off to the bloody GP for me.

I think I might be having too much sex lol

nickstermum · 26/10/2010 11:02

Lolly what is it about boys? Ds is obsessed with making his stick up!!! Has discovered there is a hole in the end which has just resulted in making him even more intrigued - bless!!

Catch up later properly ;)

Jamface · 26/10/2010 10:41

Love the funny thought for the day urban!

I just wanted to give all feeling rubbish a hug. Since last af I have been fighting off feeling depressed. It's hard to not let it take over your life (it occupies almost every thought I have). This cycle is the last one that if I got pregnant I could have a baby before i'm 40. Isn't it funny the thoughts we get stuck on. But even though I also miss the fact that first time round it was simple and easy, and feel too as though it will never happen again, all we can do really is pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and keep trying. There are lots of us on this thread and I do think there'll be lots of bfps soon. Just hang in there x

Urbanlolly · 26/10/2010 09:54

X posted with you izzy fx with the swi....positive vibes passing through www to you all.....xxx
regarding 2ww will only get to obsess today.... Not off again till sun..blessing in disguise..

Urbanlolly · 26/10/2010 09:30

Funny thought/image for the day.... Still veging on sofa now watching cbeebies...eventhough ds had left the room!! Anyways he comes charging back in pj's round ankles "mummy look it's really Big, but why is it really big?"..... As he has a good pull & tug & fiddle at his manhood.... O' dear!!!!!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 26/10/2010 09:28

wonderif not sure exactly how long it would take to get a bfp after implantation, probably not long though? Maybe try leaving it 5-7 days and then test (and be sure to let us know the answer!). Or just test when AF would be due?

mouse good to hear from you, hope you're starting to feel better.

pink I am in awe of your detoxing - must make a better effort next month!

urbanlolly we too are having a lazy day, taking the DCs up to my mums tomorrow so just pottering around catching up with laundry and getting ready today. Dh not joining us until Friday after work though so need to get some (more!) SWI-ing in before we go! Hope the 2ww isn't going too slowly for you and you get sone good news at the end.

To all those in cycle 3 or similar and starting to feel a but disheartened - I am with you. It's hard to keep the positive mental attitude going when ttc suddenly seems to be an ongoing way of life rather than a short-term thing. I know we all want bfps asap but I suppose we have to remember that 3 or 4 months is not long at all to ttc in the grand scheme of things, it just seems longer because we had the bfp and then it was so cruelly taken away. Fx we get some more good news soon to give us all a boost x

Urbanlolly · 26/10/2010 08:54

Sorry that should read feeling...

Urbanlolly · 26/10/2010 08:52

Good morning ladies....unlurking just to say HELLO to you all....& passing round a yummy cooked brekfast .. Off today & it's half term so cuddled up with ds watching milkshake..... Plan to do sweet f* all, fx we won't get any suprise visitors as I will be forced to do some cleaning...yuck!!
((((())))) To all that are felling a bit down....wish ds magic wand really worked..... Then it would be BABY DUST ALL ROUND xxxxx
nicks sorry af got you...i was really convinced it was your turn...bummer.....x

I'm currently sitting out the 2ww!!! Some spotting yesterday day 6 post ov not getting hopes up just yet... FX there will be a BFP soon to put the smile back on our faces.
Apologies for not name checking...you are all in my thoughts xxx

PinkFondantFancy · 26/10/2010 08:11

Morning all! jammy, izz hope swi went well last night!

nicks :( at the witch turning up uninvited :( shorter cycles good though. No peak yet, fifth day of high in a row now.

izz understand your feelings about changing church esp if youve got friends there but your church should be welcoming to all of your family. I am Angry on your behalf-i can't believe how petty your priest has been :(

Good news on the SWOI mousey, glad to hear you're doing ok!

velvet ((())) so sorry you're having a rubbish time :( I completely understand where you're coming from-first time round it happened really quickly and with no fuss and now it feels like a mammoth effort. I've found temping has chilled me out a bit this month but understand why you might not be keen.

boo huge hugs for you nice lady. Fingers crossed swi recommences soon and that you're feeling better soon. I didn't mean to make you de-lurk, just wanted to let you know we're thinking of you.

By the way, really sorry I didn't check on you too mrs pretty-how could I have forgotten you??! Hope everything's ok and the hands are holding up ok

Did anyone else see the stunning sunrise at about 7:30 this morning? Bright red sky, soooo pretty.

Xeroxing is going well so far, no wheat, coffee or sugar yest ( although I ate so much dried fruit that it probably defeats the object...) even though there were jelly babies in the office!!! I think it has definitely improved my mood, DH reckons I'm much more chilled out so that has provided me with enough motivation to try and resist nicksters choccy digestives again today...

Unbeautiful though of the day-someone on the train just sneezed in my face. Thanks for that....

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 26/10/2010 07:41

Oh arsecrackers nicks - I'm sorry, was so hoping this was your month Sad x

nickstermum · 26/10/2010 06:57

Red witch arrived, damn damn damn Oh well at least cycle is shorter if nowt else! :(

mousebacon · 25/10/2010 22:43

Hello ladies, I'm ok PFF thanks for asking Smile

Well the big news from the frozen north is that SWOI has restarted so if nothing else this month DH has probably got MRSA!!

Still being treated but not much else to report.

off to bed [hsmile]

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 25/10/2010 22:42

ladyboo (((hugs))) sorry you're feeling down Sad. It's rubbish isn't it. Hope having a little bit of time out takes the pressure off a bit, hopefully you'll be back soon with some good news x

wonderif · 25/10/2010 22:28

Hi everyone thanks for all your lovely replies, can anyone advise if this is an implantation bleed when i would get a positive test.

i think i will lurk in the background too off thi thread and see what happens.

sorry to everyone who finds themselves on this thread at least there is great support on here its fab

x

HeadlessLadyBoo · 25/10/2010 22:00

Hi m'dears,

Been really really low these last few days, which is odd, I'm normally quite optimistic in the early part of my cycle, but am just not feeling any joy this time. I suspect it's because I'm on cycle 3 and without much hope that it'll work any better this time around and I'm settling in for the longhaul. Which is depressing.

I've got my fingers crossed for you but think I might need some time out from all this so I can get myself together more. I'll be lurking, no doubt - and will probably be back on in a week or so if I manage to persuade DH to actually SWI at some stage. Hmm How did we get to this? Sad

Velvetcu · 25/10/2010 21:26

Hi all

I'm ok thanks Pink just feeling a bit miserable about WTF cycles and upcoming due dates as well as being mega busy for OFSTED.

I never knew it was this difficult to make a baby when you actually planned to! Last time it was sooooo simple! I know I'm only on cycle 3 but I feel like i dont stand a chance when I have no idea how long my cycles are. Spoke to DH about temping and he said it was a bit obsessive. I havent been keeping up with it so far anyway :( I just want to know whats going on down there!

Anyway I am lurking so am still reading everything you ladies are writing.

Good luck SWIers [hsmile]

Nicks I hope she isnt coming to get you! Fingers crossed.

MummyAbroad · 25/10/2010 20:41

Grin Grin Grin @ the SWIers!

Jamface · 25/10/2010 20:22

OK,
cervix in correct position (check)
frilly knickers dug out from darkest recess of knicker drawer (check)
Enticingly delicious dinner on hob for unsuspecting DH (check)

Wish me luck ladies. I'm going in.... [hwink]

nickstermum · 25/10/2010 20:04

Hey Izz, [hgrin] at you all swi in unison !! I can confirm I shall absolutely not be thinking of you!! [hgrin]

Possibly not tomorrow, day 36 today so maybe leave it a day or two and poas on day 40 if it's not arrived! Dunno, more relaxed this time! Red witch will no doubt arrive later or tomorrow, so taking maxi pads to meeting, lush!

Sending lots of orgasmic thoughts your way for tonights action, and chants to urge those swimmers on! (sox if that sounds weird! Not a perv, just hope u catch the eggy)

Dh gone to bed, ds snoring so I am up for watching shit on tv! Ironing can wait !

I watched an ivf documentary the other day where the blokes sample sperm was awesome!!!! Sending those swimmers some energetic thoughts xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 25/10/2010 19:51

All right, i've stopped ranting now - thank you for bearing with me [hgrin]. Pink I might try a different church. I know we should stick with it but I just feel like my children aren't really welcome or valued so that pretty much means I'm not either in my eyes. It's a shame because we have some good friends there but...will have to give it some thought...

nicks I'm still not giving up on you yet, until RTD gets to you it's all still possible. [hgrin] at you doing the same as me with the thermometer, try holding the button down next time! Have you tried it now to get your last reading?

Good luck to jam and pink and anyone else swi-ing tonight, can't believe I'll be joining you (not literally, that would be weird) on day 20. Wish my cycle would get back to some kind of normality soon.

We also seem to have a bit of a pile-up at the top of the list - anyone testing soon? nicks are you going to POAS tomorrow if she doesn't arrive?
